The staff was very attentive and polite. The food was tasty and fresh and pretty varied. The beach is clean, sandy, perfect for children. The drinks were of good quality. Good quality toiletries and plentiful. The rooms were cleaned daily (we had deluxe with seaview). The minibar refilled daily for all inclusive package.

The elevators are badly programmed / scheduled. There’s a long time to wait. WiFi didn’t work in our room although in our friends room and at the bar and restaurant worked decent.

Great beach with crystal clear calm water, very nice garden, many sunbeds and seating areas, so no problem to find a spot anytime during the day. Many shadows by trees available. Lot of snack options throughout the day. Great animation team A-TEAM CALYPSO :)

Elevators don't have enough capacity/the algorithm could be improved, as during breakfast/dinner peak times, you could be waiting for several minutes (while some elevators will stop by already full of people). During lunch time at outside restaurant/evening program, there should be designated smoke areas, as it could be bothering for some to sit next to smokers (and there were lot of smokers).

Rating: 10/10 My wife and I embarked on our honeymoon journey to Calypso Beach Hotel in Rhodes from July 26th to August 5th, 2023, and what a journey it turned out to be! Initially seeking solace after an unexpected departure from another hotel, we stumbled upon this hidden gem that transformed our trip into an enchanting adventure. The Calypso Beach Hotel immediately stole our hearts with its picturesque coastal location. The azure waters and golden sands provided the perfect backdrop for a romantic getaway. However, it was the unparalleled warmth and dedication of the hotel staff that truly set our experience apart. The staff became more than just hosts; they became friends on our honeymoon journey. The bar team, including Artan, Antonis, Doria, Stefanos, and George, created cocktails that were both delightful to the palate and a testament to their craftsmanship. Their genuine interest in making our evenings special added an extra layer of charm to our stay. Elvira's presence at the Crepe Stand was a sweet delight. Her warm smile and delectable crepes were the perfect treat for our days by the beach. It's these personalized touches that make Calypso Beach Hotel stand out. Nikos and Tsampikos, members of the restaurant staff, took our dining experiences to new heights. Their attention to detail and dedication to making every meal memorable left us in awe. Our accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. The double room we stayed in was elegantly designed and offered breathtaking views of the coastline. The attention to cleanliness was impeccable, creating an environment that was both inviting and comforting. Speaking of amenities, Calypso Beach Hotel exceeded our expectations. The Crepe Stand, the restaurant, and the bar facilities were all top-notch, adding to the overall value of our stay. What truly wowed us was the genuine care and hospitality we received. The combination of these elements made our honeymoon unforgettable.

Nothing. I am unable to find a fault.

Wonderful hotel with great all inclusive program! All stuff very nice and helpful, from the reception, through people in all restaurants and bars to cleaning. Very tasty food, every lunch and dinner different, wide choice. I admit I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. And service as well. There were enough tables and always someone available to get space let's say for a bigger group or some special needs. After the end hour of breakfast or lunch, someone always came to each table to announce politely that the buffet will close soon and that we can still take anything we like. They kept all food full and available until the very end. The restaurant looks very pleasant and luxurious. Throughout the day, you can also always eat in a snack bar, they have fruits, ice-cream and sweets all the time, between 12 - 17 lunch food, great for hungry teenagers. There are 3 bars - snack bar, beach bar and a regular bar in the hotel. They have great variety of all kinds of drinks, original alcohol, they can prepare almost anything. Very good!! The beach was quite nice, sandy, although there were little pebbles by the entrance to the sea. I prefer just sand. It was the reason why our kids did not play with the ball there, their feet hurt. Many beach loungers have towels on them from the morning although people are not always there. But we could usually find some even if we came later. There are activities for kids of all ages (or adults as well). From 14 years there was beach volleyball, water polo, soccer, darts etc. The hotel is about 15 min walk from Faliraki, no problem to walk there in the evening. Taxi to the airport is about 15 - 20 min. for about 35 € if you prebook.

The cleaning could be slightly better, to check if the shampoo and soap are still full etc, but it is no problem to ask the ladies and all is done.

The deluxe double room on the sea was excellent. It was large with a seating area and an amazing view of the pool area and ocean (we were on the 4th floor). The buffet food was plentiful with at least one excellent main course each meal that we loved (with one day's exception) and included beer and wine as well. The restaurant staff was fantastic! The bar and snack bar had free cocktails as well. The pool area was nice as was the beach. There was a bus stop directly in front of the hotel to take you to Rhodes Old town for 2.50E each way. You really don't need a car as it isn't far from the airport and the bus goes to the city. There was safe parking in front of the hotel, but it was just sufficient for an off season crowd. In the summer it might be too small for a full crowd.

