The room was exceptional. Location isn’t walkable to anywhere, but they have a car that Ricardo, who is great, would use to drive you into town and back for less than a taxi ride or Uber. Staff is amazing! Ricardo did absolutely everything to make our stay the best! Irene, the owner, was there to check us in and every day of our stay. She is wonderful and so kind! Our room was excellent and having breakfast every morning on our patio before jumping in for a quick dip in the pool was wonderful.

The lack of walk ability bc of the location. We’re more sunset than sunrise people so it facing east wasn’t our favorite. And that’s if we’re nitpicking honestly.

The hotel is very good value for the money. The room is very good and the staff is extremely helpful and willing to make your stay as good as possible. They arranged reservations for restaurants every night and arranged transfer whenever required. The breakfast in the room is really nice. The hotel is located in a very central area close to every place you might want to go but not in the middle of the touristic mess.

The hotel lacks a restaurant or cafe so if you decide to stay at the hotel during the day, your lunch options are limited. Same if you want to have a coffee in the afternoon. You have a nespresso machine in your room but they don't have any milk. We kept the milk from the breakfast in our fridge or the yogurt to eat later in the day.

The staff and room were very nice. Both interior and exterior areas were clean and well cared and organized. The staff genuinely tried to understand our needs and made the late check in/out very smooth. To stay on this property I recommend to rent a small car to easily drive through the narrow and curvy streets. Free private parking is available.

There is only sunrise view, no sunset (but it was expected because of the location and orientation of the property). The only downside of the stay was the breakfast. It is ok but for the price and quality of the stay it should be more "refined" and have some more options.

We got an upgrade to the Grand Suite and the heated pool in September was really nice! However I would’ve preferred an unspoiled view instead, because we had an electricity pole in front of our pool that was really annoying. Bed was very comfortable and the place was very clean.

Some details were missing for 5* luxury. We always had to ask for more water or new coffee pods. There was no body lotion. The shower gel bottle was from a premium brand but inside..cheap shower gel! An ugly electricity pole right in the middle of our view ruined it and all our pictures. Details, but really make the difference for a 5* experience.

I recently stayed at one of the best hotels I've ever visited. Besides the stunning views, beautiful pool, stylish room, and delicious breakfast, what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive; it was clear that guest satisfaction was their top priority. I've traveled regularly, but I've never experienced such outstanding hospitality. If I return to Santorini, this hotel will be my only choice. While it is located on a fairly large hill, taxis are available at a reasonable price for those who may have mobility issues. The serene atmosphere and breathtaking views made for the perfect relaxing getaway. It's evident that everyone here is dedicated to providing a memorable experience, and they truly pour their hearts into their work. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect

The propose of our trip to Santorini was relax and our stay at Siete Mares facilitated that to a T. Our room was exceptional and the views were out of this world. We had the luxury of having our own private pool which allowed us to relax during the day and wonder into specific areas at night. Although there’s no restaurant available, we used the Wolt App to order lunch each day. The accommodation provides transport to and from different areas which personally, made our trip. We would simply message the times we wanted collected and where we wanted to go. We were then collected at our chosen time. Outstanding service that we are so grateful for. Finally, we had a late flight and the staff went over and above to ensure we were as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

Absolutely nothing. An outstanding experience from start to finish.

Siete Mares is a stunning place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and immaculately decorated and the private pool was fantastic. The views of the sea are lovely and you get a beautiful sunrise view. Myself and my friend had done some travelling around Greece and wanted to spend 4 days relaxing, and that’s exactly what we did. The staff were very friendly and on hand with anything needed.

As others have said, if you want to be close to the action then it is at least 30mins walk up a very steep hill to Imerovigli. However, I’ve visited Santorini 3 times before so enjoyed a more secluded place to just unwind and relax. There’s no restaurants nearby but you can use the delivery app WOLT if don’t want to get a taxi out to the towns. On another note, we found breakfast was limited and could be improved. It’s the same every day and would be good to mix it up. Again, as mentioned by others, no milk provided for the coffee machine.

Draining in the bathroom is clogging

Loved the pool larger than expected. Great view. Really comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic breakfast. We absolutely love George who delivered our breakfast every day with a great smile. What a great personality and great asset. Although this is a little bit remote there are a couple of restaurants just down the hill. But this area was incredibly peaceful and quiet and a perfect start to our holiday.

The showers were cold. We did go and ask at reception for help but they sent someone in to check and just said that the showers were warm. We do know how to use showers and these definitely weren’t anywhere near hot. Probably about 21°. Slightly warmer than the pool that wasn’t heated. Would have been nice to have been given more coffee pods for the coffee machine. We had 2 on arrival. We did have 2 tea bags and 2 herbal teas and 4 sachets of coffee every day, although there was no milk, feels a little bit tight not to give coffee pods every day as well. These were offered for sale at 1.5 euro each.

The room is just amazing, and the bed is extremely comfortable. You have everything you need, fridge, kettle, hair dryer are all provided. The private pool is a real luxury. Breakfast is brought to your room every morning and is lovely. If you need anything the staff will provide it, they are all lovely.

The only thing I would say is that you are away from everything, you can't walk anywhere so you are reliant on lifts from the staff just to go for dinner, drinks or supermarket which is fine as they provide this service but it does cost so it is an added expense. Having said that our driver was so lovely and provided some good tips, advice and a few laughs!!
