Delfini is a transit hotel that , in my opinion, responds to this purpose very well. Location is perfect, just 100 m from the Karaiskaki bus stop. We took the bus X96 from Athens Airport and in 90 minutes we arrived at Karaiskaki bus stop. From there just 2 minutes to the hotel. Also it was perfect for us that Gate 7 for the ferry to Syros is just about 80 m from Delfini hotel, so next day it was very easy for us to go to ferry. The ladies from the reception are very nice.

I arrived from one of the islands and needed a close location for my ongoig trip the next day outside of the bus / ferry times. The staff were briliant and were avilable for very late check-ins. Is it a bit basic.. yes it is but I wouldnt hesitate to stay there again. For a place to sleep with clean and comfortable beds, you cant get much better. Will be my go to place from now on.

At the price paid, there is nothing really to complain about

Ok I booked my trip to the Greek islands back in July. If someone had said there will be a ferry strike at Piraeus on the 13 of September who would have believed that? Not many I'll tell ya. So Here I am flight booked ready to go, I need an overnight stay in Piraeus after a quick look I spotted the Delfini excellent location for ferry just 5minutes walk to gate 8. It was clean nothing special a little bit noisy but hey it got me out of a tight spot

I've been staying here for years with my family on our way to or from the islands. It's a simply hotel, centrally located very close to the docks and boats. The rooms are on the small side (we always take a family room for the 4 of us) but good enough for one night. The family room on the top floor has a big balcony with a view of the boats. Great for a last beer before going to bed. There are loads of cafes and restaurants around for a meal.

The location is excellent and for the purpose of my stay and for what I paid , I believe it was very good. Reception staff very friendly and polite.

The hotel needs a bit of attention however is not that bad for the price

Great location in Piraeus. The room is nice and the double bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and it was good value for one night before the ferry.

Yes we can hear the music from the nightclubs (Saturday night) but it didn't last till very late and it didn't stop us from falling asleep.

Very near the ferry and my friend cannot walk far Friendly staff and there at reception any time Can buy cold drinks in reception

We have stayed there before so knew it was fairly run down but perfectly ok for a night and the position is good , the price cheap.

Fantastic location, short walk to the main ferry terminals and metro, perfect for transiting to and from the islands. An older hotel but everything worked and staff were friendly and helpful.

Have stayed many times over the years,and had excellent experiences regarding staff.In April I left a 70 euro internet dongle in my room.On my return 3 weeks later,the staff returned it to me.A big pat on the back and thanks to the staff for their honesty.

Extremely close to gate E7, somewhat good value for the money. The receptionist was very accommodating. Effective AC.

The beds aren't great. But I wasn't expecting them to be either.
