Great hotel in Kissamos to visit Crete’s best beaches Elafonisi, Balos and Falasantra. Breakfasts are delicious with lots of local pastries and sweets as well as cheese, eggs bacon and jams. We didn’t feel like eating anything until dinner. Our room was very spacious, kitchenette was well stocked with everything one would need; bathroom and shower were also good. Our bed was a proper double and comfy. We had a nice balcony and the view was amazing! We wake up and went to sleep with the sound of waves. The beach in front of the hotel is not sandy but there is a organised beach walking distance. There are great restaurants also walking distance to the hotel; we particularly liked the Aretousa (dolmadakia, large beans, mussels were delicious), Eviva, Pixie, Sunset and Maria’s Beach restaurants. We definitely recommend Christina Beach Hotel!

Great location right by the sea, with a beautiful view. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was also good. I really liked the small town – very peaceful – and the promenade nearby is wonderful. The location is also great because it’s roughly halfway between some of the most beautiful beaches: Balos, Falasarna, and Elafonisi.

I didn’t like the fact that the internet barely worked in our room, and I really needed it. It’s also frustrating that this issue has been mentioned in other reviews, yet nothing seems to be done about it. One small remark: although I appreciate that the rooms are cleaned regularly, it does get a bit noisy in the mornings (around 8 a.m.) when cleaning starts.

A Truly Relaxing Getaway This hotel offers a truly relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The rollup’s shades on the windows are excellent, making it easy to enjoy a deep and restful sleep. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful — always ready to assist with anything you might need. The location is ideal: just a short walk from the village center, where you’ll find several restaurants and bars, and it’s also situated right on the beach. From here, it’s easy to reach stunning beaches like Balos and Elafonisi, as well as many others in the area. Another great plus is that parking is never an issue — there’s always space available.

A wonderful experience at this beachfront hotel! We had a great stay at this hotel, located right on the beach, which made our vacation incredibly relaxing. We arrived late at night on the day of check-in and were pleasantly surprised to find helpful notes from the staff that made it easy to locate our room. This attention to detail was greatly appreciated. The rooms were clean and spacious, with daily housekeeping, which was important to us. Additionally, the hotel provides towels for both the beach and the pool, which saved us from packing extra. The hotel also has a well-maintained private pool, perfect for when we wanted a break from the beach. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation with all the necessary amenities!

Amazing view of the sea and mountains from the balcony . Good choice of tavernas only a short walk from the hotel . Plenty of shops , supermarket, bus station nearby ( we took a bus to Chania and Falassarna Beach ) Very good breakfast , salads , selection of sweet and savory pastries , fruits . Clean swimming pool and there were always some sun beds available . Friendly staff .

Air con was a bit noisy ( especially at night ) People smoking cigarettes on their balconies .

Convenient location with great sea views, and within easy walking distance of the sea front tavernas and museum. Plenty of parking spaces. Great breakfast - decent coffee and very good pastries and salad. Very good pool - excellent for swimming lengths. Plenty to do in the vicinity - Balos, Falasarna, Polyrinia etc. Spacious room with large comfy bed. Laid back atmosphere - very quiet and relaxed. Kitchenette useful for self-catering when needed.

This was our second time in Crete and the first time we stayed at the Christina Beach Hotel in Kissamos. We felt at home, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We highlight the cleanliness of all the facilities and in particular the room. Breakfast: superlative! Excellent products and variety, the sea view to start the day was the best. The location in Kissamos is perfect and strategic to explore the island and visit the best beaches in Crete: Elaphonisis, Balos and Phalasarna. The Hotel is located on the beach a meters from the best restaurants in Kissamos, our favorite Kouzoumama. We definitely recommend the Chritina Beach Hotel and we will return!

Simple but comfortable hotel right on the sea. Large room with large comfortable bed and cleverly hidden kitchen area. Great balcony looking on to the sea. Lovely to be able to hear the sound of waves. Impressive swimming pool with bar area. Excellent breakfast. Lots of bars and tavernas just a few minutes walk away. Would come again.

Stoney beach in front of hotel but not a problem. Some wait for bar service but again, not really a problem.

The staff were exceptionally nice. The cleanliness was impeccable. The location was picturesque. The pool was spotless. It was lovely a quiet and peaceful. I'd highly recommend staying there.

It was a considerable distance from the airport. So expensive in a taxi. A suggestion might be to have a bus or coach option to and from the airport, which I would definitely avail of.

We had a sea view room and it was lovely to be so close. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was great and the air con was very effective. Some lovely restaurants along the sea front too.

The living area of the room was very bland. Some colour or a painting etc would make it more homely. Would be good to have some wine glasses in the kitchen. The lighting and ambience in the bar at night wasn’t very welcoming; needs to be less bright and softer. Would make it such a nicer place to go after dinner.
