I recently stayed at Hotel @ Syngrou Fix for 4 nights and had a fantastic experience! Here's why I highly recommend it: Location, Location, Location! This hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Athens. It's close to the charming Plaka neighborhood, with its vibrant shops and restaurants. Plus, the subway station is just steps away, making it easy to get around the city. All the major attractions are within easy reach – a huge plus for sightseeing! Cleanliness & Comfort: The room was cleaned every single day, which made a big difference in feeling comfortable and refreshed during my stay. The beds were comfy, and the overall atmosphere was clean and well-maintained. Friendly & Helpful Staff: The receptionists were fantastic! Friendly, helpful, and always happy to answer my questions. They really made me feel welcome. Delicious Breakfast: Starting the day with a delicious breakfast buffet was a real treat. There was a good variety of options to choose from, including fresh pastries, fruit, yogurt, and hot items. It fueled me up perfectly for exploring the city. Hotel @ Syngrou Fix exceeded my expectations! The combination of a perfect location, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast makes it a great choice for any traveler visiting Athens. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for a week and had a room with a balcony view on the 5th floor overlooking Syngrou Fix road. The road itself is very busy but when the balcony doors are closed, the noise is fairly drowned out. The hotel staff are friendly and the hotel itself is clean. Breakfast is good with a variety of options but if you need stronger coffee, out the door to the left and you'll find 2 coffee shops. The rooftop was my favorite- it gives you a view of the Acropolis and you can see as far as the ocean. The location was great! We were around the locals but just a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis and Plaka. The metro was a block down and the bus stop was across the street. If you are planning on renting a car like we did, there is a parking garage across the street that costs 8 euros per day. Great local restaurants with great prices a block down, supermarket close by, and a bank with outside ATM as well in case you need to grab some euros instead of going to an exchange place. Syngrou Fix is very lit up and usually bustling with people so you won't feel unsafe walking from the ruins back to the hotel during the day or at night. We enjoyed our stay here, enjoyed the proximity to all the sites but also the distance from the tourist chaos.

The location within a 10min walk to the Acropolis is hard to beat. No views from any room (we didn't expect one) but make a point to check out the view at night from the roof ! Also very impressed with the breakfast: lots of variety (more than expected), quality was great (better than expected particularly given so many options!) Despite less-than-perfect start, enjoyed the rest of our stay and would recommend as a great value for a very convenient location.

The only unfortunate start we had to our stay was that we arrived early and were told we could come back at noon and our room would be available. Came back after 1pm and room still wasn't available and instead of an apology, the response was "Check-in is supposed to be 3pm" which we would have been ok with as an initial response that morning. Staff was very friendly throughout which helped a lot but I hope they can focus some attention on making sure they follow through on the commitments they make else it can feel like lip-service instead of customer service.

Everything was great. Fantastic breakfast. Great location very close to the main attractions. I am very happy with the choice of this hotel during my trip to Athens.

We liked this hotel's cleanliness, staff, and location. It's an easy walk to the Acropolis and an abundance of amazing restaurants. They're own food is amazing as well. The breakfast was full of savory to sweet selections, with fresh fruits and vegetables as well as juice and coffee options. An overall great place to stay.

The only thing I think could be improved upon would be to put fans in the rooms to help distribute the cold air from the a.c. The vents are immediately above your head when you enter your room, and only angle toward or away from the door.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, making it convenient to explore the surrounding attractions. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to assist, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere throughout the stay. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for a comfortable and enjoyable visit.

This hotel is close to a main road, which can make it a bit noisy, especially at night. If you’re a light sleeper or prefer a quieter environment, this might be something to consider when booking.

The hotel is located in a very convenient place. Almost all historical monuments and the shopping street with restaurants are within a walking distance from the hotel. Very close to metro, tram or bus stations. Easy to reach from the airport. We chose an upper room with sauna and a terrace. The terrace is well equipped with coffee table, sofa, dining table and chairs and almost as spatious as the room. There were even candles! The breakfast was copious and varied. And there was a fridge in the room!

It's not what we didn't like, but the hotel is on a very busy street and even with some sound proofing the room is quite noisy day and night. We were ready to get along with the noise to be located in the center. If calm and quiet is your priority, you must bear in mind the traffic never stops in Athens. Twice there was no hot water in the shower in the morning. Also I wonder why such a hot country as Greece put such thick blankets in the room. The room temperature was +22. Very optimal but under the blanket is seemed like in the heat of summer canicule instead of late autumn. I finally opted to cover myself with a shower towel.

Very convenient location, and the hotel staff are super friendly. Since I flew with a budget flight from Athens to Santorini and didn't plan to stay withoHotel @ Syngroux Fix until when I'm back from Santorini, they kindly accepted my luggage before I leave for Santorini, so I can travel lightly. Also, I think it's a very good price for the stay with the complimentary breakfast! And the breakfast has quite a bit of variety and starts pretty early at 7am!

The hairdryer is one of those old style ones that are attached to the bathroom's wall.. and mine actually failed working during the last night of my stay. BUT! the staff were super helpful and offered me to dry my hair in another room where the dryer is working when it's super late at night already (11pm). I'm very thankful for their help!

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The breakfast was excellent, with many options of salads, pastries and cooked items. The location was very convenient. The hotel is very close to the metro station as well as to several bus stops, while also being close to shops, restaurants and touristic areas of interest. The staff were very friendly and, for example, replaced our room card for no charge after it was stolen.

There was a drainage issue in the bath and a general sewage smell from the bathroom that persisted for the whole week. Although it was cleaned every day, there were still some ants in the room. The balcony overlooked a busy main road, so it was not so pleasant to use.
