It is a beautiful hotel, well kept with a 5 star feeling. The staff is wonderful, the breakfast is great! The hotel is situated near a lake, very nice to walk next to. Close location to center of city near the castle, where all of the restaurants are. Miss it already, great price for a wonderful stay.

Best location, plenty of parking. Amazing view of the lake from our room. Excellent service. Very large comfortable room. We were impressed with the hotel decoration. The breakfast had plenty of choice but disappointingly the fried eggs, bacon and sausages were not freshly cooked and were thus cold. A gym would be an asset considering there is a wellness, fitness centre. We enjoyed the use of the spa. However, my wife wanted an hour massage session and was told they only had half an hour which we found expensive as it was way more than half the price of an hours session. €55 for half an hour or €75 for an hour.

No covered parking. No charging for EV. Our building wasn't yet renovated (but will be in the short future as I understood). As other guests mentionned it's a bit of a lottery in terms of room size and location. We got very lucky and enjoyed a spacious corner room with lake view. Pool is a plus, but as they accept outside guests.. It gets crowded during hot days, hotel clients might not find a spot easily.

The suite we got was outdated, worn out and not as clean as it could have been. We got different photos in our booking, so when I asked at the desk why our suite does not look like the photos from Booking we were informed that we got an upgrade! Funny that their upgrade looks much less appealing than the original suite we booked. The hotel corridors and lifts smelled unpleasant due to humidity and outdated carpets.

Very well maintained property, a mix of traditional architecture and elegant country style. Extremely polite and helpful staff, excellent cuisine and one of the best breakfast buffets I ‘ve had in the last years. Amazing ambience, fantastic view to the lake. My favorite aspects, which are undeniably unique in the area, are the exceptionally high level of spa services and the direct proximity to the lake ecosystem. My favorite rituals: the Du Lac Balinese massage at the Spa and the sun rise amidst the tranquility of the lake sounds. It was an impeccably relaxing and enjoyable stay, totally recommended.

I would like to have the open-air swimming pool available even in early May. Unfortunately due to lower local temperatures, it opens in June.

Classic luxury hotel, beautifully decorated, rich breakfast, fine dining, lovely view to the lake. Walkable distance to the castle and old town. (20 min)

Expensive so at least the use of the SPA (indoor pool, sauna etc) should be included in the rate. Also at the time of my booking it confirmed outdoor pool to be open in OCT, instead it wasn't. Two cups of tea euro 24? Also would be nice to have more "A la carte" options and bigger variety of sweets for afternoon tea / coffee.

This hotel is a jewel to behold. A fantastic place, clean, excellent facilities and such lovely staff. I shall visit again.

Very nice location. Staff very gentle and helpful. Room nice and big. The room we had was big, very clean, with a nice terrace, lake view. The hotel is a quite elegant one but, in our room, some modernisation would not be bad. The shower made noise when having bath, the faucet tap in the bathroom needs replacement. Breakfast is very good. It's difficult to decide what to eat since there is a very wide choice and one can difficulty taste everything.

Very spacious, a big relief after staying at a boutique hotel in the castle. Beautiful view from our room across a park, to the lake and the mountains beyond. Efficient Aircon, also a big relief. Private parking and very easy access from the main road in and out of town. Great staff, well informed and always helpful

Overall I really like my stay. The give us an upgraded room, and I really appreciate that. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very kind and polite. I really recommend the hotel. And I will visit it again. Also, the spa area was excellent! Bonus the lady in the spa at the front desk was very polite and kind.

Everything was perfect, but I really expect to have extra facilities like toothpaste/toothbrush in the room and a smart TV. Also, I recommend to renovate the hotel and to put wood floor in the floor.
