The accommodation was very nice and the view of the sea from the balcony on the 2nd floor was breathtaking. You could lie on the bed and fall asleep to the sound of the sea. There was a small kitchenette and a supermarket was a 15 minute walk away. The nature in Falasarna and the beach are beautiful. I arrived by bus but had to take a cab to get to the next town. There is a bus once a day, but not to Elafonisi, where my onward journey went. If you want to be a bit more mobile, you should travel by car.

Perfect location for enjoying the beach (beautiful and sandy) and relaxing with family (especially with children). Recently renovated and equipped with all essential amenities. Other destinations can be reached by bus, but a car is definitely more convenient in terms of schedules and independence. And best compliments to the nearby "Taverna falassarna" where we enjoyed all our dinners!

nothing about the structure, maybe it would be better if the buses didn't finish at 5 pm to return from the nearest city.

This accommodation is located in a new complex, everything was fresh new, nice and worked well. The room for 4 people was rather smaller, but we didn't mind because we only slept there. The balcony was big enough with a beautiful view of the sea. The whole building stands rather on the side, but that brings peace. The smaller Falasarna beach is about 5 minutes on foot, the big beach is 2 minutes by car. There are several taverns and a small shop near the hotel. We used the tavernas up the hill on the road, which also had excellent food and a great sunset.

Nothing to really complain about.

Lovely recently renovated room on the 2nd floor, good size, the best view down the coast and a side view of the sunset in September. Such a comfy bed, good living room area, small but useful kitchenette and the bathroom was fine with a good shower. Staff friendly, lady who cleaned each day did her best to work around your schedule and did such a good job. This is our 3rd time in the area so we already love it. Brilliant beaches, so many good tavernas, but overall nice a quiet place to have a relaxing holiday.

Only very small nitpicks, there was a slight lack of places to put your stuff (especially in the bathroom). The bedside lamps were pretty to look at but impractical (i need a reading light!)

We spent a wonderful week in peace and quiet. Beautiful, clean apartments with an incredible view. The hotel owner and all the staff are very friendly. It's an excellent place for a meditative vacation. The hotel’s shop has all the essentials. The food in the nearby taverns is very delicious. We are already planning to return! P.S. A big hello to the shaggy Luis from the neighboring part of the hotel.

Wifi-Connection can be a bit more stable

I loved it! As a solo female traveler, it was perfect. This destination exceeded my expectations. I’ve stayed in a handful of accommodations in Greece, and this room was well-thought-out, with lots of little areas to store stuff. The staff were gentle and kind. And the location was amazing! We had some intense wind while I was there, but this meant I had the coast to myself! I was able to explore little nearby bays on foot, and take refuge in the rocky shores. It’s a really beautiful area for nature lovers. I reached it by bus (the bus stops directly outside the accommodation, it’s very straightforward with 2 buses starting in Chania; but I did miss my first bus from Chania because I was waiting in the wrong area. Ask at the Chania station to be sure!). I especially enjoyed walking and exploring the rugged coastline each day. It was hard to leave.

It was all wonderful! The decks aren’t very private, but my neighbours were respectful - besides, the views are amazing!

We loved our stay at Falassarna Bay Hotel! The studio was spotless, comfortable, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The location is ideal, with breathtaking views of the sea right from our balcony. Falassarna truly boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, and the hotel is just a short 5-minute walk from a charming, peaceful beach, as well as the larger Falassarna beach. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist. While the bathroom was a bit on the smaller side, it didn’t detract from our overall experience. We highly recommend this hotel for a perfect beach getaway!

Good locality, nice seaview, very friendly people, always so smiley and with good mood. Romantic terrace, well equiped room and always clean. Never a trouble to park a car, beautiful trees everywhere. Hotel had couple of restaurants right nearby, market if needed, and bar-cafés.

Air conditioner was blowing right on our heads so it couldn't be turned on all the time because we would be sick. So we turned air conditioner for about an hour and then we turned it off. But after like two or three hours we woke up to hot hot air in the room, so the quality of sleep was not that good for us, may be okay for someone else.

We had a new, very comfortable room and a breathtaking view over the beach. Very nice and flexibel people. Lovely breakfast. There are some good restaurants nearby and as well a shop. To the beach you have to walk a little path. There is more than one possibility and all of them are recommendable. It depends what you like. Extra tip: for going to Balos it's so much better starting from Falasarna than Kissamos. They can even pick you up at the hotel. Make sure to book early!

For the money we paid, we couldn't have asked for a better place. Everything was fine! Thank you! The only sidepoint was, that we absolutely wanted to go to Balos, which they told us "no problem". But finally we were only able to go because we checked directly with the boat owner for the date. Otherwise it was already fully booked.

We loved everything about this place. The minute we got there we regreted to only have booked one night. If we ever come back to Crete we will definitely stay here! The room and bathroom were spotless and the perfect size for 3 people. The kitchenette was small but had everything we needed to make a beautiful breakfast which we ate in the amazing terrace overlooking the Bay. There is an amazing restaurant about 800 meters away where we saw a beautiful sunset and ate fenomenal food, and a very well stocked supermarket. The Old Falasarna beach is the perfect spot to spend your day at. But if you fancy something else, there is the big and the small Falasarna beaches nearby. They all offer umbrellas for rent; some can be quite pricey. Whether you take your own or rent one for the day, I recommend to always have some sort of shade available; the sun and heat can be strong! They all have access to small restaurants or kiosks.
