We had a splendid stay at the Sea Vessel hotel in Bali, Crete. Our host, Mr. Manolis, was exceptionally friendly and attentive, providing invaluable information about the area. The hotel’s location is marvellous, offering great value for money and serving as an ideal base for exploring Crete. The view from our room, especially from the balcony, was enchanting, overlooking the sea and the pool - a true haven of tranquillity and beauty. The hotel’s cleanliness is impeccable, and the atmosphere is wonderfully welcoming and relaxing. I wholeheartedly recommend the Sea Vessel hotel for an authentic and memorable experience in Crete. Our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Manolis for his outstanding hospitality. We shall certainly return!

Everything’s fine!

The friendliness of the staff, the breakfasts, and the wonderful view! Being next door to a lovely chilled restaurant was an added bonus!

It would have been great to have some tea and coffee sachets. I usually bring them but travelled with just a tiny under the seat bag so just assumed these would be available. Also perhaps some water in the fridge would have been nice. The slope and drive to the car park was very scary for me so this meant we didn't venture out as much as we normally would... Most drivers would be fine with it though! Also the top cover of the bed was very stained but as there was a fitted sheet this was not a problem to us but may be for some people.

The location has an amazing view and is a 2 minute-walk from the beach. The hotel has multiple lovely sitting areas where you can quietly read a book or relax. The garden is peaceful and the atmosphere is cozy. The staff and the owner do their best to accommodate any needs or wishes and really make you feel at home. The room has everything you need. Of course it is not a 5 star hotel, but for the attractive price you pay, you get all the basics you need to be comfortable. Easy breakfast, great ice-coffee and amazing cocktails can be purchased in the hotel if you do not want to leave the terrace on a hot day. Overall great value for money! The cozy atmosphere and the warm-hearted owner+cleaning staff made this stay very special. We will definitely come back again.

Ideal location. Small family hotel with only 12 rooms. Owner, Manolis was extremely friendly and helpful. He runs a friendly, comfortable, clean hotel. We know the area well, this being our 4th trip to Bali. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants and nice, refreshing drinks made by Manolis at the hotel bar.

Sea Vessel was exactly what we were after. The reviews we looked at prior to booking were accurate and we would definitely return. No issues for us.

Fantastic budget hotel with incredible view and nice swimming pool. Right above nicest beach in Bali for swimming. Great restaurant next door. My wife and I have been to the hotel 3 times and will return. The owner is very kind as well as the housekeeper. We have not taken the breakfast because it was served at 8:30 although the kind ower said he would serve us coffee at 8:00. The breakfast we last time had it for 6 Euro (a steal), consisted of a boiled egg, toast, jam, olives, tomatoes and good coffee. Not sure why to stay anywhere else in town for the value, location, view and kind owner

There are steep hills down to the beach and to the nearest grocery stores as well as to the main port. That has been getting hard for me so not a great place for physically challenged unless you just want to enjoy the great view, pool and restaurant next door.

It was our 3rd time at sea vessel and did not disappoint. The rooms are basic but have everything needed for a comfortable stay, the view is spectacular and the location couldn't be better, within easy reach of all 4 of balls beautiful beaches. The hotel is clean, with fresh towels and bedding every 3 days. Breakfast is available if wanted and there is a bar beside the stunning pool. Once again we were sad to leave, we will definitely be back. Thank you to manolis the manager who is very helpful.

I caught the bus from Rethymno to Bali. Just off the main road was a little train that took you into Bali as the roads are very steep. The location of the hotel was great as it was a two minute walk to the beach. The breakfast was excellent as prepared by the host. The ham and cheese toasty was warm and tasty. The sea view from the room and breakfast area was gorgeous.

The room next to me used their air conditioner all through the night and the noise from the motor made it uncomfortable for me to sleep.

I want to say that we booked this hotel on Booking primarily because of the fantastic view in the photo and the high rating. And we won! Because everything is great here. 1. Convenient location - in the center of Bali, on the left and right - beautiful beaches. Near a mini-supermarket, taverns. 2. Fantastic view from the room. All rooms have a sea view, we sat in the evenings on the balcony and enjoyed the beauty. It's incredibly beautiful. 3. Very friendly staff, always smiling, open, hospitable people. Manolos and Maria - you are beautiful. 4. Cleanliness. Maria cleaned the room every day, and towels and bed linen were changed every three days. 5. Silence and tranquility. Despite the fact that the hotel is popular, we did not feel strongly the presence of people. 6. Lovely clean pool. We spent time there during the day under umbrellas. There is a very beautiful gazebo for relaxation. 7. Hearty breakfast for 5.5. Euro. Large selection of drinks at the bar. In general, the atmosphere of the hotel is cozy, calm, comfortable and romantic. We are delighted, we liked everything very much and next time we will only stay here.

Wonderful place with nice pool above the best beach in Bali. Very kind owner. Comfortable room with incredible view. For the comfort, price, view and kind staff this is the only place I would atay in Bali which I have come back to for 3 years. Next to the hotel is a restaurant that locals recommend. And 2 mini markets up the street for drinks or suplies. We got coffee packets for breakfast instead to taking good breakfast for early breakfast. Kind owner took our heavy luggage up to our room and back down to parking lot for taxi pickup. Highly recommend for view, pool, location, kind owner and price

Everything was just perfect, from location , to the staff, rooms, mini golf and pool on site wich kids really loved and prices in the bar, beach few steps away and another 3 with short walk distance. We have already booked for next year 😊

There is noting to not like as all is perfect!!!
