Staying at Kymata was a wonderful experience, one I can recommend to anyone. The hotel an older family owned hotel by a typical modest Greek family, very friendly and helpful. Mama is fantastic and with a smile always helping. At the front desk Popi and Maria were wonderful and very informed. They couldn’t do enough. We sat on the streets in the evenings in front of the hotel and had drinks, breakfast was lovely, welcome drinks were served on our arrival, and Mama gave us a box of nougat when we left, all round the Kymata contributed to our wonderful say in Naxos! Our stay here was exceptional. I have never before stayed at a place where the hospitality was so warm and accomodating. The owners and reception staff bent over backwards to make sure our stay was comfortable. Every request was attended to promptly and with a smile. We had an issue with the shower head and that same day a plumber came out and replaced the shower head. The place is spotless, immaculate! The breakfast was true home cooked delicious food. The location was one minutes walk to the beach or a 5 minute walk to the port area and old Market street. At night the place was whisper quiet. It was honestly a wonderful place to stay. We were there for 5 nights. A special shout out to Maria who was so knowledgeable, helpful and always smiled. We used all her recommendations.

I was welcome by the family with Turkish delight and a shot of the local liquor - was really lovely after a long journey. Rooms were homey and had everything I needed. The breakfast was delicious and all home made. Also close to the beach and easy walking distance to the port with my luggage.

Had to ask for a top sheet as not standard but they were happy to oblige. No milk but easily remedied as shop in the street. These are probably cultural differences in expectations so happy to go with it as a lovely Greek family run hotel.

I had such a wonderful experience during my stay! I felt so welcomed by everyone - Anna, Demetri and their son were so kind and welcoming. Anna made such a wonderful delicious breakfast everyone morning. Maria and Popi who worked at the front desk were so kind and helpful with any questions I had, and suggested some wonderful nearby activities and restaurants. The room was cozy and clean, and a great location that’s walking distance to beach and nearby seaside restaurants. I will definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Naxos!

Great location right next to St George beach. Breakfast was fantastic - the owners, Popi and Maria are all very attentive to guests and are always helpful. The hotel has a lot of character and marble :) It truly feels like a Greek experience, like you are staying with you family which we very much appreciated. The hotel is a short walk to the city center with beautiful views all around. We hope to be back to Naxos soon and will for sure stay with Kymata again!

From arriving and being greeted by ‘Papa’ and a complimentary Naxonin drink, the holiday followed and was a fantastic. Kymata is owned and run by an authentic Greek family, with Polly and Maria so knowledgeable and eager to help we got to eat, sea and swim at all the right places. We sat in the road having sundowners and lived the life with a balance of being local and a tourist. Breakfast was delicious to start each day

All staff were very polite welcoming and nice people. The traditional Greek breakfast buffet was exceptionally good. location perfect and everything we asked for was given to us immediately. Poppy and Sofia at the reception were very helpful and gave us good information about everything. Connected us with car rental. The view from the room was amazing and it was always clean and neat. Had a little Balcony too. Thank you Anna, Dimitri, Popy, Sofia, Jenny and Marika. If we knew it is that good we would have planned a longer stay.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was simple but sufficient. Our room had a wonderful balcony to relax on. The biggest plus for us was the staff. We arrived before 1pm and Poppy let us checkin early and was super welcoming and friendly. There was also an incredibly sweet Greek grandma who didn’t speak any English who was there to welcome us and see us out when we checked out. We were offered Greek loukoumi and the green naxian liqueur (kitron) when we arrived, and the Greek grandma gave us a small bag of Greek loukoumi as a parting gift when we checked out. There was also an older Greek man who’d sit by reception and always said bye to us whenever we went out for the day. Overall amazing experience, the facilities were perfect and the staff made this a place I would 100% come back to next time I’m in Naxos.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kymata Hotel. As soon as you walk in you feel like family, the rooms are comfortable and the hotel itself is in the perfect spot. It’s a little out of the hussle and bussle but an easy 5 minute walk into town. Lovely swim spots less than a minute walk from the front door and a few restaurants even closer if you don’t feel like walking too far. We were sad to leave!
