Everything ! it’s a family run block of apartments, they are clean, well equipped and homely. I had a studio which had everything I needed including a lovely balcony overlooking the pool - it was serviced everyday and well maintained. my children had a one bed apartment which was spacious and loads of room for the baby to crawl around. The facilities are lovely and well maintained, the pool is large and child friendly, there is also a baby pool for little ones. There is a well stocked bar and snack bar - The breakfast is plentiful and all very fresh, great selections, you don’t need to leave site if you don’t want to. The location is amazing, it’s close to the beach, port and town - there is a little train that goes everywhere so if walking is an issue the train goes all day, every hour and is lots of fun. we are already talking about what dates we are coming back next year.

The bathroom in the one bed apartment was very small and not easy for a family with a baby.

I can't praise enough the time we had in Amalia Apartments in Bali. The hotel is cozy, has a wonderful view of the beach and above all has Nikki and Yanis the amazing hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, the experience would not have been the same without them. The pool is warm and suitable for children, and the bar is more than reasonably priced. If you want to spend good time in Bali, go to Amalia Apartments.

The internet was problematic.

We had a really wonderful stay at Amalia Apartments! The location is perfect, close to the beach and all the restaurants around town. The staff were super friendly, always there to help and make you feel welcome. The room was spacious and cozy, and the shower was surprisingly big, which made it even better. The pool is such a gem – a great place to relax with an amazing view. Ahh! By the way, they've a nice caipirinha and all drinks is amazing too.

The soundproofing could have been better. At times, we could hear people talking or cars outside. Thankfully, we were there in September when the village wasn’t too busy, and by around 11 p.m., things got quiet for a peaceful night. The breakfast time. It finishes at 9:30 a.m., which felt a bit early, especially when you're on holiday and want to relax. I understand that it might make sense for a smaller hotel, but it would be nice if they could extend it a little.

I would say, all was perfect, 100% what I was looking for, comfy beds, pool view as was requested, spacious comfy room, furnitures on the balcony and almost a private swimming pool, there wasn't many people 2-5 of October, no noise around, couple of minutes walk to restauranta or beaches, perfect place for 3 days stay. Because of the stomach issues didn't try the breakfast which is a pity, I'll try next time and review. Tasty ice coffee in a pool bar and lovely staff, truly recommend this hotel

Kitchen could be equipped a little bit better, no dish dryer, coffee and tea is always a grate welcome

Our favourite accommodation in Greece. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and attentive, the hotel pool was perfect for us and really enjoyable for our little one, and the room was very comfortable, clean and modern with a very good shower. We found the location was really ideal for Bali, right in the centre, walking distance to all of the beaches and restaurants but also peaceful because there are no bars and restaurants next door. Highly recommended. We are already considering returning next year!

We were very happy with everything and wished we had planned a longer stay here!

The apartments were all in all very nice, and the staff was friendly. The locations of the building was also great. The mattresses were also very comfortable.

The kitchen was not equipped well. Many important items were missing, e.g. a cutting board, salt and pepper, proper cutlery, a kitchen towel or cloth (we had to run to the bathroom every time we cut fruit etc to wipe our hands). The only plates were soup plates, so you had to cut everything on the soup plate which was very annoying.

Very nice, friendly and helpfull staff. We were helped from fitst moment when we arrived untill the check out. The wifi was good. The rooms are fresh, nice pool area with good kids section - overall it was a great stay and good location with 5 min walk to the beach. Thank you, if we will come again to Bali, we will gladly stay here again!

Everything was really nice besides just one small thing.. The AC should be better and in both rooms.

This is the second time I have stayed here, they are family run and absolutely amazing. They are kind, helpful, the apartments are lovely, all very clean - the facilities are great, lovely pool, children’s pool, bar, snack bar - loads of sun beds and umbrellas. The location is perfect for town, beach, harbour and port - it’s a genuine safe haven and I’m going to return there again.

I didn’t like have to leave as it’s so lovely there

Great location with short walk to the beach and cafes and restaurants nearby, as well as a supermarket 3 minutes away. Loved the nice pool area and the views from the balcony, overlooking the pool and the mountains. The hosts were super friendly and hospitable, and even dropped me off to the bus stop on my departure day with my massive suitcase which was so lovely. The room was clean and the kitchenette equipped with the basics to be able to cook your own meals.

One of the shower screens was missing in the bathroom so the floor was flooded every time I showered. The bathroom also smelled a little (the pipes), but was able to eliminate that by leaving the bathroom window open. Would have been nice to have a kitchen towel and a chopping board, and wine glasses!

Small cozy appartement hotel in Balion, modern seaview appartement for 3 had a good size and a lovely terrace, very friendly staff, small but lovely pool, close to the beach and restaurants/shops but still quiet. Definitely a recommendation if you want to stay in Balion.
