Delfini is a transit hotel that , in my opinion, responds to this purpose very well. Location is perfect, just 100 m from the Karaiskaki bus stop. We took the bus X96 from Athens Airport and in 90 minutes we arrived at Karaiskaki bus stop. From there just 2 minutes to the hotel. Also it was perfect for us that Gate 7 for the ferry to Syros is just about 80 m from Delfini hotel, so next day it was very easy for us to go to ferry. The ladies from the reception are very nice.

Ok I booked my trip to the Greek islands back in July. If someone had said there will be a ferry strike at Piraeus on the 13 of September who would have believed that? Not many I'll tell ya. So Here I am flight booked ready to go, I need an overnight stay in Piraeus after a quick look I spotted the Delfini excellent location for ferry just 5minutes walk to gate 8. It was clean nothing special a little bit noisy but hey it got me out of a tight spot

I've been staying here for years with my family on our way to or from the islands. It's a simply hotel, centrally located very close to the docks and boats. The rooms are on the small side (we always take a family room for the 4 of us) but good enough for one night. The family room on the top floor has a big balcony with a view of the boats. Great for a last beer before going to bed. There are loads of cafes and restaurants around for a meal.

Great location in Piraeus. The room is nice and the double bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and it was good value for one night before the ferry.

Yes we can hear the music from the nightclubs (Saturday night) but it didn't last till very late and it didn't stop us from falling asleep.

Great value for money! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect right next to the port where the boats come and go for the islands. Close to bars, restaurants and shops. Rooms big enough to accommodate 4 people (2 bunk beds, 1 double bed) balcony big enough to sit on with out feeling squished. Same goes for the bathroom. The room was very clean too. 24hr reception desk was useful. Smoking rooms availible on request :)

We have stayed there before so knew it was fairly run down but perfectly ok for a night and the position is good , the price cheap.

Have stayed many times over the years,and had excellent experiences regarding staff.In April I left a 70 euro internet dongle in my room.On my return 3 weeks later,the staff returned it to me.A big pat on the back and thanks to the staff for their honesty.

Good hotel to reasonable price located very near the ferry station and near the railway and metro. OK room, but this day with some Wifi problems, but since in EU I had other options. OK place to stay for a night or two.

Excellently located for ferry access and choice of Train, Metro or Bus to airport close by. Good backstreet eateries and excellent shopping 15 mins walk to the south. Luggage can be left at reception after check whilst you while away the time before commencing your journey!

Perfect location to the cruise terminal. Staff were extremely friendly and able to recommend several must see, do, eat in the area. The staff was extra helpful calling us taxi the morning of our cruise.
