The staff was absolutely amazing and friendly. Location is great when you travel from one side of Europe to another. We even managed to come on time to have dinner and it was delicious. It was great it was dog friendly too!

It was a bit loud. It seems that the hotel is also an event venue. We were not able to fall asleep until midnight due to people drinking and talking outside. Even though this hotel is dog friendly and my dog is flea treated regularly, a flee jumped on me just as we were checking out in a lobby. :/

I love buffet breakfasts with quality, and this was one of them. Not a 5 stars breakfast, but what was there, was nice.

My bed happened to have a bad mattress, my partners and sons not. The room did not have a balcony, but that was something I should have checked when booking.

Very calm neibourghood. Good beds and very good shower. Friendly staff. Good dinner on terras outside at fair prices. Excellent breakfast with refill even close to 10 am. Very close to highway. Our dog was very welcome (5 euro) and nice walking paths. We stayed 1 night only as we were travelling to Austria

Nice diner, good prices and great portions. Breakfast is well balanced, perhaps some local ingredients would make it perfect. Small room but enough for one person, bathroom was clean and pretty modern

The fan in the bathroom was very loud. With the heat of summer some airco would have been appreciated Far from everything

Very welcoming and nice staff. I really want to thank the guy who checked in us - such a lovely guy (and speaks English!). Also this hotel is the most pet friendly place in whole EU (and yet it is really clean, you cannot see there were pets in a room or in the hotel in general). We stayed in a suite, it was big, clean and tidy. Had everything we needed for the one night stay we had. Very comfy beds and quiet place. The breakfast was super tasty and fresh.

Everything was great except the first night. Because there was an issue with the hot water supply, which wasn't hot but almost cold.. So if they just told us upfront it would be less annoying that we didn't have warm water.

That they didn't told us while checking in. Or when we passed the reception that there was an issue with the hot water that night

The staff were welcoming and friendly and spoke some English. The hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking. It was very convenient for our journey, not far from the motorway. Our room was comfortable and spacious enough for 3 adults. We enjoyed our evening meal and the breakfast was an extensive buffet.

We could smell cigarette smoke on the stairs.

3rd stay here. It's convenient from the main roads. Lovely staff, always welcoming and so nice to arrive after a long journey and not have to go looking for somewhere to eat as also has a lovely restaurant with fantastic food

This is the most Dog friendly hotel we know in Europe. Other hotels allow dogs but not in bars or restaurants. The Engel positively encourages well behaved dogs and they can accompany you to Dinner and Breakfast. The staff are friendly and accommodating. This is our sixth stay and we will stay again all being well

Nothing to dislike!

The staff were very helpful and pleasant and overall we very much enjoyed our stay. The room we had was very clean and of a good size and we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

As it was our first time at this hotel, we did have a little difficulty finding it as the trees and bushes etc were somewhat overgrown. A little pruning and sweeping of the outside area would help improve things considerably.