Nothing!

It was my third time staying at this hotel. I like the location, the plentiful of food, the staff, the beach. I often took part in activities such as the water/dance aerobics directed by the amazing animation team. I sometimes queued for savoury or sweet pancakes by the pool area. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel. Buses will take you to the water park, Rhodes town, Lindos etc.. It is only a 10-15 mins walk to Falaraki.

The queue to get the pancakes . I think they should limit how many pancakes per person in order to prevent queuing for too long. It should be maximum 2 per person. Everyone should queue for their own and not get 4 at the time for example.

The sunbeds on the beach were nice, even when most were occupied, we still could find two where we could leave our stuff. The whole outside of the hotel was georgous and comfortable.

Our apartment was on the H floor which felt like the floor for the staff because compared to the other floors it was dim, and there were cleaners stuff (their leftover meals too) in the corner for our whole stay (the apartment is self was clean and did not dissapoint, but the hallway did). The elevator barely stoped there, there were occasions when we had to wait 5+ mins to get in, and there is no display there where the elevator currently was, also the stairs were hard to find.

Perfect kids friendly hotel. The food was very good, always something to eat. Drinks and ice cream always available. The beach is very nice. The faliraki square is a 25min walk or you can wither take a taxi. 500meters away fron the hotel there is a kids train that takes you a tour in faliraki (9 euros for adults and 5 for kids). The experience its nice for kids. The hotel also has a mini market with good prices and hair/nail saloon.

The 3rd bed for our child was not comfy but its was not a major issue.

I went on vacation to this hotel for the first time with my five-year-old child and my wife. The location was great for us because it’s right on a beautiful beach. In June this year, the sea water was a bit colder—around 20 to 21 degrees Celsius—because the spring months of April and May were unusually stormy and cool. Normally, the water temperature at this time of year is around 23 to 24 degrees. The beach itself is really nice. You can play volleyball right on the sand, and there are even organized tournaments. In June, there were enough sun loungers and beach umbrellas for everyone. It was a little bit windy, but that’s normal for Rhodes. According to the locals, Faliraki actually has the weakest winds on the whole island, so it’s one of the more sheltered spots. Nearby, there’s also a beach bar from the hotel where you can grab drinks in plastic cups and take them to the beach. There are plenty of options—you can keep it simple with a good beer, or choose from a long list of cocktails. The staff was really pleasant and helpful—from the receptionist, to the bartenders, to the restaurant team. Everyone was kind, professional, and made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. My wife has a honey allergy, and we were really impressed with how careful and attentive the staff was. The gentleman who greeted us at the restaurant every day took the time to check with the kitchen which dishes contained honey. Before every lunch and dinner, he personally informed us which meals were safe for her. That kind of attention to detail made us feel very safe and cared for. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony and a sea view. The cleaning ladies cleaned the room every single day, and it was always tidy and fresh. There was also a safe in the room for storing valuables, and a closet with enough space for our clothes and belongings.

I booked a rental car for one day (35 euros) through the hotel. I made the reservation in the morning and planned to drive it in the afternoon, but unfortunately I got sick and wasn’t able to use it at all. I still had to pay the full amount, which I understand due to the policy, but it was a bit disappointing since the car wasn’t used at all. Also, beware of mosquitoes at night!

Overall, the experience was delightful—exactly what you'd expect from an all-inclusive hotel. It had everything you needed for a fantastic holiday. While the pool was too cold for swimming, the sea was perfect. The lovely sandy beach with beach chairs was a highlight. It's hard to list everything that was great because the hotel truly had it all. Its proximity to other villages and Rhodes itself was convenient. Lunch and dinner were outstanding, with a different menu every day. I especially enjoyed the fish options, and my kids loved the unlimited ice cream and excellent crepes. Good luck staying fit and leaving with the same weight you checked in with! The entertainment program was interesting, and I appreciated the presence of mostly German tourists.

The breakfast didn't suit my taste, especially compared to a previous hotel where I enjoyed it much more. While the variety was good, the flavors were disappointing. The internet was terrible; there was practically no connection in my room, neither Wi-Fi nor mobile. It was somewhat better in other areas, but still not great.
