Absolutely fantastic stay at this lovely little hotel, brilliant location in the centre of Agia Marina with numerous shops, restaurants and the beach on your doorstep but still quiet and peaceful, just perfect! All the staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming, the breakfast included was generous and delicious and our studio apartment was bigger than we expected, clean, comfortable bed, air conditioning, towels changed every day and had all the kitchen facilities you could need - really lovely pool area was a bonus too, we loved the beanbags! Thank you Damoulis and everyone at Akatos for the most wonderful stay, we were sad to leave but hope to return!

Akatos hotel was more than perfect for our family!! We were in Crete for a month and this was our last accommodation. Everything worked perfectly. The breakfast was tasty (last morning we had to leave early so they made us breakfast ready for the room, unbelievably good service). The pool area was nice, not too crowded. Snack bar/cafe there served good cocktails and icecreams. Room was big enough for us (2 adults + 2 children) and it was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped although we didn't cook food there. Our visit was perfect in Akatos hotel: thank you very much! We really hope to see you again in the future.

The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and smiled and assisted with any questions we had. My friend travelled from the UK the day before I travelled from Ireland and she was well looked after as was I when I stayed on a further day. I would love to stay for 10 days the next time.

There was nothing I can think of that we didn't like. Next time we might book a double room as we're old ladies snoring and coughing and getting up in the middle of the night for the bathroom :)

Can't thank enough all effort the team in Akatos to make our stay soo amazing. The hotel is perfect located to our needs, we been most of the time outdoors, to come back, beds are comfortable, with daily cleaning, shower had excellent water pressure. Hotel manager and staff always ready to help. We book a few trips directly with him. Food and drinks was excellent. With this price didn't expect all this quality.

Everything was amazing. I fully recommend this hotel. They clean rooms every day and changing towels every single day. Breakfast is big, tasty, and with good quality. Staff is so polite and helpful. Everything that we asked for they tried to help. It was our honeymoon so they prepared a surprise for us (wine and fruits). There is a beautiful pool as well and they clean it every day. I will definitely comeback.

My partner has family in Crete and we were visiting for a family wedding/holiday. Our flight was late in the evening and had been delayed so I messaged via booking.com and Damoulis responded and waited till we arrived and took us to our room where he had prepped the electric so the air con was already on. Breakfasts were amazing. A really good time slot (8-11) and just sat down in a morning to be served with a coffee, orange juice and continental breakfast (these were slightly different each day). Rooms are reasonably sized and well equipped, with really good air con. Our balcony was a very good size with table and chairs and also an airer for drying clothes. The pool area is a decent size with a good section for kids. The area is a sun trap between 10 and 5 but it allows for a lot of shade in the evening. Me and my partner know the location well and the hotel is in a quieter section of the resort for nightlife but a 15 minute walk to platanias square and you have all you need there, bars, restaurants, shops etc. Damoulis and his team are really friendly and welcoming. Damoulis is easy to talk to, happy to listen to questions and even asked us how the wedding was on the following morning at breakfast. Overall, a great place to stay and would definitely return.

Great small hotel with pool, bar and cafe,bar. Good location just across the road to the beach which is quite pleasant. Restaurants offering free sun beds for lunch guests just opposite. We had a car so drove into Chania a few times which is 20 mins away. Dmoulis the manager was very helpful and kind, nothing a problem. Cleaned the apartment every couple of days if we wanted! Thanks a lot for a lovely stay!

Lovely place very central to the beach and bars and restaurants, also close to the bus stop to chania , the family were very nice and helpful in every way , the rooms w as cleaned daily and fresh towels and bed linen regular , the breakfast was more than enough and a good variation each day ,the gardens and pool area were kept clean and looking lovely will definitely recommend this place. ,maybe if they had a sofa to sit on would make it bit more comfortable instead of having g to sit on a hard chair or the bed. . We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely time

room was lovely and so was balcony. was amazing that there was free air con which we could control. pool was lovely. breakfast was lovely but only managed to get it once. cleaning staff were SO KIND and SO AMAZING, they completely understood and came back later when we were being lazy.

shower was a bit small but was perfect for us. wifi was awful but we had data so it was fine.

We liked brekfast, continental, delicious. Beds were comfortable, AC great- 2 in apartment, cleaning ladies brought every days new towels, every 2 days they changed the sheets. The owner very friendly and helpfull, he even booked a taxi for all. Very reccomended.😁
