The hotel exceeded our expectations. We had a room in a small villa, pretty good size and a big balcony. The inner courtyard with lawn, palms and swimming pool was pretty nice. The reception staff was friendly and willing to help.

Cleaning hours were a bit strange. We came to the room during high heat hours after lunch (14-16) and the cleaning staff was still present. They do a good job, no complaints, but probably the staff is undersized and couldn't clean all the rooms after breakfast. Dinner is "a la carte" not an open buffet. If you like not to wait and taste different dishes, halfboard may not be a good idea. Otherwise, if you like fresh cooked dinner and don't mind choosing from a fixed list, this may be for you.

Everything was very nice and the staff is super friendly over there. I would specially mention Elena; she has been the best hotel employee we have ever met/ experienced during our very many trips in numerous countries. She was always energetic, happy, helpful and our kids also did like her a lot! I believe she is the biggest value of this resort.

Everything was superb but probably the high number of mosquitos in our apartment was the biggest downside. Maybe it was because ours was the most shadowed apartment (2 bedrooms) in the whole resort so we did not have even one hour of sunshine. Hence, it was impossible to get our towels and swimming dresses dry, thus maybe some drier equipment could be set up in this apartment in the future. Moreover, there was no window in the whole apartment so you might feel a bit of weird every now and then. :) Also the broken freezer should be changed/ repaired.

Great hotel absolutely met our expectations. We were a big family from Cyprus (12 people), the rooms were great as described, the staff very helpful and kind always ready to help you with a smile! Great breakfast and facilities for everyone kids and adults. The pool was very big with sunbeds and supervision. Location excellent just 3-4 mins from the sea and near many shops and restaurants! Special thanks to Mrs. Eleni and all the staff there. Very kind and helpful with all our requests! Of course would like to visit again sometime in the future!

I read some of the reviews and I was a little sceptical about the hotel. When we got there I was pleasantly surprised, big room , comfy beds, room was clean and tidy. Views of the sea and the pool and I could not fault the staff and the service. Anna was amazing at the breakfast buffet so friendly and made us feel welcome, Nikoleta who was the waitress around the pool area was exceptional and again made us feel right at home. The position of the hotel could not be better with the restaurants and bars in your doorstep but also far enough away to be very quiet at night and the beach across the road brilliant holiday all round! I will be booking again very soon and highly recommended.

We stayed in standard double room this time. The room was clean, enough space for 3 people. However the bathroom was smaller, and for a bigger person could be a right pain to take a shower. In general we love this hotel, and the staff goes above and beyond Elena what an amazing lady she is! We had couple issues but reception would solve the issue asap.! Location is close to beautiful beach. Big thank you! Hope to return again! 💚🏖️

I have noticed that other hotel guests would book a sun-bed next to pool with a towel. I understand that this is unfortunately not the hotel it’s the guests who thinks it’s ok to do it. So we never got the chance to use the pool. However I hope this will be noticed and the hotel will do something about this.

We stayed for 10 days with half board. Breakfast was good but it did not vary much between days. Dinner was also good and for the whole stay we never repeated the same meal combinations, but you always had salads, meat/fish, dessert stations. Highly recommend trying the cheeses and tzatziki. The best thing at Atrion is the staff! Elena, Dimitris and Susan took care of us during our stay and were super attentive and efficient. We also loved Cretan night, with lots of nice food and brilliant entertainment (dancers and musicians). The location is perfect for the beaches and other restaurants/shops and even to get buses/excursion transfers, with stops just a few meters from reception.

This is nitpicking, because we really loved our stay. The pool itself was not designed for relaxing, it was more designed for actually swimming. Although it is enormous, most of it was deeper than 1.2 meters, so it wasn't super comfortable to just hang out there. Also, the food at breakfast and dinner could be better labelled. If you have allergies/intolerances you wouldn't know immediately what you could eat. We had booked our stay online in October 2023 to visit in July 2024, in the meantime the tourist taxes went up and we had to pay the difference at check out, despite being told at check in that we had already paid for the stay and tourist taxes.

Location was perfect, 1 minute walk to the beach. Rooms & hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. Room had all the expected facilities. Staff very good.

Pool was a bit cold

The breakfast had good variety. The pool area was great, especially the happy hours with raki. The rooms and beds were comfortable.

We had several rooms and in one of the rooms, the bathroom was stinking and the air-conditioning didn't work properly (switched automatically from heating to blowing cold air when the nights already started to get cold). But we informed the receptionist when checking out and they promised to take care of the problems before the new season starts

Staff are very friendly and the accommodation is clean and well run. Also close to all amenities. Breakfast choice caters for everyone's needs. This is my 4th stay at this hotel with another stay booked for September. Thank you Eleni and all the staff for another enjoyable and comfortable vacation.

Nothing to dislike

It was spotlessly clean provided everything you needed air con safe and coffee in room was lovely. Comfortable beds Good wifi all over the hotel. Katerina and Eleni on reception were very friendly helpful and kind. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

There was nothing I didn't like except I would have liked the breakfast to be hotter but that's my preference not a complaint.
