Lovely modern interior remodel of spacious downstairs apartment. We parked in free parking at West side of town and gave ourselves a 10 minute walk with some uphill, but it turned out there was street parking and the approach from. east side allowed steepest roads to be avoided. We arrived a bit later than planned but Leo the host arrived within 5 mins of calling. It would be a great location from which to hike up to observation deck or holy Trinity monastery ( about 45 mins?) but we drove on to Kastraki and hiked up to Barlaam - a steepish but lovely wooded hike. FYI: Kalabaka is larger with more restaurants and shops but Kastraki has a more rustic charm and some nice restaurants with views.

Had hoped for views but the lower apartment does not have that. Not a big deal as short ascent of the steps to the road gives stunning views.

A Wonderful Stay in Meteora!! I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel! Eva and Leo were incredibly kind and supportive throughout my stay. As a foreign traveler, it was so helpful to communicate with Eva before arriving, and she arranged for Leo to pick us up and take us to the hotel. They are both lovely, friendly people who are well-organized and truly care about their guests. The room itself was clean, modern, and cozy. The hot water and air conditioning worked perfectly, and the area was quiet and private, which made for a very comfortable stay. The view from the balcony was beautiful, and I really enjoyed having coffee while admiring the scenery (and yes, there was coffee in the room!). The thoughtful touches, like the tableware, wine opener, snacks, and drinks, really added to the charm of their hospitality. I especially appreciated the blackout windows, which provided extra comfort for sleeping. I also want to mention that I accidentally forgot some of my belongings, but Eva immediately contacted me and worked hard to resolve the situation. I truly appreciated her effort and the kindness they both showed throughout my stay. Thanks to Eva, Leo, and the hotel, my trip to Meteora went smoothly and was full of wonderful memories. I can’t wait to return to this beautiful city and stay at their hotel again!

Everything is good!!

Rocks Republic is a perfect place to stay in Meteora. It is accessible by car and there are enough spots to park. The room is large, modern and has everything you need. The bed sleeps really well! From the Airbnb, you have a nice view over the city, and over the Meteora rocks. We even sat outside for a little bit, and it is no problem that this apartment does not have a big balcony/terrace, there is plenty of space to sit. Furthermore, my boyfriend and myself really liked the short walk to the city centre: it is approximately 5-10 min, depending on the restaurant you want to eat, and it is nice to see the different buildings. There are many good restaurants nearby. Concluding, we can definitely recommend this place, and if we ever return to Meteora, we will stay here again. Lastly, the communication with Eva and Leo was perfect, and when we were a bit afraid that we were going to arrive too late in Meteora, they reassured us and would welcome us even though it was late, which was extremely nice and friendly.

Really beautiful room/apartment in a great location at the top of the town and very close to one of the mountain trails. The room is a good size, well equipped, and it was clean. Leo and Eva who run the place were really nice and very helpful. Kalambaka town is a short walk away (albeit quite steep). We were hiking in the mountains so the location was perfect for us.

The outside space is a bonus, and there is a partial view of the mountains, but nothing special view and the terrace does not really have any privacy. For us it was still nice, but don't have too high expectations.

My stay was perfect from A to Z, there's absolutely not a single bad thing to mention. This was truly one of the greatest guesthouses I've ever encountered around the world, and I honestly recommend it to anyone who's willing to experience an amazing stay at Kalambaka. The hosts were kind and attentive, very welcoming, picked me up from the train station, and even let me stay an hour longer after the checkout, because my bus was departing late that day. The house itself was super cozy, located under the rocks with an amazing view from the terrace. Spotlessly clean, a fully equipped kitchen, a coffee machine, and even sweets for breakfast. The bathroom was also very convenient and clean. Extremely comfortable bed and the room was warm and cozy. If I could rate my stay higher than 10, there's a possibility I would! Thank you!

The apartment is on the edge of town, next to the footpath to the Trinity Monastery (the one in the 007 movie). Very comfortable stay. Eva and Leo are super friendly and responsive and made us feel very welcome. They left us with goodies for brekkie and snacks. We like the location as it's an easy walk to the restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries, but not in the centre when it can be noisy and busy. Really easy to park about 20-30 metres from the apartment, and the whole area feels very safe. We wouldn't have done the walk to the Trinity Monastery if we didn't stay there either.

Hard to cover in a few words the good things we enjoyed at this location❤️ - Eva and Leo, the owners, are a great team, very kind and open to guide you anytime. - The apartments are well equiped with a good taste. - A lot of furniture in each room useful for the guests( 1 sofa and a small table at the entrance, one table with chairs in the middle for dining, also kitchen available with a medium fridge) - Large closet for clothes (inside available as well one blanket, one safe and first aid kit). - The bed also very comfortable and large enough for two persons (queen size i guess) - Bathroom well equiped as well with two large mirrors - Cleanliness at maximum in each room. - Terrace as well available. - The view is just amazing with the Meteora rocks nearby. - To highlight as well that you cannot open the door from outside without the key. I did forgot the key inside and I asked Eva and Leo for help and they kindly solved the issue❤️ - Also if you are looking for good suggestions for hiking or food location, best to ask Leo as he will happily guide you💪

Exeptionally clean and beautifully decorated apartment with everything you should need. Very quiet at night time, situated just below the meteora rocks.  Complimentary amenities; hygiene products, capsule-coffee, water, juice and snacks provided.  View to meteora rocks from both floors. Upper floor offers also view down to the village but terrace in first floor is slightly bigger with a nice hanging chair. Footpath to one of the monasteries near by. Nice and quite easy walk with lots of shadow from the trees. Leo the host very lovely and polite. Definitely recommended when visiting Meteora-region!

If you arrive by car dont't rely on google maps. You'll get better instructions from the host.

Eva and Leo were magnificent hosts - made everything incredibly easy. The villa is delightful with awesome views right under the Rocks providing a truly spectacular backdrop. The villa is extremely comfortable and has cooking facilities which was a great bonus for us. It's perfectly located with great restaurants and shops within walking distance. We highly recommend the Rocks Republic and our hosts made our time visiting magical Meteora truly memorable.

The room was brilliant.

Leo was very friendly and extremely helpful, spending at least 20mins talking to us about the local area and how best to visit Meteora. The property was spotless and we really appreciated the personal touches. We have stayed in a number of traditional Greek hotels over many years and this was easily the best (recently refurbished, very clean, modern and very owner).

The location isn’t sign posted and is a little hidden but easy to find with a SatNav address. We also gave an approximate arrival time and Leo was waiting for us when we arrived. Don’t let this put you off booking.
