We spent a few days in Athens and we absolutely loved this area. If you are not so keen on being surrounded by thousands of tourists all the time then this is for you. Amazing restaurants and bars within walking distance that is mostly for locals not tourist traps, vibey and alive at night and quiet during the day. Still central enough to easily get to the touristy areas (walked to Acropolis, short train to museum of archaeology). The room was small but comfortable, all we needed for a few days exploring Athens.

One minor thing - nowhere to comfortably hang towels after use.

The location was very close to the local metro (Green Line). On the same street, you can find places to enjoy lunch, dinner, and coffee. There are mini-markets nearby to get anything you may need. The pictures showed the room accurately. Quite enough space for two or more people in there. The bathroom and shower were also comfortable. 24/7 you can enjoy hot water and the internet is fast enough for someone who wishes to take care of some business while in the area. Not much noise in the area during the night.

It might be a personal peculiarity but I think the rooms could use blackout curtains since during the sunrise or the day the room is quite well-lit by the natural light.

The room was big enough for two people and very clean upon arrival. The host was gracious enough to let us drop off our bags early while cleaning was completed. The host also provided a nice list of places in the neighborhood. Lastly, the neighborhood is great. It is much quieter and friendlier than the main tourist area. We would certainly stay here again.

The apartment was fine. No complaints there. If I had to pick something, some visitors might not like the distance (20-30 mins walking) from the central tourist area. Close to metro though. However, I enjoyed it much more, as it felt like staying in "real" Athens more than a tourist area.

The apartment has been recently renovated and is very nice. It is a convenient walk to local cafes and a short taxi ride to the main sites. The place looked just like the photos.

The phone number provided by booking.com was for the owner in another country, so when our driver wasn't at the pickup site, I tried calling numerous times with failed attempts. We gave up and got a taxi, and about five minutes into the ride, I received a text from the property manager asking where we were. This was just a miscommunication and the number on the booking confirmation needs to be updated.

The location is simply fantastic – vivid neighborhood, great gyros place close by, easy to park the car, 10 min walk to Acropolis – this is why we came back this year to the same appartment. It is a perfect place if you want to feel the city vibrant life and not being overwhelmed by it. The appartment is really nice, very clean, great to sleep.

We only missed a normal coffee pot but we managed to prepare the coffee even with the one in the appartment :).

The location is perfect - it is very close to Acropolis (15-20min walking) and the neighborhood is very quiet, nice and safe. As we came by car we had no problems finding parking very close to the appartments. The appartment was very nice, clean, great view, perfect for a short stay. There is also a super gyros place very close, and a supermarket, bakery... so we were really happy that everything is walking distance. Also getting to the appartment, communicating with the owners... - everything was running smoothly, they were were helpful and fast in responding. We are looking forward to coming back.

As we were a group of 5, we lack some chairs in the appartment (there were only 2 at dinning bench).

The location is fantastic, being close to the metro and bus stops was perfect for us as we were not traveling by car. It is also close to landmarks and not that far away from the centre. The apartment was comfortable and well-maintained, with everything we needed. The host was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and giving us excellent recommendations. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We had the Calliope apartement of the Troon of Athens house. This is a very nice, clean and beautiful place; very nice wooden floor, good beds and bathroom, nice artwork on the walls, uncommon furniture. Two balconies, very nice to have breakfast with view on Troon Str. But above all: Troon 58 is perfectly situated to explore Athens. Ano Petralona is a quiet yet central neighbourhood. Everything needed is close: very good bakery, organic food shop, supermarket, excellent restaurants are all wirthin a 100m distance. The best view on Athens (besides Lykabettos) is on the Pnyx/Muses/Nymph Hills, just a couple of minutes away. For those not afraid of walking, the main Athens attractions can all be reached by foot, even the National Archaeological Museum (about 40min), and one will always walk through the interesting parts of Athens. Fully recommended.

Very, very incomfortable high chairs on the dining table!

Located in a cute neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and groceries nearby. The apartment was clean, and although it was smaller, the layout was used effectively. The shower was really nice and the decor was cute. We didn’t use the kitchen, but having a fridge and a working AC was nice. The balcony was a nice edition and we ate baclava from a local patisserie on the balcony one night. It’s located close to the metro which allowed for easy movement throughout the city. We felt safe with the double locking system.

The beds were not the comfiest but they were suitable for two nights. There were only a few other people staying there so it didn’t cause too much of an issue, but the one time people were walking through the hallway it was very loud in our apartment.

The apartment was small but very nice studio that had everything we needed. It was conveniently set up as well, so although small, it didn’t leave you feeling crowded. The location was absolutely superb with everything at hand (nice restaurants, bars, grocery shops, train/metro station). We basically did not need to take public transport as everything was at a walking distance.
