The towels have been refreshed daily. * Relatively silent neighbourhood comparing to the other central places close to restaurants and amenities. * Very close to the restaurants and a Shop & Go market. * Staff is following up arrival and departure kindly.

* Very small issues: The bathroom door of the first room next to the kitchen is rubbing the floor. The junction of wood flooring and ceramic flooring in the same room is damaged because of the water. Both doesn’t cause a serious discomfort just adding a note for the property managers.

We had a truly wonderful stay. The location was perfect—​nestled in a peaceful neighborhood that offered a genuine Athenian experience, yet conveniently close to all the major sights. Being just a short walk from the Thissio metro station made exploring the city incredibly easy.​ What we loved most was the balance this area provided. Unlike the bustling tourist hubs like Plaka, our neighbourhood was serene and authentic, allowing us to enjoy local cafes, charming streets, and beautiful views without the crowds. We especially appreciated the proximity to the Ancient Agora and the Temple of Hephaestus, which added a touch of historical magic to our daily walks.​ The apartment itself was clean, well-equipped, and genuinely comfortable. We felt cared for — everything we needed was in place, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We did have a small accident and broke a glass (apologies again!), but we hope this wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. All in all, it was a sweet and memorable stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Aionion Residences to others — especially those who want to experience Athens not just as visitors, but as thoughtful guests of the city.

There wasn’t much we didn’t like — the space is lovely, well-equipped, and the cleaning service was appreciated. If anything, it might be helpful to provide a few more tools for guests to manage small clean-ups between services. For example, something simple like a broom, mop, or cloth to help with occasional water overflow from the shower would be great. Just small touches like that would make it even easier to care for the space during a longer stay.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this very nice, clean, and comfortable 2-bedroom apartment in Athens. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the Acropolis and other major attractions, including a charming summer cinema. The apartment is well-furnished making it feel like a home away from home. It’s perfect for a family stay, with everything you need for a comfortable visit. The area felt safe and lively, with shops and restaurants nearby. We especially appreciated the cleanliness and overall atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Athens on foot!

Pros • Amazing communication from staff: The team was friendly, responsive, and made check-in and any questions a breeze. • Awesome location: Perfectly situated next to great bars, restaurants, and just a short walk to the metro and major tourist attractions. The area itself is vibrant and full of life. • Very clean: The room was spotless upon arrival and well-maintained throughout the stay. • Wonderful shower: Strong water pressure and modern fixtures made for a refreshing experience. • Small kitchen area: Handy for quick meals or snacks, with just enough space to be functional. • Nice sheets: The bedding was soft and comfortable, adding to a pleasant night’s sleep.

Cons • Small bed: Cozy for one, but a tight squeeze for two adults—might not be ideal for couples. • Loud: Located next to the laundry room and lobby, so there’s a fair bit of noise throughout the day and evening. • Key situation is inconvenient: Only one key is provided, and it locks from the outside, which means one person can end up locked inside if the other leaves.

We had a wonderful stay at Aionion Residence in Athens! Stella was incredibly helpful, always quick to respond and made everything super smooth for us. Check-in and check-out were easy and hassle-free. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made it feel like a home away from home. The luggage storage option was a big plus, especially since our flight was in the evening. It gave us more time to explore Athens without any stress. Location was close to nice cafes, grocery stores, restaurants and attractions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient and cozy stay in the heart of the city! 🏛️✨

However, there are a few things that could be improved for future guests: The bathroom was a little dim; some extra lighting would make a big difference. The flooring just outside the bathroom was a bit damaged, likely from water coming out after showers. While the bed was large and comfy, both my child and I woke up with a few itchy bumps. We’re not sure if it was due to mosquitoes or possibly bed bugs. Something worth checking. Our unit was on the ground floor, and while we loved the glass wall design, it felt a bit exposed at night unless the blinds were fully closed. Despite these small issues, we still had a pleasant stay and appreciated the helpful service and amenities provided.

Overall, the hotel was a good choice. However, while travelling from the airport by metro, I got robbed on tbe train just before I got out at Thissio. They employed a trick on me. (Doors did not open and 2 guys "helped" me get out by pulling the doors. But in the meantime, a third one stole my wallet.) I didn't know that trains could be so dangerous in Athens. Apparently, locals are all well-aware of this fact, as no one was surprised whomever I told what happened. So be careful if you travel by metro. Of course, this has nothing to do with the hotel. But because of this robbery, we were late for check-in. The receptionist could be more kind when she learned what happened on phone. But thanks anyway for keeping our luggage for couple of hours after check-out. This favour allowed us to walk around Acropolis comfortably.

The unit was excellent. It had everything and the location was perfect. Close to everything yet quiet with a neighborhood atmosphere. The staff is amazing and the cleanliness is very high. The unit has everything you need for a business trip, vacation, or any other purpose.

In the specific unit we were in, the shower head did not work properly and there is room to think about making shower stalls that are closed so that the bathroom does not fill with water. The WIFI in parts of the unit did not work properly and it should be improved

After carefully considering many options and neighborhoods, we definitely made the right choice for our stay in Athens. At Aionion everything was perfect - the apartment is beautifully designed, with attention to details and a great comfortable bed. The building has an awesome rooftop with Acropolis view, just perfect to unwind after a long day. The location quiet and ultra central, in Thissio neighborhood is PERFECT! 1 minute away from a market, a pharmacy, a beautiful street with taverns and cafes, 2 minute from a park… and very close, walkable distances to almost all main attraction from the city center. Also, 2-3 minute from a train line that goes directly to Piraeus port, if you want to continue your greek adventure to the islands, like we did. Our host, Malina, was super nice and gave us great recommendations for taverns and everything else we needed. We enjoyed our time in Athens and we will hopefully come back soon!

Everything was top notch!

Excellent location in the center of Athens steps away from the main walking path around the Acropolis and Agora. Easily accessible 15 minutes walking to Acropolis entrance and 5 minutes to Thiseio Metro station. Plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby, many with wonderful views of the Acropolis. Residences are apartment style, with kitchen and living space in all the rooms. Very clean and check in was easy and the hosts accommodated our check in time. Plenty of free parking on the street in the area. All guests have access to the building's rooftop which has tables/chairs and a fantastic view of the Acropolis!

Location is brilliant: in the heart of city center and all attractions are short walks from hotel. Plaka and Monestraki are minutes away on foot. Very safe neighborhood with tons of great restaurants and shops. Service by Stella the hotel manager is genius. She is super fast, super supportive and super resourceful. She communicated with me even a week before I arrived through whats app and she kept actively connected throughout my stay. She organized everything for me and my family and she was always ready with super fast replies and actions. Very impressive service by Stella, she is a great asset. Beds were very comfy and room gets cleaned daily.

Maybe just the toilet is too small and shower has no door which gets the whole toilet messy immediately during showering but the shower itself is amazing with strong pressure of water and consistently warm water. Also probably need more room to store luggage/clothes if you are a family, but its more than enough for a party of 2. Other than that I had no dislikes at all.
