The hostel was spotlessly clean and located just a 5-minute walk from the city center — with a supermarket, pharmacy, and everything we needed right nearby. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, clearly caring about our comfort. She explained everything in detail and even let us check in early. On top of that, she moved us from a 6-bed female dorm to a 4-bed one, so in the end, it was just the two of us in the room — which made our stay even more comfortable. The bathroom and shower were perfectly clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The next day, we were allowed to leave our heavy backpacks for free until the evening — which helped a lot. For the price we paid, the hostel truly went above and beyond. We're very grateful, and if we ever come back to Stuttgart, we’ll definitely choose this place again!🥰🥰🥰

I had a great stay, the staff was very friendly and spoke English very well so it was easy to communicate. The cleaning is done everyday so it's refreshing, the bathrooms and toilets are always clean! The things I disliked (dislike is still a strong word) were the beds creaking, whether you are on the top bunk bed or the bottom it creaks everytime you move, also for some reason when I unlocked the door with my key the little alarm rang but I think it was a problem with my key, it wasn't that disturbing. I really recommend it if you are a solo traveller or with friends, even my roommates were very friendly !

I booked a bed in a 6-bed dormitory. The dormitory is large enough, so you do not feel packed at all. The bed is a bunk bed, with a fair enough good mattress. For this dorm (and the entire floor), you have access to 2 showers (shower + sink), 3 toilets (toilet + sink). All were clean. You also have access to a fully equipped kitchen, from 07:30am to 09:30pm. The common space is nice. The WiFi is good. Towel rental for 1eur. Parking lot space for 16eur per night. Breakfast buffet for 8eur. 250m away from Lidl supermarket. 500m away from Charlottenplatz tram stop. With regards to the staff, I was welcomed by Bastian, who is super nice and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.

- Nice location: it’s neither directly in city center nor near central train station, but if you have Deutschland Ticket, then it’s very convenient. The nearest tram station located less than 1 min walk, all the trams that pass here will take you to the central station with only 3 stops away and the city center. There’s also a supermarket around the corner. - Nice facilities: equipped with kitchen, balcony, shower is hot, water drain works fine. Locker in the room. Enough for your stay.

But not always. - really small wash basin. ( All in all, it’s not perfect, but with less than 20 euro per night it’s fine, got everything you need.)

I had a pleasant stay at Hostel Alex 30 in Stuttgart. The check-in process was fully digital, which was very convenient. Although I encountered an issue with the digital room key, the support team resolved it instantly via email, which I appreciated. The location is excellent, close to the tramway and easily accessible. However, the pillows were uncomfortably large, which might not suit everyone. Overall, a good experience with minor drawbacks.

Great Location. Easy access from airport on U Bahn Line 6 (exit airport and walk to tram station next to moevenpick hotel). Multiple U-Bahn lines at the nearby tram station, to S Bahn station short walk. Walking distance to Market Hall. Staff was wonderful easy check-in, and helped with bag up the stairs. Towels available for an amazingly reasonable cost with a refundable deposit. Bring eyeshades if light bothers you, curtains were very light. Neighborhood and room very quiet. Room and bathrooms very clean. Women & Men only rooms, but bathrooms are not designated can use by anyone. Once you check-in easy access to open door after hours. Separate rooms for shower and toilet, which is great as is makes them more available. Bed was comfortable enough. Overall a great stay at a good price.

Listing noted Entire unit located on ground floor, but the room was on the second level, up several stairs. Staff was kind and helped with my bag but i had selected that specific type of room on "ground" level based on not having to go up any stairs. If you cannot manage stairs verify in advance what floor. From what i could see i do not think there any rooms on the ground level just reception and the public areas.

The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean, generally speaking. The showers are really nice, good water flow and stable temperature

The bar/lounge area was a bit dirty and disorganized, at times there was no one at the desk. The room was a little bit noisy in the morning because of the traffic. Some guests are really noisy when they are packing their stuff, I know it has nothing to do with the hostel, but maybe a sign reminding the guests to respect others' rest and pack outside the room would be appreciated

The hostel is in a great location. The rooms were comfy and the in room toilet and shower were a huge bonus. The staff were helpful and the mobile friendly room access is very clever and useful.

The rooms we were allocated were on the top floor, and there is no lift (to be expected with a hostel), but we weren’t informed prior about the floor we were staying on. The booking states “parking and street parking”. The street parking is all gone by 4pm and the hostel itself on has 3 allocated parking spaces, so parking should be booked ahead.

The location is pretty good, it is convenient for me to take the metro from the airport. It took me only few minutes walking. The shared bathroom is clean, and the water is hot enough for shower during winter time. The experience that i appreciate the most was the staff, because i arrived during midnight and the staff replied the email rapidly and well explained the use of digital key. Could have more toilets/showers, but luckily it wasn't that busy during my stay.
