We stayed for a week in this hotel and were absolutely delighted with the location of the hotel its design. Every level looks unique and that combination of surrounding rocks with all the greenery is truly remarkable. Another thing is a sea - we spent whole day at the beach breathing the breeze and watching our daughter splash in the sea. We took a bus to get to a lunch restaurant (which is located closer to the sea ,separately from the main restaurant where breakfast and dinner take place, allowing people to have lunch in a more casual outfit straight from the beach/pool, and made our way back to the beach till the evening. Another big highlight of this place is its people/staff - which was super nice and helpful - a special shouout for a waitress Maria - she is so lovely and made our daughter laugh every time we came for dinner ❤️ We had our room with a sea view - it’s one more thing to fall in love with at this place - most of its rooms have sea view which is amazing! Food was also good and we always found something tasty and Cretan)

A one slight downside is that those transfer buses which get you around the place don’t have a strict timetable and sometimes we spent 30-40 min waiting either at the reception to get to the beach or vice versa (and the distance is quite long taking into account all the steps and hills) So I hope they make a fixed timetable so people know exactly when that bus leaves or arrives at certain stop.

Perfect place to relax or for family to have fun. Facilities were great, absolutely amazing, relaxing vibe. It was perfect for a restorative vacation. Very friendly staff, helpful. Food buffet options were also great and varied from day to day. Hotel also provides tour options, organizes many things for you, making it very easy.

The snacks around the pool bars and beach bar were always the same, some variety would have been nice, but generally they tasted good.

We were upgraded for a better room with the private pool shared between 2 apartment. The 2-bedroom apartment is quite comfortable for family of 4. The view is excellent and very relaxed. The food was perfect with a big choice of everything and even desserts were nice (I usually don't like desserts at all). Mostly French speaking people come to the hotel so entertainment is mainly in French. The beach is small but very nice and without strong waves. In addition to all all inclusive drinks they give you 0.5L water bottle per person per day in the room plus a welcoming bottle of wine.

- Coffee on the breakfast was not tasty but it was possible to drink it after in the beach and pools bars. - water in the coolers also not good enough - There is no surrounding teachable by walking but you can walk on the hills of the hotel itself (not easy, guys, but it's a good training 😜). - There is no place to wash feet and swimming suites near the room as well

The resort itself is quite massive. We travelled as a family (with a 3yo). The place is very family oriented. There are shuttles that take you to the beach and back to reception/restaurant. A convenient place if you plan to just stay in the hotel and relax in its facilities and beach. Might seem like quite a lot to do at first but really you would only be utilising the pool and the restaurant for most of the cases, unless of course you purhcased a tour online from countries that have contracts with the palace (I assume France/Poland being the most oriented). Was really pleased to see that there is constant work going on around to improve the facilities. Some parts seem to be under reconstruction/rennovation, means that owners are working towards improving the place. I guess my rating solely relied on the staff being really friendly. Dionisis and Popi were a highlight. Apart from understanding Greek form of communication, they were great at making contact and just bein really helpful.

I think rennovations are taking place as I write this review but what could improve is the insects in our room. Not sure how they managed to get inside given I ensured all was locked fairly well. I guess its innevitable given the climate and the location of the hotel (green and very humid). Another matter to consider at this hotel is the mosquito bites. They are ninjas./

Staff were the nicest and most helpful. The room was spacious, spotless and overlooking the magnificent blue horizon and sea. The 3 pools were quite small for the amount of guests. Board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was ok nothing to cry about nor to praise.

Well, all-inclusive is not my kind of traveling/staying but I were there to meet relatives. I, for one don’t like crowded places or mass consumption so I would never have ended up in such a place. Wasn’t the best experience for me albeit the commodities were very good.

All inclusive hotel. Fantastic experience from the moment of my arrival. Upon checking in, my family were shuttled to our room and the gentleman handled our bags and told us how to get to the main dining area and pools. There were so many things to do and could be scheduled right at the lobby. Tours can be scheduled on site as well as vehicle rentals. Spa experience was the greatest. Highly recommend!! Receptionist and actually ALL STAFF were so friendly and helpful. Many shops to do last minute shopping for souvenirs. I would definitely stay again. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience.

No atm on the premise. I was not able to tip my masseuse but this is not a deal breaker.

This is a lovely hotel with a very attentive and helpful staff. The food was varied and of good quality and they also catered for gluten-free diet without any fuss.

We were not a fan of the entertainment adjacent to the restaurant in the evening when we would have preferred a quiet dinner.

I really enjoyed the kindness of the staff. A big big thank to Mrs Agapi Stamataki, the Supervisor who has made this journey so memorable. She has upgraded me and offered a room with a wonderful sea view. I want to thank Irina, the reception team, restaurant staff, the room cleaner and the whole Marmara team for their positive attitude and amability.

Nothing, everything was wonderful.

The trip was perfect, we came to the hotel and they have upgraded our room to something unbelievable, not only we had quite big private pool for 2 rooms, but also a astonishing view on the seaside and mountains nearby. The private beach of the hotel was in the beautiful bay between two mountains. The food was delicious, but it depends of what you prefer, we really liked all the traditional food. Definitely will come back again 👍

Location and view - super. Food... Usually we can't eat in one place for more than 3 days, but in this hotel we enjoyed the meal for the whole week. My legs hurt after 2 days of stairs and hills on the hotel territory. But after 4 days I felt healthier and younger.
