When you plan a special vacation months ahead of time on your own with no travel agent, you have a chance to look at reviews, pictures, opinions of other travelers and choose what you think are best options. In this case, everything exceeded our expectations.Konstantinos was just the perfect host and assured that every detail of our stay was memorable. Getting into and out of this area is quite a feat - let him help you secure transportation and it will relieve any transport stress. Restaurant suggestion of Mama Sofia's turned out to be a culinary delight with the welcoming owner Stavros visiting our table and offering menu suggestions. Communication with Konstantinos was excellent. Make sure you download WhatsApp, which we used throughout 3 weeks in Greece. You cannot imagine how terrific the location is - it is truly inside the Old City walls with views that are incomparable. The room was spectacular and the terrace was just perfect for the outstanding daily breakfast and cool evening breezes after a hot day of exploring. Get the Greek coffee! It is not possible to capture how colorful, artistic and captivating this property is. The Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes is astounding. To walk through the ancient, most preserved medieval castle in Europe is a wonderful experience. To see it lit up at night from the property is unforgettable. Walking out the entrance and you are immediately on the path to the old city with gorgeous outdoor tavernas, shopping and the best people watching. All of the encounters we had with tavernas, shops and transportation were so friendly and welcoming. Elli beach was a 15 minute walk away with several beach clubs and pristine, clear water. We ended up at BAIA beach club and it was a perfect beach day- beds more expensive here than other areas, but we worth the money for an entire day.

Not staying long enough

Gorgeously characterful and charming little Boutique hotel, managed by equally charming hosts. Konstantinos and his lovely wife Elena (I hope I have remembered her name correctly) were delightful and caring, ensuring our stay was comfortable, and we had all we needed. We were warmly greeted on arrival and welcomed by Konstantinos as though we were long-lost friends or family. The room was clean and cosy and full of charm, the bed very comfortable and we both slept well. A delicious Breakfast of homemade pastries, cakes, and bread (made by Elena), Greek yogurt with fresh fruit and a choice of egg dishes was served, with freshly brewed coffee, outside in the lovely sunny courtyard. The Hotel, as its name suggests, was once the couture house of Greek fashion designers Nikos and Takis, and still exudes a sense of seductive glamour and the exotic: decorated throughout in an attractive ottoman style, with lovely attention to detail. Its location is also excellent, and ideal for exploring the old medieval town, only steps away from The Grand Master's Palace and The street of Knights. It was also just a short walk to the ferry port. We enjoyed our stay so much, we decided to extend it! I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return one day, saying goodbye felt like leaving old friends. Huge thank you to both Konstantinos and Elena for making us feel so welcome, we miss you already.

Despite only staying one night, our stay at Nikos Takis Hotel was a highlight of our holiday in Rhodes. Konstantinos was absolutely incredible right from the start! He WhatsApped directions to the hotel from our location, and provided such a wonderful, warm welcome when we arrived. We were given recommendations and tips for our stay in the Old Town, and even were able to check in early! Nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful; gorgeous fabrics and decor, a real luxury to stay in. Lovely bathroom products provided, even music playing in the bathroom, cold refreshments free of charge in the fridge - the list goes on!! The breakfast was incredible and we still can't believe that was included in the room rate! Homemade food served on a stunning outdoor terrace. We really had such an incredible stay and hope to be back another time! Thank you so much to Konstantinos and all staff at the hotel 🙏🏼😁♥️

Nothing! Everything was perfect

Sumptuous decor competes with exceptional hospitality here! Created by well-known fashion designers, this amazing jewel just dazzles from the moment you enter. Besides outstanding decorative touches, the hosts and staff have thought of everything for one’s comfort - even more than we thought we wanted! We were spoiled - lavishly. Yes, yes, of course the location is superb - only steps away from the Palace of the Grand Master, the Street of the Knights, museums and tavernas and shops. But more important to us was the hospitality. Konstantinos was charming, helpful, and a brilliant ambassador for Rhodes. We so enjoyed our chats with him, that we were loathe to leave each day to go see this beautiful treasure of a town. Ruby kept us smiling, our room spotless, and embarrassingly well fed with her scrumptious breakfasts - we stayed 4 days and each day she surpassed the day before. Every corner of the hotel was a marvel - a feast for the eyes and senses. We hated to leave but take great comfort in knowing we will definitely come back for a longer stay.

Absolutely out of this world. Greeted like we were family and treated like royalty by the wonderful Konstantinos. Treated to a beautiful breakfast each morning by a wonderful smily lady that even served us with a delicious orange cake she had made, mouthwatering! Room was overlooking the palace at one side with a view out to the sea at the other side, just stunning! Highly recommend staying here, you won't find better in Rhodes Old Town.

Nothing to dislike

Very nice and uncomplicated welcome!! Even on short notice booking and late arrival. The location is perfect- very close to the old city / city walls with cafes etc. also close to the beach. Overall beautiful hotel, nice and comfortable room! Breakfast included.

for people sensitive to noise it is close to the old town center therfore on the weekends music / bass can be heard in the late evening until 1 - 2am. (But other than that really quiet / relaxed location)

The location was exceptional, the hotel was decorated so tastefully, beyond our expectations and mesmerizing. Every single corner of whole hotel had something special. The breakfast was great. Most of all, the manager and rest of the staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our time there so much.

Konstantinos was incredibly friendly and welcoming during our stay in Rhodes. He was accommodating when we turned up to the hotel earlier than previously flagged due to a change in ferry schedule. The room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable and we slept like logs. My partner had his birthday whilst we were staying here and they surprised us with a birthday cake at breakfast (after the regular sweet treat to end the meal!!!) Breakfast was so hearty that we did not need to eat lunch either. The bedroom also has a dedicated music button if you need some panpipe music whilst using the WC.

Amazing place, with the best hosts! Nicely decorated room with an arabian/middle eastern feel. Great location next to the Palace in a quiet street but very close to the busy parts of the old town. Excellent breakfast including my favourite greek pastries. Staff was so helpful and gave us great suggestions for exploring the old town! My girlfriend was so excited about this and wants to come back again!

The hotel is in a fantastic location right in the old town next to the castle.The outdoor patio where food is served is beautiful with great views.The breakfast was fantastic,lots of homemade greek traditional food.The staff are incredibly helpful.Konstantinos booked us a reliable driver and he is very accommodating.The room is really nice.The bed is very comfortable and there is a smart tv for netflix and other international tv options.The room and hotel were very clean.
