The location and price, the overall feel of the place. Two thicknesses of double glazed windows meant there was *no* sound from outside, and I think it was a quiet enough area anyway. The area itself is really handy for the centre and old town, so it's also not too far from the amazing market and the KTEL. This is not indentikit IKEA nonsense. It's an older building, and I think thoughtfully decorated, although not everyone will be a fan. I really appreciated the little extras - chocolate and cartons of drink in the fridge (as well as water), and that there's a sandwich toaster available. I didn't use the terrace, but it looked nice. Would I come again? Almost certainly, if I just needed a nice double room. Would my wife like it? Maybe. She might not appreciate the long flight of stairs, or every aspect of the decoration.

Having to leave - but I'd only booked one night in Kalamata because I was heading to Agios Andreas the next day.

The property was clean, comfortable and quiet with efficient aircon. It was good to have facilities to make a hot drink, along with a toaster, and an outside space to sit. Fairly central location, and an easy drive to the airport. Check in was via a key box which would be suitable for early/late flights, but also meant that there was no opportunity to meet host. However a comprehensive information sheet was provided, along with water in the fridge.

Not the fault of the property or host, but there was no parking but the public on road parking 5 mins away seemed safe. Strangely there was also nothing open around the property on a saturday afternoon and evening, although this wasn't a problem for me.

Everything was perfect They had teacups, tea, water, candy bars, juice, one use dental kits etc left out for us which was so sweet The details always make the difference

The wall material was about the cheesiest adhesive foam tile that I’ve ever seen in my life and not a very attractive color either. It just had a cheapness look to it.

Cosy and cute budget accomodation with 'old house' vibes and decor. A fridge was included in the room and a toaster and coffee/tea facilities in a communal area outside. The location is excellent, I highly recommend it!

the property provided complementary water, coffee, fruit, juice and some chocolate bars, very nice of them. it’s located right in the centre. very lively, be prepared for some noise, it’s manageable, but maybe better suited for people that wants to socialise during the evenings. I traveled with my family and we slept well.

not that soundproof but didn’t expect it to be, so it didn’t bother us .

Cosy room in a renovated neoclassical building. It's located close to the town centre, with easy access to restaurants, bars and convenience stores. The bed was very comfortable.

As a light sleeper, I would have liked better blackout curtains.

The apartment is nicely decorated in a retro style. It's at the heart of the city and can get a little noisy at times but soundproof windows plus a complimentary pair of earplugs did the trick. The room was really clean and the fridge war equipped with bottles of water and juice.

Central location. Helpful staff. Shabby but very clean room. Been decorated in an old style and some tiles have fallen from the wall but it didn't matter. Clean, lors of toiletries and staff allowed us to enter the room as soon as it was ready. Will stay again.
