Wow, wow, wow! What can I say about this trip! I decided to do this trip on a whim and I'm so glad I did! It was just what the doctor ordered. I went during the last week of the season, so the weather was warm enough to sit out in the sun during the day but not scorching. The views were GORGEOUS. But I have to say that the best thing about Seaside was the staff. I was traveling alone (which I am used to), but it was nice to have such a friendly and warm welcome! I felt very taken care of and seen -- and not just because I was paying to be there, but I was treated with genuine kindness. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and was a little sad to leave once my stay was over. The views are amazing, the food is delicious, I had a wonderful spa day there but what makes this place truly stand out are the people!

We had a really nice stay here and we really enjoyed the food and facilities. We arrived very late (1 am) but we still had a warm welcome and there was some food waiting for us as well which we really appreciated. The pools were nice with plenty of sunbeds and we also took advantage of the padel court and yoga sessions. The gym had the best view I've probably ever seen for a gym and a pool as well! The a la carte restaurants (Oceano and UMI) were very good too and made for a change from the main buffet. We had a late flight on our last day but we still could use all the hotel facilities even after checking out. The staff truly made our stay even better since everyone was really nice especially Alexandra and Marios at the main bar, the people at the Thalassa pool bar and Konstantina at the restaurant. We would definitely stay here again! You can get to a beach directly from the hotel which was really good but apart from that there is not much to see in the area so a car would be useful if you plan to leave the hotel.

Everything was really good, just minor things: - Most TV channels were not in English and couldn't cast to the TV (but didn't spend too much time in the room anyway) - Wifi was a bit slow sometimes - Fridge in the room was a bit noisy - Sun umbrellas definitely don't do enough to block the sun but this was fine in October

The staff are the best, most attentive, polite and helpful people you could ever hope to meet. They bend over backwards to accommodate requests and could not be more forthcoming in offering solutions or suggestions to meet your needs. Cannot fault the staff in any way whatsoever, they are the most wonderful people. The food in all the restaurants is fantastic, the buffet is varied and extensive for all meals, with staff constantly monitoring, topping up and replacing dishes. The a la carte restaurants are fantastic - Minoan is Cretan, Oceano is Mediterranean and Umi is Asian fusion. We tried all three and enjoyed them very much. The menus are relatively small but there are usually 2 x meat, 1 x fish or seafood and 1 x veggie option available. The views from all three restaurants are stunning. Plenty of places to lounge, sit, and relax through the day, be it in the sun or shade. Great selection of drinks included in the all inclusive package including wines, cocktails and soft drinks. Towels are available from 10.30am onwards.

Can’t think of anything which we didn’t enjoy. If you are planning to attend one of the special dining events just be sure to double check that your place is definitely confirmed - we had received and acknowledged our confirmation from the events/dining manager but unfortunately were missed off the list when the day came so although we showed up we were not admitted to attend the event. The team offered us a complimentary a la carte meal as compensation which we were very grateful for and they were extremely apologetic, they couldn’t have done more to make amends for the mistake and we were very grateful for both the resolution and how much they cared.

Fantastic experience and welcoming interaction from the guy and young lady who checked us in. First class service, great attention to details and awesome customer service skills. He should be recognized for his superb discernment and commitment by never judging his customers. The property was beautiful and as viewed online. We had live entertainment at night was was a plus. The view from our suite was breathtaking. Definitely recommend

The guy on the omlette station was a little unwelcoming this morning. I ordered 2 omletts this morning. one for myself and the other for my wife. However, he kept on saying just one now. I had to explain several times. He looked at me with contempt and was very displeased.

To begin with the SPA facility was wonderful, as well as the hairsalon, besides these the Japanese Restaurant was an extraordinary culinary experience. The lobster menu was a delicacy, but as a location, the view was out of this world and beautiful. We really appreciated the promptitude at which the personel responded to our requests, the personel was really kind and very professional. Their services were top of the line.

The cosmetics services were a bit disappointing. The cocktails served at the bar from the allinclusive menu.

