loved the sunrise view! super nice staff, Lila especially. they had prepared the villa with Toys for the kids. the breakfast was more than expected and just perfect. The Heated plunge pool was a treat in the cool evenings. quite enough that it feels you are away from the hustle but close enough to Imerovigli and Fir to be in the action within 5 mins

The eds were a bit hard.

Panos was easy to talk to and accommodating. This place is especially great for families with little kids as the area is big and they have provided some toys. Very convenient location as you can walk to bus stops easily and there’s also a nearby grocery shop. Awesome view of the eastern side of the island while we enjoyed our breakfast.

The place has a slight aged and worn in spots, but they keep it well cleaned and still got a nice vibe about it that made our stay enjoyable.

Close to town, close to the Fira-Oia trail, removed from the tourist sections of town, easy access to the rest of the island, quiet, super clean, wonderful breakfast, lots of hot water, comfy bed, EXCELLENT HOST! Effimia was super communicative and always available for support. She helped arrange a rental car, port transportation, and gave excellent restaurant recommendations (Lava Taverna was our best meal on the trip!)

While it is lovely to have your own spa, the temperature limitations keep it too cool for our enjoyment.

Location was a bit challenging to get to eg. Imerovigli as there is no footpath and you need to either climb uphill for 20min or walk among the cars. The wifi in the room was quite poor at times.

Clean place. Towels replaced when requested.Breakfast being brought to the room is a bonus. Except the last day when we were vacating the premises, it arrived a few minutes after the allocated time. All very good. Fresh cut fruit was the best part as was the Greek Yogurt with honey and walnut.

The shower has no closure. Makes it a wet room, when it is not ! The breakfast bench we moved to eat in the shade. The jacuzzi has no switch to turn off overnight and only the Jet1 option turns on and off.

Everything was great! We were looking for a beautiful place to enjoy the island and also to rest and charge our batteries. The staff is super kind, spacious apartment, perfect location and amazing breakfast served everyday to your room! Thank you 🙏

This property is mind blowing- the Hospitality of the Team Members at Athiri- is a different level, You feel at home! Lila- And other two other workers- were continuously helping us with something or the other! The owner asked us about our stay and to make sure we were served well!

We loved everything, the staff was super nice, helpful, with many amazing tips and suggestions, we had amazing view to Oia from one side of our room, everyone was extremly kind. We loved our stay here.

Athiri was the perfect place to relax and get away from the crowds. The room was clean and cozy and each room had it's own small jacuzzi and private balcony/patio area. Themis (the manager) went above and beyond to make my stay the best, from arranging airport transport at midnight (and allowing me to check in so late) to the amazingly delicious daily breakfast that he cooks himself!! He truly makes this place exceptional!

The hotel is on the main street, so traffic noise can be a little loud at certain parts of the day, but was not noticeable at night.

This hotel is managed by a man that knows how to multitask. The staff consists of just him and a housekeeper. This however, is no impediment for him to be his best. Themis is super attentive to his guests needs, and is very knowledgeable about the area. You ask for any guidance and he sends you to the best options. He made our stay very comfortable and pleasant.

The location is a bit out of the way to all beaches and downtown thira and Oia. In a nutshell, if you want to go to Thira, you can walk on the trail for 30 minutes. 1 hour to Oia. this hotel however, is perfect if you rent a car or an atv. It is private, quiet and although there is no ooomph, per say, it is comfortable, personable and nice.
