Very nice little cozy hotel managed by a friendly family. The hotel is about 200m from the beach, has a nice pool and the rooms are cleaned daily. It is worth to add breakfast to the reservation since the breakfast is nice and have some variety every day. The lady who runs the restaurant even made us toasts to go when we were leaving, since our flight home was late in the night. All in all we loved our stay at Anatoli and can highly recommend it since it has a much nicer vibe compared to the bigger hotels down by the beach.

Pillows are a little hard but really nitpicking. To get to the beach you must cross a road with a lot of traffic, this is of course not the hotels fault but worth to mention.

We recently had the absolute pleasure of spending a week at the Anatoli Beach Hotel with my girlfriend, and it was, hands down, one of the most genuine and heartwarming hospitality experiences we've ever had. We often stay at various hotels during our travels, but the Anatoli has instantly nestled itself into a special place in our hearts. Anatoli even means "where the sun rises" in Greek. From the moment we arrived, Nikos and his family, who runs the property, greeted us with such a warm and welcoming smile that we instantly felt like we were home. Their genuine kindness and care were palpable throughout our stay, with every interaction seeming less like a mere customer service encounter and more like a chat with good old friends. The rooms are not luxurious by the typical five-star standards, but they are clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything one might need. We loved the honest simplicity of it all. Close by are cute goats frolicking, wonderful sight. The food was simple yet tasty, the meals reminded us of a homemade feast. There was always more than enough to eat and every dish was prepared with love and care, highlighting the essence of genuine home-cooking that's often lost in more commercial setups. We'd highly recommend booking directly through their website. Not only does this support the host family by saving them the deserved 20% usually lost to the platforms, but it also ensures a direct friendly communication channel with the hotel. In summary, our stay there was more than just a vacation. It was an immersive experience into the warm embrace of genuine hospitality, something that has become increasingly rare in our hyper-commercial world. If you are looking for an honest, comfortable, and home-like place to stay, with delicious food and the kindest of hosts, do not hesitate to book your next stay there. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Super friendly and hospitable staff/owners! Big pool, clean sheets and towels. The rooms are cleaned every day. Own balcony with a view. Location very close to everything - the beach, restaurants, little supermarkets and tourist shops. Bus stop within a 2-minute walk (Kavros). In a nice area if you wish to avoid big crowds. Take one of those train rides if you're in the area!

The beds are hard, you can feel the springs on your back. Smelly patio chairs.

Very clean, great pool, breakfasts ( every day something different ), localisation. Close to the village centre, so just a few steps to nice restaurants, free parking is behind the building, inside the room there's a small fridge. The most important thing is that this place has got superb nice owners/staff and they are doing all best to you to enjoy your stay :) Its also a nice base to have trips over Crete ie. to Kournas lake or some nice beaches around.

Beds and pillows were tough, could be more soft, shower is really small ( of course we knew about it, but it was challenging not to overflow bathroom )

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The location is convenient due to the availability of shops and restaurants. We also liked the pool.

Sidewalks are rather an exception in this place, as we were traveling with a small child, so it took some getting used to. The room amenities are basic and the space overall is quite tight.

Fully agree with previous reviews - this accomodation deserves three stars at least. It's a perfect choice for holidays in Crete: - Cozy interior, garden and pool area: spacious, quite, green, well looked after. Pool 2,77 m deep! Very good for swimming. Enough sun beds and space for all guests - although hotel was always fully booked, pool area never crowded. - Location. Perfect for staying with or without a car: although Kavros is a small and quite village, bus stop (and frequent buses) to Chania or Rethymo (takes only 15min) is 100 m away. Beach, supermarket, tavernas and many options for excursions also few hundred meters away. - Food. Half-board was a good choice: meals are simple, but fresh and tasty. Dinner is predifined very evening, but if you don't like it, they can prepare something else. Stayed for 7 nights, food was different each evening. - Very friendly and helpful staff, thank you!

What made this hotel stand out was the service from the owners; we got a drink on arrival, fresh fruit by the pool and a small gift when we left. They were pleasant, friendly and helpful at all times.

The shower was too small and flooded the bathroom. Otherwise the room was clean and a reasonable size.

We arrived later then expected because our fight was delayed and it was no problem, even at midnight. The hospitality was so nice, we got treated with a raki tastement and bought some home make raki. The pool was very quited and relasing. Breakfast was good with wholeweat bread and a lot of extra's, to much to write that even. The view is very beatifull, and the beach is really nice. There is some trafic on the road but the evenings are quite. Good restaurants nearby, even next doors!
