The property is overall beautiful and in quite nice location relative to the beach. Of course you need car but this is the case for the whole area if you want to explore. It is located in the village which at times can be a bit noisy with motorcycles and cars passing by.

We were without internet for 2 days which was unfortunate but can happen. Stuff was quite nice and helpful but in some cases felt like some of them were inexperienced and left alone without knowing how to fulfil basic requests.

Being born in Greece might be luck, but finding a place that feels like home, even just for a short stay, is pure magic. Casa D'Irene is one of those rare finds. We spent 8 days there, and from the moment we arrived to when we reluctantly left, every staff member treated us like family. Eirini welcomed us with great tips upon arrival, and Eleni made sure we lacked nothing every single day. Even the cleaning crew were the friendliest we've ever met – you can tell they love working in hospitality and really enjoy each other's company. In short, the place is basically as far as you can get from a soulless resort, as it’s clearly run with love and great attention to detail. Aside from the amazing staff, we loved the location – a quick drive to both Falassarna and Kissamos, and a 3-minute stroll to a well-stocked supermarket and an awesome pita place. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh-squeezed orange juice, Greek and Cretan treats like feta cheese, olives, traditional omlettes and pastries. They even had a build-your-own-Dakos station! And don't get me started on the cakes and cookies – absolutely delicious. Our room was comfy and spotless, with a nice bed and great pillows. It felt newly renovated and was nice and quiet – we slept like logs every night. The pool area was great too – with umbrellas for shade, a small but nice pool, and it's quiet enough to just chill with a book or take a nap. All in all, I'd book again in a heartbeat. Can't wait to go back to Crete!

Some rooms had more spacious outdoor areas, which would've been nice to have, but honestly, it didn't bother us at all.

The room was spacious with nice shower and comfy bed with a good air con. The cleaners are so friendly and always make a nice effort to say hello. Above all, the best asset to this hotel are it’s people. Dimitri, Irene and Eleni are all amazing people who are passionate about having fun and looking after their guests! They rock!!

The hotel is beautifully designed, with a super aesthetic. Staff was great, super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. Our room even had a small kitchen area, which we didn't use during our stay, but would be great for families with smaller kids. Our plan when booking was to use the hotel as a base to explore the nearby beaches and cities, while still having a comfortable and welcoming place to return to each day. Casa D'Irene absolutely met our expectations, providing both convenience and a touch of luxury. One highlight of our trip was the nearby restaurant, which served some of the best food we had during our stay.

Since we traveled a bit late in the season, the pool and terrace didn’t get much sun during the day, which made the pool water too cold to fully enjoy. Additionally, the parking situation could be improved. Although it’s great that the hotel offers parking, it’s not the most convenient, especially considering the remote location where having a car is quite handy.

The staff were AMAIZING! Felt like home :) Breakfast was really good – good quality and everything you could want. Location is perfect, takes about 10 minutes to reach the beach with a car, there is a nice restaurant in the neighbour. Everything in the hotel including the room were perfectly clean.

Our room on the first floor was dark and we felt a lack of fresh air and daylight – there aren’t windows to the outdoors, only to indoor hotel corridor. Parking is about 100 m away, was quite difficult to drive in and out because of steep slope.

Quiet, very peaceful countryside location, convenient for trips to Falassarna beach (10 minutes by rental car or taxi) and Balos lagoon (ferry from Kissamos port). Nice taverns within walking or driving distance; we loved the authentic Cretan cuisine at Zaharias Taverna (5-10 minute walk). Our upper-floor room 203 was quietly located away from the pool/bar area and included a convenient kitchenette. Nice breakfast area.

Breakfast was tasty but could offer a few more options.

The welcoming was heart warming and very friendly. So as well our introduction into the whole hotel. Everything was comforting, well organized and gives ones a good feeling of vacation. The accommodation is located to reach some of the best beaches in Crete and the staff is very helpful to give nice advices. But one of the best things is that it is quite overall, except for a few goats and chickens which will wake you up for your morning call.

The breakfast could have a few more variations.

The hotel and the rooms are beautifully decorated and the ambiance in the hotel itself is very cozy. The breakfast options are good, and the staff is extremely helpful and kind. The pool area is very nice as well.

The parking lot of the hotel is in a very steep area so that makes it a bit difficult to park there, but the staff told us that we could also park in the street. The general location and neighbourhood of the hotel is not great, so that has an influence on the general atmosphere.

The Hotel is just amazing and the entire team is highly professional /very friendly and helpful (especially Irina and Eleni from the reception are so nice and funny). The entire hotel is very clean and the breakfast provides everything you need (even special wishes will be fulfilled without any questions). We had an amazing stay and we are looking forward to our next stay at this place :).

Beautiful hotel. The staff went out of their way to help us. The breaky was great and the restaurant had great food. The vegetarian pizza was the best pizza we have had travelling around Europe. There was a couch and a small kitchen in the room. The little clothes line outside our room was great to dry our bathers. The hotel thought of everything to make our stay so great

Everything was perfect
