rom the moment we stepped into the hotel, they took care of our every need. We were especially very pleased with the hotel staff. When checking out, they even helped me by printing my environmental label in color, which was extremely useful for me — something I will never forget. The room was spacious and very clean. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the city center. The room was completely soundproof, and we couldn’t hear any noise from outside. Everything was simply perfect.

Room was very clean, bed comfortable, breakfast high quality (freshly cooked eggs, bircher muesli, bread, croissants, fruit , loose leaf Darjeeling, daily special - usually avocado on bread), staff very friendly and efficient. Location was walking distance to shopping, museums, wide choice of restaurants and good public transport (we were attending the ATP tennis competition).

Only gripe was the rooftop lounge was not available on the day we wished to use it (corporate event).

The place was very central few minutes of walking distance from the U and S stations, the staff was super friendly and the room looked good. Warm and cold Air conditioning was available in the room and functioning, I really appreciated it. The breakfast was nice and tasty. I haven't tried the pizza and the other dishes to order and pick up at the reception all day but I guess that could be delicious and I wanted to try it!!

The great design of the environment wasn't very practical. Both in the early morning or in the late afternoon/evening (the hours I was in the hotel) it seemed to have two candles only (the lights were 2 but were super low, maybe a sustainability choice). Meaning that my bathroom door was always open (a lot of lighting in the shower) but still I couldn't manage to see myself with the right light when putting make up anywhere I tried in the room. The same issue in the bathroom, the light was too strong. The breakfast wasn't exactly a buffet, which I would have preferred. There were already made plates and you couldn't choose what to take as you had to get the whole.

To me it missed the little touches. The room was too dark. The air conditioning didn’t really work/bad control? There was a coffee machine but I had to ask for a kettle. No fridge in the room. Usually hotels like this smell wonderful, this didn’t have any smell and the soap products felt cheap. I guess I had higher expectations. I didn’t go to the lounge, sauna or gym so can’t comment

The EmiLu is our go-to hotel when we're not staying with friends. The location just behind Schlossplatz and the town hall is just perfect for a stay in downtown. It's very easy to reach with public transport and is close to Koenigstrasse which is the main shopping street. The check-in is professional and friendly, the hotel design is absolutely spot on and the rooms are beautifully designed and laid out. Not the biggest rooms but well cut so everything finds its space. The bathrooms are superb. They have a fantastic rooftop bar which has a DJ on certain days and attracts a really good Stuttgart after work crowd. The fact that the popular Tatti bar and lounge is just in front of the hotel helps cement this location as one of the best in town - sip on a glass of wine or a cocktail on their patio and soak in the atmosphere.

The gym is extremely small for a hotel this size.

Love the new concept of staying, the fact that you have a Loung on the top of the Hotel, where you can bring drinks from the bar or outside, and just chill, relax or work. I enjoyed it. You have 3 parking places within 2 min of walking from the hotel, It is situated in the center of the city full of awesome restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and public spaces full of people. The room was really nice throughout, I love the bathroom divided in 2 and the curtains. I like that I had a view over a small square. This will be one of my first choices when I come back to Stuttgart.

The only thing that I would recommend would be more drinks (types) at the reception bar.

You can't beat this location. The hotel itself is great. Good food options in the trendy bar and restaurant below. Clean minimalistic design. Gym is tiny, but you don't need more than that. I stayed at a chain hotel last year when I came into Stuttgart for work, and am glad I chose EmiLu this time. Will definitely stay at EmiLu again whenever I return to Stuttgart.

Shower didn't drain well and water flooded into the bathroom a bit, but it's not the end of the world.

The hotel is in an amazing location in the middle of the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms look beautiful. The breakfast had a large selection of options and this hotel in general exceeded our expectations.

The only thing that would have made our hotel stay better would be the comfort of the beds. The mattresses were very sturdy and the sheets were unfortunately a bit thin, therefore too cold for a night in early spring.

Great location, comfortable beds, separate toilet. I liked fact there was no carpet in the room and automatic doors. Safety parking in garage (need for reservation in advance).

Dark interior, view from window to trashes, and once we opened balcony, smell from trashes got into room. Plus we saw a lot of dusty in the Toilet room. No doors in bathroom.

We really enjoyed our stay in EmiLu Hotel, fantastic modern hotel in a good location of Stuttgart close to lots of restaurants and bars, our room had a very comfortable bed, bathroom had a walk in style shower, good selection at breakfast, omlets were lovely, staff were all friendly and helpful, would stay again if I ever return to Stuttgart

A bit pricey but we were there for the Euros football so it's to be expected prices are inflated
