There is nothing I could possibly fault about this hotel, everything was perfect!! We had three rooms: 2 partial ocean views for our adult children and an ocean view room for ourselves. The rooms provided every convenience needed, the beds were super comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Our ocean-view room had a beautiful view from within the room and on the private terrace (it was so lovely to sit outside with a drink in the morning and at sunset) - I highly recommend this room! Our kids loved their rooms also. The breakfast was absolutely delicious: many yummy treats and a great way to start the day. And, the warm and welcoming hospitality from Spiros was second to none, you couldn't ask for a better host :)

Everything was perfect

Very central, lovely hosts who are very helpful and knowledgeable and provided great recommendations and arranged our port transfers. Spiros and his family are absolute gems and work so hard for all their guests. Fantastic air con and lovely little terrace to enjoy an early evening glass of wine. Close to super restaurants and a supermarket and on the beach virtually. Super comfy beds, slept like a baby.

Nothing, it was great. In hindsight if I had to book again I would book 2 separate rooms for our family of four including 2 teens age 13 and 17. The two bedroom apt is ideal for a family with small children but we are effectively 4 adults who need more space and 2 bathrooms. This didn’t affect our stay though we just had to be more organised with our belongings and at shower time.

The location is perfect…very close to the beach and a short stroll to the port centre, restaurants, bars, shops etc. The daily breakfast was extensive with a selection of delicious, freshly cooked items each morning. The owners Spiros & Fouli treated us like family. Nothing was too much trouble for them or their team. We stayed 11 nights and absolutely loved it to the point of sharing a tear on departure. We will never forget our stay at Georgia Mare or the incredible hospitality and kindness we were afforded. We can only dream of returning one day.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly Welcome from the owner Spiros who made us feel like we were family. He was very informative on where to go, what to do, made reservations for us. The daily breakfast was amazing, a huge variety of food. The location is fabulous, 1/2 blk to the beach which we could see from our room balconies. My family had the 3 rooms on the roof that had a huge patio which is perfect when all three rooms are occupied by family/friends. I would highly recommend staying at Georgia Mare. We would definitely go back. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Well if there is ever a place to stay in Naxos this is it. Spiros, his wife and the team were incedible. From the first 5 minutes we were there they set a high standard. Lots of goodies on arrival. It felt like we were greeted by family and made to feel so welcome. Great tips provided about where to go and eat and what to do. Spacious and very clean room. Breakfast was delightful and that Naxion Greek Yogurt is the best ever - just like cream. Lots of home made breakfast items - a real feast. Close to the beach, the port and bus services to travel around the Island.

There is absolutely nothing

Our visit at Georgia Mare was our favorite on our trip through Greece! Spiros and his staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We stayed in the semi-basement room but don’t let that fool you, we had a comfortable patio, easy access to the breakfast room and the added benefit of being able to enter and exit through the first floor. The location was perfect!!! We were able to walk the short distance from the ferry on arrival and departure days. The hotel was less than a minute walk to the beach where there were multiple beach clubs to choose from. We also walked into Old Town several times a day for dinners, snacks and shopping. Spiros also took the time to mark several favorites on a map that made it super easy for us to get around. We didn’t notice any self service laundry close by but Spiros again helped us with a laundry service, large bag of clothes washed, dried and folded within a few hours. And the best part….the breakfast!!! Beautiful buffet every morning with freshly baked traditional items, fruit, yogurt, eggs, vegetables, cheeses and more. Delicious!! Thanks again to Georgia Mare for making our time in Naxos memorable.

Wouldn’t change a thing.

Spiros made our stay there perfect! From all of our travels, we have never met an owner more hospitable than Spiros. He took our luggage to our room, he recommended places for us to eat, and he recommended beaches to visit. He was very attentive, and all of the guests there all feel very well taken care of. I would most definitely come back again and stay at his hotel. The breakfast each morning was amazing, with homemade baked pastries and Greek traditional foods. There was so much food!

We wished that there was a streaming service on the tv, so we could watch shows at night. The channels were in Greek, and we do not understand Greek.

I had communicated with Spiros prior to our check in and I knew this place was going to be great. On checking in he was so warm and welcoming. He gave us so much information and really went the extra mile to make us feel good. Our room was great. Big bed. Balcony for afternoon drinks looking towards the sea. Good air conditioning. Kettle for our early morning cup of tea. Lovely clean white linen and fluffy towels. If there was anything we needed Spiros was there. He gave us his card and said at anytime we needed anything just call him. It was like having our own family member on hand in Naxos, which is good in case anything went wrong. (Which it didn’t). There is a fantastic breakfast included which has something for everyone. The lady who cooks bakes all kinds of beautiful cakes,biscuits, desserts, as well a hot savoury dishes including scrambled eggs. She even went out of her way to cook us fried eggs every morning which is not on the menu. You must try the Naxiam yogurt. It’s the best I have ever tried. Oh yum! The hotel is located within walking distance to the ferry port and there is a beach just steps away with lots of places to eat and drink. All in all this is a wonderful place to stay if you want a real family feeling place and a personal touch that is hard to find.

It’s very minor but the shower space is a little tight but the water pressure and heat are great.

5 stars!!! We really enjoyed our stay at Georgia Mare. The hotel was beautiful, very very clean, rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, the best we’ve had in Greece. Huge variety of tasty food with a lot of homemade pastry’s, cakes yogurts. Our host Spiros was fantastic! When we arrived he welcomed us with a big smile and helped us settle in and feel at home. He provided us with many useful information about the island. Restaurants, cafes, bars and a lot of interesting history of the Island. Spiros puts great passion and care in what he does and we felt very welcomed. He is the heart and soul of this beautiful hotel. If you come to Naxos we strongly recommend this hotel.

Spiros the owner was a wonderful host and he bent over backwards for us. Perfect location near the beach and easy walk to the port and restaurants.

We rented a 2 bed suite. The double room was lovely but the twin was tiny and had no storage or even somewhere to put our cases. The bathroom had no shower door on the shower and no window for ventilation so everything was soaking wet. Having said that the cleaner did come every day to mop up and replaced the wet towels so it wasn’t so bad.
