Everything about our stay at Nautilus Bay Hotel was perfect! Easy <5 minute walk from the bus station (€4.90 direct to/from Chania) and supermarket. The room was spacious, spotless and well equipped, cleaner left us fun towel arrangements every day that made us laugh. The balcony was huge overlooking the pool which was always quiet and was one of the cleanest pools we’d ever seen. Steps away from its own private beach with free-to-use sunbeds and table service from the bar to the beach! Breakfast included was varied and delicious, well catered for us being vegetarian. Dinner for 2 + drinks at the restaurant was rarely more than €25, with starters, desserts and raki on the house both times we ate there. Cocktails were well-made (and strong!) and local beers available too.

The room we got was very big with a nice partial view of the ocean. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was solid. Not amazing, but good enough. The pool was big enough for a relatively small hotel. The staff were very friendly, and we got taken very good care of.

The beach right next to the hotel is not very comfortable, and its almost impossible to swim there because of the rocks. I know this isnt necesserily a part of the hotel, but its used as a way to promote the hotel and many people will book it because its so close to the beach. It looked amazing in pictures, but this was a bit disappointing. The drinks at the pool were expensive and not particularly good.

The staff at this property are incredible. Friendly, always there to help and make your stay special. The rooms are an amazing size and the beds are so comfy. The pool is beautiful and everything is incredibly clean! The location is stunning and the views are spectacular! On days where it was too windy to be in the sea safely, we were so content by the pool. It’s a really good location to get to Balos and the water sport rental company on the bay were great. The value for money at this hotel is excellent and very family orientated! Although we didn’t have kids, there were lots of families here who were having a really wonderful time!

The place is immaculate. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and nice. The swimming pool is great. The personnel is truly amazing. They are nice, at disposal’s, and have very good energy. The hotel is 5’ by foot to a long road of restaurants and in front of the sea. The vibe is very peaceful with the sea nearby and the soft music. The breakfast is complete and the food is also very good. Strongly recommend and we will be coming back.

The Hotel is located perfectly to visit all the landmarks of Western Crete (Balos/Falasarna/Elafonisi/Akrotiri etc.). Perfect for long stays. Staff super friendly, room well cleaned everyday with attention to details (towels were folded every day with fun designs). Room very spacious with good A/C, Kitchnette with fridge, Terrace with sea view. Hotel also have a lovely pool with unfortunately we did not take advantage of as we were travelling all days around the stunning beaches around Kissamos. Hotel located in a very safe with traditional taverns (Sunset taverna top choice) at walking distance. Overall would 100% recommend for longer stays

Location was great, sun loungers on the beach, pool was great size, good location to go into small town and restaurant was great we ate there twice in the short time we stayed. Staff really helpful and very nice.

Sea view was a bit misleading, we could see the sea but also a graffiti bin collection place and basketball court. Not quite as I had imagined.

Great location, okay sea view, sunbeds with umbrella is a plus, nice pool, great stuffs.

Sea view for some rooms at back isn't great. The misleading part here is, the pictures you see in booking.com includes sea view from both best and worst rooms and you hope you might get the better one but most likely you won't. The kitchen items are below bare minimum, we had to but cutting board and big spoons.

Staff is super friendly, room was very spacious and clean, with a big balcony and great view on the sea. Hotel is located right on the beach (not the nicest one in the area, but great for the first and last day). Breakfast was nice, everything was always fresh and tasty. Falasarna beach is just around 20min drive.

Wifi was very bad sometimes, but we didn't mind that too much

The location was perfect for a walk into Kissamos, a short drive to Falassarna Beach and also to the amazing Balos Beach. The staff were excellent and amongst the friendliest we've met. Hotel clean, lovely pool, plenty of parking, good choice of food with a lovely view over the bay. The Beach is decent enough to chill and swim. Our family room was bigger than I had expected. I would definitely consider this if we stay in this part of the island again.

I can't fault this hotel. If I had to be picky, the Beach could be nicer or the pool not next to the road. But it was so quiet and relaxing.

The location is fabulous. Right on the beach and close to the town. The facilities are really good. The pool is lovely and there are enough sunbeds either by the pool or on the beach. The staff were all really lovely- especially Manolis and the housekeeping lady who arranged our towels in different patterns every day - very amusing. Isabella was also extremely helpful when we needed things (our fridge stopped working and was replaced within hours - great service) and made recommendations for the locality. Would definitely book again
