We had a great stay at the Sun Ray. The staff are very friendly and quick responding to emails. The place is very clean and on the way to both Chania and beaches of the West Coast. We were positively surprised with the welcoming raki, a bottle of wine and cold drinks waiting for us in the fridge. The swimming pool is cleaned every day and outside shower and toilet are a great addition. Beds are very comfy, and the kitchen has all the amenities you need. We stayed in the apartment with a jacuzzi and hammam shower so everyone in our group was happy and busy whilst not on the road. The apartment was cleaned every day and bed sheets and towels were changed during our week long stay. We recommend this place and for sure will come back when we are back in Crete. Thank you Eva and the team, for making our stay unforgettable.

We should have stayed longer...

The hotel , staff and facilities were outstanding. We loved our stay in Sun Ray and will most definitely be returning back. The hotel is located in a very good location, close to bars and restaurants and also very close to the beach ( literally across the road with a view of the beach from the balcony) however it was still extremely peaceful and we enjoyed our night time in the jacuzzi looking towards the beautiful Cretan sea. The pool is lovely and there are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas to rest , soak in the sunshine and relax. The beds are extremely comfortable and the design of the place is lovely and modern , you can tell the owners have put love and care in offering the best possible accommodation.

Everything was fantastic I have nothing negative to say about our stay though an extra air conditioning unit in the living room would be ideal as we used it as a bedroom and it got slightly warm during the night.

The property was lovely. Everything was tastefully furnished with thought. Kept extremely clean and so well cared for. It was spacious and contained all that was needed. The location was good, near to be beach and lots of restaurants and shops. Although close to the main road it was still quiet. ALL of team were lovely and very helpful. Any issues/queries were dealt with efficiently! Car parking available too.

Everything was in accordance with the description of the facility and the photos provided. The facility and apartment are tastefully decorated. Everywhere is clean and fragrant. For us, the facility was a great base for visiting nearby attractions in this part of the island (1-2 hours by car). Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy the jacuzzi or the swimming pool due to our busy sightseeing schedule, maybe next time we'll make it ;) With all my heart, a place worth recommending not only for the above-mentioned things, but also for the lovely people who run the facility. The location was perfect. The staff and the store below, which belongs to the owner of the hotel, were all fantastic and very helpful whenever we needed assistance. Our apartment was cleaned daily, and even the dishes were washed each time. All in all, we had a fantastic stay.

There was nothing we didn't like, but if I had to mention one thing that wasn't perfect, it would be the shower head, which was impossible to keep on one level; it kept sliding down. Otherwise, we can't complain about anything. 😊

Everything. There is nothing that we didn’t like about the accomodation, and would definitely book again! Room was extremely spacious with two separate bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen including washing machine and cooking facilities. Bathroom and shower were fantastic and modern. We loved the proximity to Chania beaches and bus stop to Old Town Chania is 20m away. Parking was easily available. Swimming pool facilities are awesome, and the property feels very homely. Didn’t want to leave!

Our stay at Sun Ray was perfect! We were given such a warm welcome and couldn't have asked for more. They were so helpful and were incredible at helping us with any queries, booking trips and taxis and providing advice. The location was excellent, just steps from bars, shops, restaurants and the beach, with regular buses to and from Chania Old Town. The bedrooms were air conditioned and the beds beautifully made everyday. Everybody was so friendly and helpful. It was clean and spacious, giving the feel of both a hotel and self catered accommodation. The pool was clean and there were plenty of sun loungers that we never had a problem with getting and there is a toilet and shower at the pool side. There is also a lovely, convenient shop just below the hotel too. Even before our stay, the hosts were incredibly helpful, sending messages and advice. I would say that the photos do not do the hotel justice. It is clean, spacious, modern and well equipped. We had a wonderful stay and would like to thank them for making our holiday a fantastic experience! We would definitely stay here again!

Nothing. It was perfect!

Great location, just off the main strip with private parking which is very convenient. There’s been a full refurbishment in recent years so everything has a modern look and is well maintained. The apartment was spacious enough with 2 bedrooms and the kitchen had everything needed. Air conditioning worked fine and was cleaned regularly through the week. Fantastic value for money

We had the most amazing stay here and can’t recommend it enough. The location is perfect, next to so many bars and restaurants and the bus stop near by means it is so easy to get to Chania harbour/old town. The apartment is spotless and has a luxurious feel, Eva and Mary are the most lovely hosts. You will feel immediately welcome and they are always there to help or give recommendations. The maids are also the sweetest people and so polite. The pool area is gorgeous, it was never too busy and always kept clean. The jacuzzi bath on the balcony was amazing to cool down in the day whilst sunbathing on the beanbags and to sit in the evenings. You won’t regret booking to stay here it is a real gem and we would love to come back

Nothing bad to say!

The apartment was really cosy, a lot of space and very clean. We specifically liked the pool area a lot, there are not many apartments using the pool and usually we had the pool all by our self. The location is good, within walking distance from a lot of nice restaurants and stores. The staff is really quick to answer messages through booking but however most of the time there is no one in the reception

The breakfast was absolutely not worth it! do skip it and instead walk to nearby restaurant or prepare your own (We could not eat it it was so bad)
