The staff were exceptionally helpful and warm. The bed was very comfortable. Free pick up and drop off from the airport. Beautiful views from the breakfast area. Lovely pool area with phenomenal views. Great value for money.

Location although it seems to be only 25-30 minutes walk from Mykonos town, the streets are unfortunately not pedestrianised so its not very safe to walk. Taxis from and to Mykonos town are very expensive (between 36-40 euros per way) for a 6-8 minutes journey. If you do have a car this is a wonderful property.

This place is a real gem. Far enough from the hustle to have a relaxed holiday with a great view and services, but close enough to enjoy the city vibes and reach the dowtown, the port and the airport. Extremly kind stuff and owner, who came to pick us up at the port personally, and was driving us at the end to the airport. The pool, the restaurant, the garden and the rooms are super clean, tastefully decorated , comfortable, big and enjoy a fantastic view. The breakfast area along with the restaurant is amazing as well, rich breakfast and great variety for eating all day. Special thanks to Vivi at the reception, who gave us great advises for the island , and always had a smile when meeting her. We will def retun to Mykonos, and stay at Aletro again.

Met by the wonderful ViVi on reception - All aspects of the hotels amenities were explained and additional information for places to see/visit whilst on Mykonos island. The pool area was simply beautiful and boutique in style. The room was spotlessly clean and lots of additional extras - Quality Toiletries, Shaving kit, Iron & Board - the staff and owners Effie and Yannis were extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional, all went above and beyond to make our stay with them at Aletro Cottage Houses perfect.

The property was clean, quaint and beautiful inside and out, we spoke to the owner who was amazing along with the staff around her husbands architectural touch to the buildings and the room was truly amazing.

It truly was an easy, relaxing and wonderful stay. Thank you, would highly recommend and hopefully would go back here again one day on my merry travels.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The setting is truly breathtaking, with views of the ocean from the pool, bar and restaurant. Every inch inside and out is clean and beautifully kept. Every member of staff is the loveliest, most helpful, warm kind of person you could hope to meet. It's close to the town without being in the hubbub. The breakfast is delicious and varied, and they even provided me with gluten free bread (without any advance warning - but I'd suggest you get in touch beforehand to let them know, I think I lucked out that there was another GF person there!) The room itself was so comfortable and beautiful! The bed was big and comfy, the shower had incredible water pressure and consistent temperature. Clean and pristine, I really can't fault it. It's a lovely walk to town (be aware it's steep hills/steps) and the most stunning location you could ask for. It feels incredibly safe for a solo traveller (although I was wary of walking home late alone, maybe overly cautious! If you feel the same, it's easy to arrange transfer or grab a taxi). The pool is beautiful, very well looked after and with an incredible scenic backdrop, as well as lovely seating areas around - sunbeds, sofas, restaurant bar, comfy bean bags... Everything you could dream of. If you're having any doubts put them away and book now!

If I absolutely HAD to say something as a teeny tiny drawback is that it could be a touch closer to beaches. There's a little beach within about a 20 minute walk, but more well-known, larger beaches are quite a way away. That being said, you can easily walk from the hotel/town to a lovely big beach within 1-2 hours, OR get the super convenient transfer (or they can help you book a taxi!) or hop on a bus, and you can be there within 20 minutes. Also worth pointing out that the walk back to the hotel from the town is very steep and very uphill. Not at all a problem for me, but it's good to know beforehand!

All the staff made us feel super welcome and relaxed at Aletro. Vivi was very helpful at check-in, drawing out on a map recommendations for us on the Island. Chryssa's service is top notch, she's super responsive and makes fab cocktails! The rooms are well thought out and spacious with great AC. The pool is very refreshing and the area around the pool is a beautiful place to relax with amazing views out to sea. Walking into Mykonos town is an easy 20 mins downhill. Overall a great stay, we would definitely recommend!

The cottages were beautiful. The surroundings and views are stunning and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The only negative part was that it is a 25/30 minute walk down to the main town and not a very nice walk due to uneven roads and cast driving quite fast. The price for a taxi is very expensive. The hotel provide their own shuttle service to and from the town but this is also expensive.

They had a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The driver lady was incredibly polite, I think she was the owner of the business there. The breakfast was good. The view from this hotel was nice.

The location was about half an hour away from the city center. There is a steep hill, if you have a vehicle you will have an advantage.

Real boutique hotel with a lovely friendly owner and team. Rooms were unique and well appointed, Fabulous water pressure in the shower! Great pool and lounge area and the breakfast was superb. Great pick up and drop off experience from the port.

We liked that it was out of the main town of Mykonos so you could get away from the hustle and bustle, While only a 20 min walk it did mean you walking on the roadside for a little way.

Beautiful and cozy accommodation.

The owner was very annoying at breakfast. She made a comment about immigrants and letting “them”, into the country. She also came out and yelled at us to move our cars to the parking lot, some hospitality professionals ask politely. I also had a bit of a discussion with one of the receptionists who asked me to message in WhatsApp and said the messages on Booking.com were not working.
