Spyros made everything so nice for our holiday. He went beyond what you would expect to make our stay as ideal as possible. The cafe and seating areas are beautiful and so relaxing and the rooms were perfect each with its own little outdoor space for that first cup of tea or reading.

The location is a little out of the way with the nearest beach and amenities a 20 minute walk which would be fine normally but they are quite narrow difficult road. Hiring a car is a must so it wasnt a problem for us and we enjoyed trying new beaches and restaurants.

This place is truly special, thanks to the amazing hospitality shown by Spiros and Hope. Spiros helped us find the best beaches and restaurants away from the crowds to really experience the beauty of the island. The cafe was a wonderful place to come back to and relax with a drink in the evenings after a day at the beach and to have a delicious leisurely breakfast to start the day. This is the place to come if you want to find the authentic, bohemian side of Mykonos and to experience Greek hospitality at its best. The rooms are lovely, spacious with a contemporary take on traditional style and have all the comforts you need - great shower, fluffy towels. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

We have seen many places in many years, but our stay at Baba Houlakia definitely is among the most outstanding ones. And this is not only for the wonderful garden with palm trees, hammock, deck chairs, etc. - it is for the people! Elpida, Spyros and the whole team are so heartily people who will take care that your stay in Houlakia and on Mykonos will be as perfect as possible. Their hospitality is exceptional and we enjoyed the small talk and nice exchange every day. You can rely on their tips and they will help you with advice for any need. The suite is nicely equipped with cosy furniture and a nice veranda where you can enjoy the sunset. A perfect place, just a bit remote so that you´ll need a means for transportation, ATV, bike or a car. By foot you will need 15 minutes to Agios Stefanos beach with mini market and restaurants. You can also have breakfast, snacks and drinks at Baba Houlakia - all very tasty!

There was nothing we did not like about this place and its hospitable people!

The rooms/bungalows were nicely painted on the outside, the property seemed very well maintained and had beautiful and colourful plants and trees that were well taken care of and added to the overall charm. The materials used around the property were mostly natural and showed a lot of care and thought put into it. We had a little partial view of the sea (which is across the main road where the property is located) from the front porch which was very nice. The property was quiet and calm. The room inside was spacious, including a separate hallway/large sitting area with a corner couch and TV, and a big fridge. The bathroom was also spacious, with a nice shower with good water pressure, all very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and polite.

Personally, I have a back pain so the bed mattress was a bit too hard and the pillows not particularly suited for that, however if you don't have this problem then it shouldn't be an issue.

The place is beautiful and the rooms also. You have right in front a rocky beach where you can swim and it’s wonderful to wake up to. It has a cafe with very nice cocktails and breakfast. Spyros is the best host ever, he is super attentive and kind and pays attention to every detail to make your stay perfect. Thank you so much!!

Spyros was the nicest and most facilitating host that we've ever had anywhere. Started our stay by going through a map and recommending different spots around the island, as well as arranging our transport rentals. He is a host that goves above and beyond! Also a beautiful property, and not a single complaint, completely made our trip!

The place is very pretty, the room very big and the bathroom was very nice. We did like everything. We were four days/five nights there and everyday the cleaning lady cleaned the room, she was very friendly too. . Spyros at the reception is such a nice person, friendly, welcoming, helpful in everything we asked him. It was my birthday, so my husband asked him beforehand if he could have a cake for that morning and he did. My hubby surprised me with a lovely, delicious chocolate cake. :) Thank you Spyros. We did rent a car for those days and so we could explore the island, when we went to the city (Old Port, Little Venice, Chora, Windmills) we drove until the free parking right before the old port. From there you can walk everywhere.

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Spyros was so welcoming & helpful since our late arrival. The rooms are clean and comfortable & there is great swimming beach out the front. It is in the most peaceful corner on Mykonos, but still only a few minutes via scooter to town. Breakfast & coffee in their cafe was also spot on

Everything was excellent, Spiros and Elpida are doing the extra mile to make your stay amazing. The area is very quiet and atmosphere is relaxing, everything is done with taste. You’ll need a car to get there, but I’d recommend hiring a car for Mykonos anyway. We particularly liked our drinks in the evening at the terrace overlooking the sea and sunset. Very clean, spacious rooms. You can swim just in front of the hotel, but will need to drive to visit a proper beach.

Nothing probably if they had a twin room, it would be more comfortable for us (travelling with a friend) but we didn’t ask for it tbh

Best place to stay in Mykonos! The hotel is very nice and cozy, right in front of a quiet stone beach! Perfect if you want to enjoy the quiet side of the island. Spyros is an amazing host, very kind and always smiling, he does everything to make you feel at home. His cocktails are the best, definitively a must try!
