Room #9 was just perfect for us. We went down town for dinner first night and second night had a superb dinner in the restaurant with a table on the outside terrace with an amazing view. The food was wonderful, the wine was great and the staff were very professional and more importantly, they were friendly. During dinner we were entertained by the music from the amphitheatre next door as the Festival of Ioannina was underway (we ventured in there after dinner - atmospheric, loved it!) Yiorjios in the breakfast room made us very welcome and was very helpful as we had some questions about directions. Breakfast cannot be faulted and anyone who would complain is just hard to please or being contrary. Ladies in reception were also lovely, professional and friendly

Our stay at Frourtzou Politia was an exceptionally pleasant experience from start to finish. We stayed for three nights with our children and fully enjoyed the hotel's amenities. The space offers everything a family needs. We were particularly impressed by the play area, where our children spent countless hours playing under the supervision of the polite and helpful staff. The fact that access to the play area was free for hotel guests was an added bonus. While the children were having fun, we enjoyed our coffee, beers, and snacks at the hotel's cafés. The restaurant at Frourtzou Politia was also a pleasant surprise. The delicious quality of the food, the stunning view of Lake Ioannina, and the friendly staff contributed to unforgettable dining experience. Additionally, as hotel guests, we had the opportunity to benefit from a discount at the restaurant, which added even more value to our stay. The rooms were perfect for our family, beautifully decorated, and clean. Every day, we found fresh towels, and everything was neatly arranged. Excellent breakfast options and pleasant staff. Overall, our stay at Frourtzou Politia was excellent, and I highly recommend it to any family looking for an unforgettable holiday experience.

The only minor comment is that the shower could use a little maintenance. Also, the chairs in the play area's café are not comfortable at all, as your legs start to hurt after sitting for a long time.

Frontzu Politia is my favourite spot in Ioannina, location is probably as good as it gets, the atmosphere is amazing and the boutique feeling with the traditional touch is a perfect combination of modern and traditional, I would recommend it 100%, staff is always helpful and very friendly, going out of their way to assist. The breakfast is a whole experience on its own as it is located in the highest point with a beautiful view of the lake and the entire city. Additionally mr Giorgos that has been looking after the guests in the breakfast is like a walking encyclopedia for the city and surroundings, he is always offering information and tips. As for the food it is great with local options, fresh eggs etc. Do not miss it!

There is nothing that I do not like about this place, always my go to place when I travel to Ioannina.

The Internet is extremely slow, not suitable for working -at all, and not suitable for even a Skype or WhatsApp call. Something that could be easily fixed. Some of the rooms have very little light and mine being close to the stairs meant the tiny window had to stay shut as everything could be overheard with people coming and going -and easily looking in too...

It is beautifully situated over the hill looking at Ioannina lake. Nice architect and very nice staff,

The establishment has a nice traditional Greek architect with a Greek surroundings and atmosphere. It would have been perfect if that setting is complemented with a Greek music in the restaurant instead of American music or at least use the classical Europeans symphonies. I don't think I've ever heard a Greek music during the breakfast in any American hotel in US. Then why European does not defend their culture and music the same way that American do who even go beyond that and distribute and commercialize their music/culture all over the world. One travel with music so what is the difference then if we hear the same American songs in every restaurants in the world... we just loose track and a charm of a country's culture.

We travelled with a whole family group so we booked two family rooms and one single. Everything was very clean, comfortable and new. I highly recommend the place for families with toddlers. Our kids really enjoyed the amazing outdoor playground and we enjoyed the food and drinks of the bar and cafe there. Prices are reasonable. Also the breakfast was very tasty with a lot of choices, even for vegetarians. The single room we have given at the arrival had a bad smell and the ac was not working. The staff changed the room immediately to the junior suite with any other charge.

This was a beautiful hotel room with a relatively large bathroom and 3 beds that fit our family needs. It had a beautiful view of the lake and good restaurants on site. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant and the staff was very friendly. Upon check in we were told that we received free breakfast so we did go to breakfast. When we checked out we were told that they were mistaken. We probably would have ate there anyways due to convenience but one of us in our party is not a big breakfast eater and I would not have paid for that person if I had known.

Frontzou Politia was the perfect place during my stay in Ioannina, the room was amazing , the food and the view of the restaurant was also amazing , everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay , I will definitely recommend it to anyone that visits Ioannina.

The rooms were large, very clean and well equiped. Breakfast was really good with lots of options and a nice view. The main restaurant also had a great view and everything we tried was very nice. There is also a playground for kids with free access for hotel guests, which our kids appreciated, though it is mostly for young kids (say up to 8yo)

If you open the windows, there is some lack of privacy as all rooms are next to each other and people can walk by outside your window.

Out of the centre so very easy to park and to travel in and out of the city. Views from breakfast room are to die for. Rooms are comfortable, quiet, great shower, very modern. The chap at breakfast was so friendly. And breakfast was tasty.

Air con is very very week.
