The apartment was big and comfy for our needs, house cleaning was amazing and performed everyday to the highest standard. We had all the amenities for a pleasant stay ( cutlery, plates, paper towels etc). A surprise was also the view from the balcony since the location is not that close to the waterfront. Breakfast was good and had a good variety. There was a big parking lot and also street parking which made our stay more relaxing. Very good proximity to the port where you can go in day trips and also to the most impressive beaches in the western part of Crete.

For 3 out of 5 days of your stay we had no WIFI connection, being October we were in our room for more time so watching Netflix/Youtube on the TVs was near impossible. We made it clear that it didn't work but no action plan was done. The shower was also a problem since its "open-style" and it was very easy to make a mess in the bathroom. There was no bug-net for the bathroom.

Central location in Kissamos. We used the hotel as a overnight stay on the way from Elafonisi to Chania airport. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room ( a 2 bed apartment) was very big with two terraces - perfect for our group of two adults and two children (13 and 10) - we commented that we could have easily stayed there for a week! The only thing it lacked was a dish washer which wasn't a problem for one night. Despite it being low season the pool was clean and we did take advantage of it and the free pool towels provided.

Parking was on street parking outside the hotel or in the surrounding residential streets. In high season I imagine this could get quite busy/ difficult to park. There was some building work going on adjacent to the hotel (looked like construction of a new block), it wasn't too noisy though.

I'd be hard-pressed to think of a better customer service experience than what we witnessed at this hotel. We mentioned before our arrival that we'd be coming in on the 6 a.m. ferry with our 2 young daughters. When we arrived very early, we anticipated leaving our luggage at the front and killing the whole afternoon, but I was blown away when our room keys were waiting for us at reception and we were escorted to our room immediately. The whole staff was superb, but Helene, especially, was incredibly doting. Housekeeping was phenomenal; we never came back to a room that wasn't freshly-scrubbed. We slept wonderfully on the comfortable beds, the bathroom was very nice, kitchen and in-room washer great to have, and the A/C worked well. The pool area was very relaxing and the staff kindly let our girls borrow the pool toys a few times. To add a cherry on top, they helped us arrange late check-out so we could take our night ferry back to the mainland. This hotel was the highlight of our time in Crete and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Kissamos!

We had difficulties accessing and staying on WiFi throughout our stay. Not a big deal if you're in town to relax, but when we had to get some work done, it could be frustrating.

Everything! Comfortable, spacious, quiet and super clean and with the happiest staff I have ever experienced. Excellent breakfast, gorgeous pool. Easy walk to the village and beach. Huge balconies with stunning water views at the front and back! We had just walked out of a truly horrifying hotel nearby and checked into Sapphire Blue and the two properties were incomparable despite having the same price point. We knew immediate that we had won the hotel lottery!

The staff is truly friendly. The breakfast is fine - comparing with a 4 star hotel in Crete, the one served by Sapphire is better. (salted and sweet dishes). A high appreciation for the coffee served. It is not the specific coffee at the machine as in majority hotels, it's prepared with quality coffee and milk. The location is new and spotless clean. If I come back one day, for sure I would choose again. More than this, if you want to visit the west beaches 🌊of Crete, Kissamos is a strategic point. The suite is equipped with enough tools for cooking.

Very modern, well organized and clean. Staff was lovely and helpful, providing great advice and suggestions for dinner and beach / day trips. One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. Very cosy, comfy and with all the facilities and luxuries one needs.

Air conditioning was not working, although staff was quite helpful to try to figure out why. Location is good to a certain extent, because within 40min/1h we can reach multiple beaches and famous attractions like Topolia, Elafonisi, Balos, Falassarna. However, I have to admit Kissamos is not that a charming place for a night walk or a vibrant ambiance. The restaurants around like Gramboussa or Tsengas fish tavern compensate though :) it is not the hotel’s fault.

Amazing service They offered to dry our clothes!! There’s a washing machine and they gave us powder!! Didn’t charge for any of that. Very kind people especially Elaine was very kind and helpful The hotel itself was very good also- good amenities Breakfast was good, made hot drinks with alternative drinks. This place is definitely at least 4 star and will soon become that, if not 5 star. Really affordable at the moment.

The staff where amazing and would bend over backwards to do anything for you. We booked for one night and decided to stay for another 😍 The hotel is lush not one thing I could say bad about it, nice pool comfy sun loungers and the rooms are fully equipped, stylish comfy and spacious 😊

It was perfect! We were 2 adults and 2 children 11 and 12 years old. The apartment was so big and there was everything you need. Two big balcony’s and so much space. Ocean view. Close to the sea and restaurants. Wonderful pool. Great staff. Thanks!

Everything was spectacular, the room was huge, the staff was super attentive (on the day of check out they offered a coffee and some breakfast items even though they weren't included). Very good restaurants close by. For sure we will be back, keep going with the good work

the only negative point was the smart tv that I couldn't connect to any app, I asked for help and it was promptly assisted but after trying it, it still didn't work. the wifi wasn't the best either, but it didn't affect our stay at all
