I stayed for several days. The bed was very comfortable, was able to sleep well and detected no noises from street or hallway. The WC was clean and had good fixtures. My room was particularly small, however, I had a huge balcony which was ideal for enjoying the spring weather. Mount Lycabettus was within view. Days later I was on Crete and I realized I had accidentally left behind clothing and a tripod. I called Areos from Crete asking if they had the items. Sure enough, they did and they kept them safe for me until I picked them up over a week later. That was wonderful and much appreciated. This location was very convenient for attending the School of Greek Language and Culture-- just a 5 min walk.

I do wish Areos would open up their bar. I did miss the opportunities to connect with other travelers.

Good room and hotel well located, nice neighborhood. When we finally met somone from the staff, he was very helpful.

Most of the time there was nobody there from hotel staff. When we got there everything was locked and it took two attempts by phone to get in. We got no messages on booking but I later saw they had sent a whatsapp message with instructions. They should have used booking. There was a fancy hotel nearby with a very noisy rooftop bar which was annoying. Probably for the whole neighborhood!

Huge private terrace with great views and good for chilling out. Comfortable bed. More of a residential neighborhood. Transport links. Good bakers and cafes nearby for breakfast. Good restaurants and bars in Exarcheia and around Biktoria.

The bath tub with a hand held shower was inconvenient when you just want a shower. As some people have said, the Radisson nearby occasionally has roof-top parties - they don't tell Areos when.

The Aeros hotel is comfortable and well equipped although the rooms are not very large. The staff is helpful and friendly. Special thanks to the room cleaning staff who work hard and make every possible action to improve your stay (cleaning the room at the moment you prefer, reducing noise to avoid nuisance, etc.)

The reception desk is staffed at reduced daily hours and for the rest of the time, new clients remain stuck outside at the entrance door or are assisted at their arrival by already residing clients. This happened several time during my stay.

We always stay at Areos when we visit Athens. The hotel is very close to the National Archaeological Museum. It is also very handy for a number of good restaurants and bars around, the once troubled but now in the process of gentrification, Plateia Exarcheion area.

Reception is only staffed for a few hours a day requiring you to use key code for the front door if you’re checking in at the hotel in the evening.

The room is clean, comfortable, and quiet. It is in a perfect location, especially for those who are planning to go to Sounion for sunset at the Temple of Poseidon. The bus stop is 2 minutes away by walk. Easily buy drinks on the basement floor. Food deliveries provided by nearby restaurants are also convenient during the day.

The Wi-Fi is just so-so, but that should probably be a regional problem since I did not get flexible internet access in Athens and also Santorini...

The location was central. I was advised by a local in places to avoid and so we booked a place at Areos last minute and I’m glad we did. The security and layout was amazing. Our rooms were tidied properly with fresh towels, shower gel, body lotion, toothbrush and paste! I thought that was so kind and thoughtful seeing as we forgot to bring our own toothpaste. It wasn’t a hassle for the first night/morning. The guy at the reception was so kind to give directions on where to go eat and even offer us compatible adaptors to charge. It was a short stay but pleasant.

Nothing.

The room was smaller than we expected, but very clean. The staff were very helpful. We had tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. Great bakery, park and museum nearby.

There was no breakfast available, but the nearby bakery was fantastic. The bathroom was very dark. No 24 hr reception. Notification about entry was sent near arrival when I did not have access to mobile phone data.

This boutique hotel is in a great location. The addition of balconies is a real bonus. In top of all that, the staff is so accommodating with information & suggestions. They remember you from visits the year before and really care about your experience.

The coffee machine! The hotel no longer offers breakfast which is fine but coffee is a must and the machine offers many choices including hot chocolate- the mixture is awful for all. A better quality machine or fresh brewed at least available in the morning would be nice.

Location great 10mins walk from Victoria metro, 10 mins from bakeries, supermarket, lovely restaurants. Harris was friendly, very helpful and interested in what we we doing each day. No problem to give you a kettle to use in your room. There is a coffee vending machine in the lobby and a vending machine with some snacks and rolls. The main tourist are of Monastiraki was 2 metro stops away. Lovely Areos park was just across the street.

Internet was not good. The cable was being upgraded close by so it was pretty much unusable. Just check when you book if the upgrade has been completed.
