The location in Oia was perfect! We had amazing views of the caldera as well as the iconic blue domes of the city right from our room! In the distance, we could see all of the tourists taking photos on the square in front of the church while we relaxed on our peaceful balcony patio. The hotel was situated on the main passageway with a five to ten minute walk in either direction to both ends of Oia. Each morning breakfast was served directly to our room at a time we chose. We dined outside while enjoying the quiet views and ocean breezes. A stay in a traditional cave hotel was on my bucket list, and it did not disappoint! The view of the windmills with perfect sunset views were a quick walk from the hotel. They gave us great recommendations of where to get a drink or dinner to experience the not-to-miss sunsets of Oia! The value was good compared to other options we considered. We would definitely stay here again!

It would have been nice to have a pool, but the hotel helped us arrange a visit to the red and black sand beaches, so we still had our time in the water in Santorini!

This place was a dream. We loved every moment we spent at this property. The location was fantastic and the views were nothing short of whimsical. We felt like we jumped into a postcard. We especially enjoyed having a kitchen with a private terrace, where we enjoyed breakfast every morning and dinner on a few nights to take in the views. This accommodation was super cozy and gave us a nice break from the tourist track. We absolutely loved staying here and would stay here again!

Breakfast delivered to our patio every morning with fresh coffee & tea. This was the place I had dreamed of!! Beautiful spacious Villas built into the caldera were clean and had all the amenities soaps, fresh towels and complimentary wine and water was a very nice touch. Picture perfect location perfectly situated on the caldera close to everything! I highly recommend Chelidonia Traditional Villas and will definitely come back!!! ( The only thing is that there are steps to walk up , so this is not for the elderly or people with mobility problems)

We loved the location of our villa and the views were stunning. The staff was exceptional! Maria booked several activities and restaurants for us. The porter was a life saver when it came to carrying our bags up and down the stairs.

We were totally satisfied! We do wish we would have had better instructions for check in. We didn’t know a porter would help us with several levels of stairs until we found the reception office. There is no way to drive up to reception. It was hard to find.

The location, the staff, the view are all exceptional and easily exceed any preconceptions about the Villas. The staff are always on the move but very approachable whatever they are doing. Our porter in particular was able to carry a 26 kg suitcase and a 8 kg carry on bag on his shoulder while wheeling another suitcase as well. EXCEPTIONAL!!!

We loved our stay here! As far as costs for staying on the cliffs in Oia, its hard to beat this hotel. You don't view the sunset from your room balcony but the views are so impressive nonetheless. The staff we wonderful. Someone met us at our drop off and carried our bags to our room. There are a decent amount of stairs required to get to and from the rooms so would not recommend for anyone who has trouble with stairs. The "romantic room" and the "family room" are actually in two different spots- this was not a problem for our group but just something we didn't know until we arrived. The hotel brings breakfast to your room every morning- you sign up for a time the day before.

The breakfast could be more varied but we enjoyed the breads, fruit, orange juice, and boiled eggs.

The location of the property was amazing, but it was also very private - much better than I expected in Oia in August. I never found anyone trying to take photos in front of my door. It was also quiet enough at night even though it was so close to the centre. The reception staff were also great.

There was a misunderstanding about the timing of the transfer to the ferry port, and as a result I received somewhat unfriendly behaviour from a staff member, essentially being told off for running a few minutes late. I feel this could have been handled better, and it is unfortunate that it is how my stay ended.

Afroditi, the person that greeted us and attended to our needs during our stay was fantastic! Totally engaging and friendly. Great recommendations. The entire staff was lovely. Great breakfast. Great view. Nice location. In Oia. We had a small suite which was perfect for a three night stay.

Spectacular views ! Lovely traditional decor but a great space with everything available. The daily breakfast was amazing. Well equipped with all required for self catering. Magnificent outdoor space
