Staff very attentive and helpful. Nothing too much for them. A lovely, beautiful, small boutique hotel catering for a small number of guests. Breakfast was a good choice, not all self service, but food was always freshly made and prepared to order. Plenty of water, tea, coffee, cereals, toast, yogurt, jams, breads, and cakes available for you to help yourself. Served at the table with a plate of fruit and another plate containing cooked food such as eggs (fried or omelette), bacon, sausage, french toast, croissants, fruit pies, and salad, which varied each day. Also, a small menu available during the daytime, again always freshly made and prepared to order. For example, pizza, baguettes, and different Greek salads. Food met our needs, we had good portions, and we enjoyed what we had, but might not meet the needs of those with dietary requirements, although I am sure the staff would be very accommodating to individual needs and requests. View of sunset sensational, as good as being in Oia itself, but without all the people. Hotel sufficient distance from the centre of Oia and pedestrianised area, giving peace and tranquility, with a small infinity pool. Diverse range of clientele. The room (we had number 6 overlooking the pool, sea, and sunset) is spotlessly clean, room service attends every day with clean towels etc. There is also a small kitchenette style facility in the room with plates, knives, forks, cups, glasses, large fridge/freezer and kettle which allows you the freedom to make small uncooked meals and sit out on your balcony at night if you wish, allowing you to absorb the evening sunset and views. Overall a lovely and relaxing 6 night stay, farewell gifts very much appreciated. Hope to see you again one day. Will recommend to our friends. Thank you.

Informal areas to relax could be better, with comfortable chairs etc, because if raining, there is only the pool area and bar terrace to use, which are also used during the day, and there would be nowhere else to go apart from your room. Would suggest the hotel might be unsuitable for the elderly or for people with disabilities. Although the hotel is approximately 200 metres from the centre of busy Oia, to get there, you need to negotiate a rather steep and busy road. A few more coat hangers might also help in the wardrobe. We had 4 but managed, others might not fare so well.

Great staff! Breakfast was good, beautiful setting. Good and convenient location, enough out of the way of the chaos but close enough to get to the center of it all quickly. Expensive but enjoyable all around! Chrisa is the best!

This accommodation was perfect for our needs as a couple in our 40's, travelling without our teens. It was located just outside the centre of Oia (only a five minute walk) and was quietly located with distant sea views. We booked the honeymoon suite and although not huge it was immaculately clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi was lovely but too hot for a day time dip, but we did use on an evening to watch the sun and moon set. This suite was out of the way of all the other rooms and was perfect for this as it was really private. The bar area was open all day until about 9 pm and did serve some lovely light meals (pizza, Greek salads etc). We thought it was really good value for money and tasty too! Perfect if you wanted a light meal. We booked breakfast with our room and although repetitive (continental), it did offer good value for money. The Greek yogurt and cherry syrup was lovely and fresh fruit too! Unfortunately half was through our holiday they ran out of English Breakfast tea and not replenished. It was a bit disappointing to not have a nice cuppa in the morning. The coffee (which you had to pay for) was delicious though for mid morning. Oia is a stunning location and after visiting multiple locations on the island we felt it was the best location with the most sophisticated feel. We were so glad we chose Aplai Dome as it was located in a much quieter part of town than the centre of Oia and perfect distance from all attractions. Santorini is very steep in parts and taxis were not cheap to get about so be mindful when choosing your accommodation. When we were out and about on the island public transport, some hotels were in the middle of nowhere and this would not be convenient if you would like easy access to bars, restaurants and attractions. Aplai Dome is perfect for location, in fact it couldn't have been more perfect.

This is my only criticism and it may not bother others but music by the pool and bar was really repetitive and sometimes outdated. Particularly in the morning the music was similar to an 80's wine bar and was the same tune on loop.

The room itself was clean, airy and comfortable. The location was fantastic and the view of the sunset spectacular. The hosts were always attentive and helped us with the taxi transfer to and from the airport.

This has nothing to do with the accommodations. However, we did find it hard to enjoy ourselves because we could see in the distance a lone donkey chained up and left to stand in the hot sun all day everyday of our stay. We brought cold water ( which the hosts were kind enough to offer free of charge) to the little donkey but it was impossible to enjoy ourselves stay watching this poor creature suffer. We called the volunteer animal protection services and contacted the police as advised, but wether anyone else will see to the welfare of this poor creature is still unknown.

I cannot say enough how polite and kind the staff were. I forgot her name but she recommended so many things that will make it easy for us to navigate and not where to go. They gave us a magnet souvenirs. Our location was so perfect and away from the top. Uber can drop u right in the entrance. Imagine carrying luggage’s to the top of oia cliffs just for a view? Guess what our views in this hotel were aS amazing. U can see the sunset right outside better than going than in the main town. We enjoyed and appreciate our lovely quiet stay away from crowd but still near everything. Plus a minute walk to bus stop from Fira. No regrets

Beautiful views, lovely bar and pool areas and the rooms were also great, super clean, calm and quiet. Great location to completely relax, whilst also being within a short walk to Oia, so you weren’t always in the middle of the busy centre! Also a beautiful sunset view from the property itself so you can avoid the crowded spots in the town. Well priced drinks at the bar, and a good breakfast selection! The staff were amazing and all so friendly. Chrisa especially, as she booked us multiple restaurants after giving great recommendations, sorted our taxi to the airport and even helped us move rooms on our final night to include a hot tub. Her outstanding help along with all of the small attention to detail at the property really made our stay perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at Aplai Dome! Everything from start to finish was wonderful! Upon arrival, they greeted us at the front desk, made us feel welcome, and showed us a map of the island/how to best get around. They answered all questions we had, and provided great recommendations for things to do. Our room was incredible with its own hot tub and a wonderful view, that we could look out to from our bed. The sunset was incredible to watch from our back porch/hot tub. Although we only used it briefly, the hotel's infinity pool also had a great view. The location of the hotel was also super nice, as it was away from the main tourist locations. We could still easily access the "must-do" locations in Oia (with a 5-10 minute walk) but it was nice and quiet during the days/evenings. The included breakfast in the morning was also delicious with another great view! Overall, we wish we had more time here!

Gorgeous - chill vibes Easy walk to blue domes, restaurants and shops. Teresa (hope spelling is right) greets you like family from first hello. Listen to her advice and recommendations too as she is spot on! Look for number of tour busses in lot to gauge crowds (advice from Teresa) and the restaurant Karma exceeded expectations (also recommended from Teresa). This place does not disappoint. We had anticipated doing sunset in town but she said it was absolutely beautiful from the pool or the deck. We followed her advice for everything. If you are heading to this island, do yourself a favor and book this place. You will not be disappointed.

The location was good. About 10 minute walk to the main part of Oia (pedestrian only). Very private unlike a lot of hotels in Oia. The girl on the front desk was so helpful and friendly. All the staff were really attentive and helpful throughout my stay.
