Absolutely everything, from the friendly check in, staff, to the friendly check out. Exceptionally clean, quiet accommodation very close to the best beaches, with cheap chairs and umbrellas, heaps of restaurants, a few shops, and only a 10 minute drive into the main town of Chora, which has a huge amount of shops and restaurants, bus stop 300 metres away. Beautiful pool, kept in pristine condition, highly recommend, I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful! We wished we had stayed longer! The staff (who I think are all family) are amazing, very friendly & helpful & so hard working! They are always out & about, cleaning or maintaining the grounds. The hotel is a delight! We had a room that opened out onto a little patio right next to the pool. I love the pink & purple flowers climbing the walls, it looks stunning! Sitting by the pool is lovely but you’re also only a short walk (8-10mins) from one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen! There’s also more than enough shops & restaurants to keep you on this side of the island if that’s what you want. Getting around is easy though - the closest local bus stop is only 5mins walk away.

The only small gripe we had is with the shower in our room. It was very small & the shower curtain wasn’t long enough so no matter how careful you were, water got everywhere! The bathroom floor was drenched after each shower. Only a small thing though & the good points absolutely outweighed the bad.

A wonderful, truly 'family run' hotel with on-site owners who take great pride in ensuring that everything is as perfect as possible. There was a generally calm and relaxed atmosphere which was delightful. The level of cleanliness everywhere was faultless. The pool is the best maintained and cared-for pool we have ever experienced and the surrounding bougainvillea is beautiful. Our apartment was pool-side and we had a generous outside dining area which was fully shaded. There was a very useful discreet drying area too. You can order drinks, lunch and snacks at the pool. The beach is about an 8-minute walk using the short cut and it takes a similar time to walk to town in the evening (uphill on the return). There's a small supermarket, two laundry services and a great bakery in the town, as well as a large selection of restaurants. The hotel has a large parking area.

The hotel is gradually upgrading rooms and our apartment was 'economy' level so it was rather bland, especially the second bedroom which has very little storage provision. However this was not a problem for us because we didn't intend to use the second bedroom and the excellent level of cleanliness and care could not be faulted. The bed was a little too hard for us but the hotel immediately provided a topper which completely solved the problem.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning Proteas hotel and it was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The location is perfect, just steps away from a pristine beach with crystal-clear waters and soft golden sands. The views from my room were absolutely breathtaking, offering a panorama of the Sea. The rooms are spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep after days spent exploring the island. What really set this hotel apart, though, was the service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. They were always available with a smile. Their genuine care made the experience feel personal and intimate. Breakfast was absolutely delicious too.

The property was very clean. The pool was lovely. Staff were pleasant but not as welcoming as other places we stayed in Greece.

The shower water wasn’t warm. I only had one warm shower in 4 nights. While the weather was warm, it was still annoying not to be able to shower in warm water after a long day at the beach. Also other guests reserving multiple tables at breakfast time was frustrating (they weren’t eating - just one person holding each table for over an hour claiming their families were coming). Instead we ate breakfast out each day. Maybe the staff could nicely tell them if they are not ordering to move on? This would allow others to eat in the time they are sitting there claiming their families are coming as the seating was very limited.

Little gem of a hotel. Room immaculate. Great shower. 7 mins to beach 15 mins to main centre. This is a lovely hotel with lovely staff: Very chilled place with a good pool and beds. Slept so well. All areas spotless and pool guy was cheerful and made sure all was clean and working. Would return and try the delicious food they were serving. Just outside resort area which worked for us. 10 mins from supermarket and lovely bakery for bread and pastries. 🥐 Naxos is a fabulous island. We prefer it over rated Santorini. The old town is a bus ride away and is worth a visit, and the Italian restaurant on the front is a shout. (Amici’s)

We stayed here for 4 nights for our honeymoon in one of the suites (room 7). It is a sensational room with amazing views from the balcony. The location is great, only a 10 minute walk into Agios Prokopios and there is a bus stop 2 minute walk away to get into Chora (but remember to buy bus tickets from the supermarket, as they don’t sell them on the bus). The staff were fantastic and very helpful and the property was really well looked after. We would 100% return.

Not too many sunbeds around the pool, but with the beach being so close I guess there is no need.

Everything about this stunning place was just stunning .We were overwhelmed by everything here .We were greeted by a lovely young man and then taken to our room ! It turned out to be a studio to sleep 3 .There we’re two of us 😊It was a really big room with a little kitchen area complete with a fridge and hot plates Everything was spotless from the beds,floors and the large private balcony .The pool was lovely and well equipped with sunbeds ,deckchairs and little table And towels . The whole building had beautiful flowers everywhere . Without doubt a really lovely happy place and way exceeded our expectations .

Sometime we thought it would be appreciated if there was some occasional quiet background music .

When you book blindly on here you're always a little concerned about whether you've booked a doozy or a nightmare. Take it from me, if you book this hotel you'll be thrilled. Even more so if you book the flaming enormous Sea View Suites like we did. The staff are fantastic, the hotel has a real family feel to it, and the facilities are excellent. The pool is very (very!) deep though so I wouldn't recommend it for children. I would say that the shallow end is around 5' deep and I have no idea how deep the other end is other than that word again - very. Twelve sun loungers around the pool meant that there was always a spare one when we wanted it and some of them are in permanent shade which suited me perfectly. The hotel is probably a ten to fifteen minute walk from the main village and beach and that walk is on roads with no pavement so can feel a little hairy at times. All part of the fun though. There's a couple of tavernas and bars on the way back up from town to break the journey up too.

Amazing holiday gem. Family run hotel with a super efficient system in an excellent location with the highest cleanliness we have seen in 2 weeks trip across Greece. The rooms are very large and super clean. The team at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The girl at the coffee counter in the morning is super. 5 minutes walk to the beach and 5 mints drive to supermarket and 15 mint to town.

They clean the room everyday which is great but for a sustainable life would be great if they do it only on request!
