We loved the staff. Super friendly, especially Janet who was exceptional. Give the lady a pay rise. She deserves it! Breakfast - what a great selection. Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially all the fresh bread.

It would have been so much better if there had been a small mini bar/fridge in the room to keep food and drinks cold. We really struggled on the hottest days to keep bottles of water cold more than 5 minutes. The 3 flights of stairs was a daily challenge, but I guess it got us a bit fitter!!

SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF!!! The two men that were at the desk while we stayed at the hotel were a perfect example of superior customer service. Both were welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly and genuine. The hotel allows you to store your baggage prior to check in. We felt very safe and comfortable in the area. We chose the 4th floor rooms and they were great. I loved the roof windows. I even slept at the foot of the bed so that I could wake up and see the morning sky. The hotel is more in a neighborhood so I felt like I got to see an authentic side of Frankfurt. There is also a grocery type shop nearby to grab some snacks or drinks. IF you need to wash your clothes there is also a wash and go nearby as well. The room was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very large. The shower was a handheld sprayer with excellent water pressure. Even though I know that there were other guests on our floor we never heard any noise with the exception of a door closing. Very pleased that we chose this hotel to end our Germany trip. The hotel does offer a breakfast but we had an early morning train to catch so we did not get to enjoy it. The lobby does close at night so you will enter a secure, fob entry door on the side. TIP-choose restaurants in this area.

When we were choosing the hotel, we didn't have many options for our dates, but this hotel definitely was worth it. I'm glad we chose it. 1. The staff was very nice, thank you for welcoming us. 2. Location was fine for us, it's a bit far from the city center (about 20-25 minutes I guess) but we enjoy walking. The area where the hotel is located is nice and safe, the big supermarket is really close, I liked it. 3. Hotel itself is really simple. So if you are not waiting for anything fancy, you'll like it. It was simple but good. At 8 p.m. the front door is closed so you can use the back door. 4. Our room was fine. We had enough space and it was pretty clean. Of course we missed some tea (could be included for this price) and the bathroom was pretty small, but in general it was okay. The bed was good. Thanks!

The only disadvantage for me is that there is no elevator there, so you need to take the stairs. We knew that in advance but anyway if you have a big suitcase it may be uncomfortable. Rooms are a bit outdated but fine in general.

The reception staff were incredibly helpful and kind, which made the experience pleasant. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore the area. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, which added to my overall comfort.

While the stay had its positives, there were some drawbacks. The room was old-fashioned, and the bathroom was very small. Additionally, it was disappointing that no free water was provided in the room. The breakfast selection was also quite limited and could be improved.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean the location was good: almost everything reachable by foot and several metro stations close by. The neighbourhood is residential, but with plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. My one-person room was small but not tiny, I could move around in it and all the necessary facilites were ther.

Nothing really, it is value for money. This is not a place to stay in if you cannot walk a few stairs as there is no lift but there are really not that many stairs.

Pension Am Heusteig was an excellent place to stay while in Stuttgart. The staff were excellent who were friendly and helpful our whole stay. The room was nice, warm, and snuggly with a nice clean bed. No complaints. Breakfasts were very fresh with plenty of options to choose from. The hotel was in a good location - just a bit out of the way, but within 10 to 15 minutes we were where we needed to be.

Conveniently located. Physically clean, though a stale or smoky smell was sometimes noticeable in the room and corridor. Fresh bread at breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly in brief conversations.

It’s a little bit dated and the duvets and pillows showed this. There was a stale smell in the room and corridors. I find it a bit impersonal that you have to let yourself in with a code these days. Room was incredibly hot when I arrived. Had to turn heaters off that had been on even on a 27C day. Breakfast was limited continental style but bread was fresh. Milk was warm :(

I stayed there with two friends in a three bed room. Beds were comfortable, room was quite and meant expectations. Breakfast was really good for the price and the staff were helpful and friendly. Only a short walk to the many good restaurants or the centre of the city.

Nothing really. Only a note to stay there is only street parking available but I left my car in P&R and took the Train as it worked out cheaper

The room was clean, nice and warm. The location was great, my sister and I walked to the city center and it was also close to the subways. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff was very helpful and very friendly. They also gave us information about places to visit and transportation. We arrived a little bit early, which I had told them beforehand. When we arrived, our room was ready, which was great. When we checked out, we could leave our suitcases at the hotel until train time, so we could explore a little bit more. They were very helpful with everything!

Location is excellent, walking distance to multiple Stadtbahn stations and restaurants. No laundry onsite, but there is a public laundry across the street. Plug outlets are convenient and there is plenty of storage space for clothes, bags, etc.

Not a big deal for me, but there wasn’t much of a view out of my window, and there is no lift. Also the doors do not lock automatically, you must lock them yourself.