I fell horribly sick the day we arrived at Seaside and the staff went out of their way to make sure I received prompt medical attention, following up ever so often - even sending over rice crackers and fruit. Basically what makes Seaside a resort that I will definitely return to is the attentiveness and friendliness of ALL the staff - whether at the front desk, the restaurants, housekeeping, spa, etc. Secondly, the food that was served not just at the main restaurant but at all the a la carte restaurants was PHENOMENAL! The range of cuisines was impressive, with a daily spread of Cretan specialties, which is excellent for those willing to leave their comfort zones to try out new cuisines. The resort itself is tastefully designed, with several levels of pools complete with comfortable sun loungers and cabanas. There are even decks built on the rocky coast with sun loungers and umbrellas, with nothing coming between you and the brilliant blue Aegean Sea. The pool bars offer soft drinks, cocktails, hot beverages and snacks throughout the day. We splurged on an all-inclusive package and frankly it is ALL-inclusive! Our room was a sea-facing suite with a comfortable bed and sofas that also double up as single beds. Housekeeping came daily to replenish our drinking water as well as shower and bath essentials. WiFi connection was also good but since we were on an "offline" break - I can't say much otherwise. Wrapping all this up is the fact this Seaside has scored an all-round sea-facing property where all you see are Greece's blue skies and waters, with amazing sunrises and sunsets that make amazing photos without filters! If the GM of Seaside is reading this, my special thanks go to Anna, Lucia and Manos (at the reception), Stella (at the main restaurant), David (at Umi) and everyone else who made our stay so memorable. Seaside is to date the best European beach resort I've visited in all my time in Europe. Thank you!

While this would require literal "structural change" and may not be a problem for most people, the layout of our suite was such that the bedroom was in the loft but we needed to always come down to go to the bathroom. For light sleepers that would mean being forced to be "awake enough" to especially come down the stairs. I have no idea what the layout of the other rooms is like but if there are future plans for renovation or expansion, this might be something to consider. That bathrooms (i.e toilets) are not that far from beds.

The Hotel is a real 5 stars, with extraordinary facilities! Since we arrived, they welcomed us with champagne and offered us the access to all the facilities even if the room wasn’t yet ready (arrived around 11 am). We had a sea view room with astonishing views, extremely clean and very beautiful style. The hotel is amazing, situated on the edge of a cliff, very nice architecture, modern look but classy at the same time. They also have access to a beach (the water is very clean). The food is very good! Very tasty and diverse, amazing sweets, and there are also the a la carte restaurants. Also the drinks are very good (imported, not local), bartenders are professionals, high quality products, from coffee to spirits or cocktails. The Staff is also professional, everyone is kind, polite, well trained and they really do their best to make you happy. The pools are great, with clear salted water, and bars around. I can say it’s the best hotel we’ve been in the whole Greece (not only Crete), and we saw more than 10 5 stars hotels in Greece till now. There is nothing I didn’t like, this is a truly 5 stars! 10 of 10 from me, and will come again for sure!

Food was fantastic. Views were stunning. Staff were the most friendly and helpful we have ever encountered. Plenty of sunbeds and lovely little beach within walking distance down from the pool bar. A week stay included a visit to the Al a Carte restaurants which were brilliant too. Cappuccino at the pool bars was brilliant. A great holiday.

Can’t think of anything. There are a lot of steps but if you have difficulty they have a lot of buggies to collect guests if needed.

From the moment we got to Seaside Resort we were greeted by the most friendly staff, to the guys minding our bags to the ladies in reception, we couldn't have asked for a warmer and simpler check in process. We arrived early on our check in day and was kindly offered if we would like to avail of the buffet breakfast, this was not expected as we were arriving so early. We also got kindly upgraded to a fantastic room. The view from our room was nothing short of spectacular. We were only able to stay at the resort for two nights but we would love to return for a longer stay in the future! The food was very good with a good selection as the buffet. I didn't realise that the a la carte menus were an extra cost however I believe you are entitled to a meal if you stay seven nights. We did eat in one of the A La Carte Menus on one of our nights and it was really nice and the views are fantastic. We also need to mention the Gym Facilities, they are truly fantastic and the trainer was so friendly and accommodating! We also visited the spa for a massage on our stay which again was fabulous. We will definitely be back and will recommend to other friends visiting Crete

We were upgraded to a rock suite and everything about it was superb. The view, the pool, the ribs, the bed, the bathroom, the air con, the arc, the coffee machine, the mini fridge and bar, just EVERYTHING

The toilet cubicle could have been a little bit bigger but wasn’t a huge problem.
