It is difficult to beat this hostel. Great location (short walking distance from Syntagma Square), outstanding customer service and rich breakfast. The room had air-conditioning and a comfy bed. Toilets and showers clean. I had an issue with my flight and the reception replied promptly to my messages offering another date without adding any fee. I am very grateful.

I have no complaints at all. Maybe I would only add an extra hanger hooks on the wall in the toilets for the towels, as I do not remember having seen many, but that's just a detail! The hostel is really good as it is.

I was lucky to share with a lovely couple of ladies. The hostel is so central to the old city and all the sites and amazing value for money. It was very clean with a great buffet breakfast. Lots of people of all ages and nationalities were staying there. It's a good way to meet people if travelling solo. The bed was comfortable, the shower great. It is well lit up at night in the street so I felt safe coming back later in the evening alone. Nadia on reception was always helpful. I was not feeling so great on my last day and I had to travel onwards that evening. They let me stay in my room and bed until I had to leave at around 5pm, without extra charge or having to move rooms, which was really kind and considerate of them. Thank you. It was a godsend as I recovered enough to travel without incident. 🙏🏽

This is definitely not a dislike , more a suggestion... It would be helpful to have a small lock box for each bed in the room to store valuables etc. and a mirror over the sink in the room please.

The receptionist Mr. Alex is not only very kind but he is so exceptional, considerate and helpful, really one of a kind, he allowed me to stay in their garden while passing time- waiting to go to the airport and not only that he even offered to help me go to the metro or bus station so I can save from taxi fare by taking public transport - he helped me took my luggage to the bus stop near the Parliament, I was so happy haven't had experienced somebody helping me like that, a big salute and thank you Mr. ALEX, may God Bless you in return for your kindness. 🥰

The hostel doesn't have elevator and not sound proof, there is a small wash basin inside the room but no mirror, but everything is manageable.

I liked the great value for the price, the breakfast with plenty of options when you arrive early, and the friendly staff who even allowed an early check-in at no extra fee. The hostel is very close to attractions like the Acropolis Museum, and I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. The interior, while not very new, was still clean, which added to the overall positive experience.

What I didn’t like was that there was only one bathroom with two toilets for several rooms, which could be inconvenient during busier times. Additionally, the slightly older interior might not appeal to everyone. However, these issues were minor since it wasn’t busy during my stay, and they didn’t overshadow the overall positive aspects of the hostel.

We received a warm welcome into this old building set in a quiet side street in the Plaka district, just a 5-minute walk from Syntagma metro station. Our large, high-ceilinged room had one bunk and two singles, sockets for all, and a small washbasin and mirror in the corner. The old, shuttered wooden doors led to a small balcony overlooking the street and an office building opposite. The beds were super comfortable but the blankets were quite thin for the December air, so we had to sleep with the air-con set to 'heat' - which was fine, though not ideal for the environment. There was a shared lockable shower-and-toilet room, a separate lockable toilet, and an unlockable area with a frosted-glass shower cubicle. Modernly decorated and clean, but I imagine not enough facilities for a busy period. The highlight for us after a tiring day exploring the city was the communal room at the end of the tiled courtyard/garden area- a long table with benches for meals, and a living area with rug and woodstove and a giant TV screen connected to Netflix. Boardgames, books and a friendly local cat added to the cozy vibe. Breakfast was packed croissants, fresh fruit, cereals, boiled eggs, simple sandwich ingredients, and coffee and tea. Get there early or you'll lose out, as they serve the bare minimum for guests and the milk goes fast! The old town highlights were just minutes away. Big lockers are available for just 2 EUR (unlimited time). Overall- an excellent place to stay for those on a budget wanting to get a feel for old Athens and who aren't fussy about shared bathrooms and the like. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This was a very nice guesthouse in Athens old town, right beside Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch and the Acropolis. The breakfast was included and had some great options. Staff were professional.

I got great value in the winter season. If you stay in the peak season one will have to pay that bit extra. Athens could.be chilly in the morning if you go like me off-season.

Incredible staff, Starting with Alex, all really helpful friendly and accommodating. Incredible location, 5 min walk from the Acropolis, 10 min walk from Syntagma train station, 10/12 direct walk to min Monastiraki. Unbeatable lodging price Clean and comfortable accommodation, with storage lockers, nice outdoor dining area, and delicious complementary breakfast.

The hostel is very well located, in Plaka, very close to the Acropolis, museums, restaurants and bars. Breakfast was simple but good enough. The hostel is clean and has good WiFi.

The bathroom is very small and one of the showers at the main floor has no privacy, just a glass door in the middle of the rooms hall. Also, one of the receptionists is not friendly at all. She did my check in when we arrived at night. I stayed at the hotel 3 nights but every time she saw me during my stay she stopped me to ask who I was, in which room I was staying and request to see my passport in a very unpleasant way.

The location, price, and staff. The best value in Athens. The lady at the front desk and the housekeeper went out of their way to help us with laundry and directions. The area is also extremely safe at all hours of the day. There are plenty of cheap places to eat near there as well. Also, if arrive by train, just take the subway. The hotel is between two stops. The subway is safe, and the taxis are expensive. So easy.

Excellent location a stone's throw from restaurants and shops in the old center of Athens. The breakfast is decent in terms of variety, of an acceptable quality, but you have to be there no later than 9 o'clock if you want to find everything it can offer if the hotel is full. The receptionist is kind and very proactive in solving any problem that may arise. A plus is the garden behind the hotel with tables and chairs where residents can socialize.
