recently had the pleasure of staying at The Residences Kalamata, and I can confidently say that it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped foot into the property, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an exceptional stay. The location is simply breathtaking - nestled in the heart of Kalamata. The accommodations are nothing short of luxurious. My suite was spacious, elegantly furnished, and adorned with modern amenities. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the room, making it a true home away from home. The staff at The Residences Kalamata were the true highlight of my stay. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, always going above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect.

The staff was super nice, helpful and friendly, especially Dimitris, the owner’s son. The property is just a couple of minutes walk from the centre, it is recently constructed, quiet and our room was true to the pictures. We would definitely recommend it and we plan to stay here again the next time we visit Kalamata.

There were certain things that would make the kitchen use easier, such as paper towels, something to dry the dishes with and a closed bin to dispose of the garbage.

We had a wonderful stay here! The location was perfect: just far enough from downtown to be a little quieter, also easy free and safe parking in the surrounding streets (but you can reserve a parking spot in the hotel garage if you're more comfortable). And downtown was only 5-10 min walk away, so we could easily get back and forth. The apartment was very comfortable and clean, the bakery around the corner was so nice for easy coffee/breakfast, a handy supermarket also just 3 min walk. Would stay here again if we ever revisit Kalamata!

Very convenient location in easy walk to the old town and plaza. The staff had reserved a parking space for us which was a relief as parking spaces are hard to find. The staff were also very helpful arranging the printing of some urgent documents for us and also directing us to a great beach bar.

Big family room, very nicely decorated with nice balcony and a big TV with free streaming services. Bakery on the ground floor in the same building was very convenient too, for having something for breakfast. Location was also very convenient, 5 min. walk to the city center and the main commercial streets, restaurants, cafes etc. A bit far away from the sea though.

Furniture quality was not that great. Now that the hotel is still new there is no issue at all, but in 5 years time I can imagine it will need some renovation. Also a bit difficult location to find a parking spot during the peack hour.

Arrived early and was given a great room. It was large with a separate kitchen area and had 3 balconies. The man on reception was very helpful and patient while helping us to get directions to the bus station and finding the bus times.

The bathroom had a slight smell of drains but this hotel is in the middle of a busy Greek city so this was somewhat expected. Apart from that the hotel was great.

The hotel is quite a new entity, and has been designed extremely well. The room was spacious, well lit, extremely clean, and the security door was very strong. The shower was roomy, and there was a place to set down a toiletry bag or bathing accoutrements in the basin area ( in many other places there is nowhere to set anything down). There was a friendly person on reception, and the management we met were also very friendly.

The hotel is in a part of town that doesn't afford a nice view, but for a short city break it's perfect, as you can easily walk into Kalamata old town from there.

the location is very central but in a quiet neighbourhood. the center is within walking distance. we didn't opt for breakfast but we got coffee and pastries from the bakery next door and they were exceptional. all in all it was a great stay!

make sure you check that all the windows are closed, I didn't notice that the bathroom window was left slightly ajar, and in the morning the bathroom was frozen, lol, no biggie, the room was definitely well-aired!

A bit exposed to the sun in the morning. The windows are equipped with thick curtains, which were successfully used on the following days, but we had to find out the "hard" way on the first morning

A very clean and comfortable room with a great layout and with a small kitchenette that was perfect for our one night stay and had everything we needed to make breakfast. Check in/out was quick and efficient and the reception staff was very friendly. It was easy to park on the street for free. Highly recommended.
