I’ve stayed there many times. The rooms are great but in some rooms there are some issues with the bathrooms and the air conditioning. It’s needs maintenance. Unfortunately I can stay there any longer because I have asthma and they use a strong spray to freshen up the rooms. But regardless all that. All people that work there are absolutely fabulous. I personally want to thank Marios who went above and beyond to help me stay in the room and feel comfortable with my asthma. He even offered, and always with a smile, to try to ventilate the room so I could stay despite my asthma. Also he made the entire experience heartwarming even though it wasn’t easy for me. I CANNOT THANK HIM ENOUGH!

Too much air freshener. People with asthma or allergies cannot stay there. Some rooms don’t have sufficient light especially on the ground floor. Even at night the lighting in the bathroom was so low that it wasn’t easy to shower.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a stylish loft-inspired design that gave it a modern and cozy feel. One of the highlights was definitely the view from the room — it was absolutely stunning. The included breakfast was perfect, offering a great selection to start the day right. The staff truly stood out with their kindness and helpful attitude, making our stay even more enjoyable.

There were a few downsides. The hotel is located quite far from the city center, which made transportation a bit difficult. Catching a bus was sometimes problematic, and taxi drivers were often reluctant to come due to the distance. In terms of cleanliness, the general condition of the room was good, but there were some overlooked details — the shelves near the bed, the main table, the sink stand, and the wardrobe all had some noticeable dirt or stains. Also, during our 2-night stay, no one came to change the towels or bed sheets. This might have been due to a national holiday in Greece, but I hope it’s not the case during regular days.

As someone who hops from one hotel to another like 50 times a year, I can't sing enough praises for this place. Brace yourselves for a delightful stay because this property is downright spectacular! The value for money is so good, you'll feel like you swindled them. The rooms are so spacious you might consider starting a yoga course. The décor is beautiful mix of zen, industrial and chic—like a stylish monk decided to open a boutique hotel. The staff? They're basically your long-lost best friends, warm and welcoming like a cup of cocoa. The location is so close to the metro, you can reach any part of the city in minutes. But wait, there's more! The breakfast is so extraordinary, it defies earthly descriptions. I will gladly stay here again and again.

I am gonna start with the staff. We got welcomed by an very friendly man that gave us all needed information about how the hotel works and thoroughly informed us about our room too! He was kind, professional and very friendly, really a warm welcome! The room was clean and modern, very spacious also. We really enjoyed the AC since Athens is way too hot and having a cold room was lovely. Breakfast was good too, small amount of options but they were all great! We loved the omelet it was lovely, the staff was friendly there too and offered us assistance and coffee. All in all a wonderful stay!

I would like to point out some things. The area is not very safe in the night, walking from the metro station to the hotel was scary. We saw some people doing strange things and generally it felt quite unsafe. The room has a small issue with privacy, The balcony was right next to an apartment building and we saw the people living there just staying in their balcony (where they had full view in our room). Don't get me wrong, there were blinds, but both during the day and night we had to use them because they could easily see inside our room.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Everything was very modern and new, and the room was nice and big. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast offering was excellent. The breakfast is also served on the 4th floor with a balcony area and a beautiful view of the sunrise, which was a great extra touch.

The only thing that caused a small amount of stress for me was that the front desk is not open until 9 AM, and as I was travelling for business I needed to check out and get an invoice before leaving. My next meeting was at 9:30 so I was a little worried about making it on time (it all worked out in the end), but in future I will aim to avoid this by asking for the invoice earlier, and I don't think this is the hotel's fault in any way.

The hotel was clean and has beautiful aesthetics.They cleaned every second day and that was comfortable for us.The hotel staff was amazing Cici and Marios (forgive my spellings) were super kind to us the chefs too.The breakfast was great honestly i would come there again

They could do better with breakfast starting at least at 7:00 considering people with early long flights and early mornings whilst in Athens.The drainage system is the shower could be better.

The staff was absolutely great and especially helpful. Shout out to (Super) Mario. The breakfast is terrific. The hotel is very clean and not too distant from the metro with an outstanding bakery between the metro station and the hotel. The room, bathroom and hotel in general is very clean.

It's a bit outside the city, but Mario explained evert detail of the subway system, and after one day we had no problems getting to where we wanted to go without issue.

Lovely and beautiful hotel in a pretty quiet area. The breakfast was fantastic in a beautiful café with a spectacular view. My partner and I really like the spatial design and Alekos Fassianos artworks. The staff is very friendly and always happy to help. A really great bonus is an air condition system. During the super hot weather, it's so great to come back to the Newel Psychiko, it's like an island in heaven!

The hotel in general is super modern and looks very stylish, but some details, like the lighting system, are a bit dark. It's difficult to do makeup in a bathroom with such light. And also, there was not a lot of space around the sink where you can put your personal stuff or just hang face towels. But it didn't really affect the overall impression. We stayed in a Deluxe Double on the 3rd floor. Spacious room with a comfortable bed (there were extra pillows in the closet) and a fully equipped kitchen. Even though it’s a small hotel (don’t think it’s more than 25 rooms), the breakfast has a very good selection of delicious options. The hotel is a 7 minute walk from the “Katechaki” metro station, 5 stops from the center of Athens, in a quiet neighborhood. And there are quite a few restaurants, cafes and bakeries near by.

The staff at the hotel are extremely kind, helpful and compassionate. All the staff went out of their way to assist me whilst my wife was in hospital, especially when I had to extend my stay several times. There was never an issue with the change of plans and I was able to remain in the same room through out my stay at the hotel. They are also knowledgeable about the local area and helped with options for places to eat. The hotel is close to bus routes and the metro for easy travel into central Athens and the airport. The breakfast was great and had lots of different options including Greek pastries as well as a hot section and cereal. I would definitely return to stay here again when I am next in Athens and would highly recommend the hotel.
