The hotel is in a lovely location in Oia with views of the sea and coastline and the caldera. Nice and quiet and even more beautiful at night from your very own jacuzzi. Breakfast was lovely in the morning, either to have by the pool or on your terrace. Plenty to choose from, you get a bread/ croissant basket with jams as standard and then to choose 3 plates per person.You could choose fruit, pancakes, omelette, eggs, bacon, sausage etc. The room is equipped with everything you need - hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, plenty of towels, complimentary drinks in the minibar, bottle of wine, dressing gowns and slippers. All the staff were lovely apart from one reception lady when we checked in/out who seemed a little off.

We did get the room at a good rate however, if you were to pay full price, the room did seem a little tired and dated in places for the money you spend. There was also a bit of an insect infestation by our hotel room door which was a bit gross. The hotel did sort it that night in a short term measure by spraying dettol aresol but feel it should be something that is maintained generally. It looked like the insects had been there a while and were nesting in the door itself! When we informed the receptionist upon checkout she didn't seem bothered or apologetic.

Elsa who we met on arrival was very professional, helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. She showed us to our room which was an executive cave suite, larger than I expected and beautiful. We relaxed in the sun overlooking the stunning caldera which is breathtakingly beautiful, and were in and out of our outdoor heated jacuzzi which would easily fit 4 people in. We decided we would eat at the hotel and were the only diners at our time so felt like a personal chef, Bruno waited on us and made stunning cocktails and was very attentive, bringing me a blanket when he realised I was a little chilly when the sun had set. The food was delicious I had seafood linguine, gorgeous. We had a wonderful night's sleep in the cave, quiet and dark! Breakfast was served on our terrace (we chose the night before what we wanted) a mix of continental with parties fruit and yoghurt to pancakes, eggs and bacon, juices tea and coffee, all lovely. We would definitely come back - we stayed 1 night at the last minute as we were celebrating my husband's new job.

Nothing to dislike!

This was the most beautiful suite we’ve stayed in all of Europe. It was huge! My daughter and I stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, living room, dining room with a plunge pool and large patio. The architecture is stunning and the view is breathtaking of the Caldera sea!!! Our breakfast (love they would serve us late 10am) was so plentiful (you can pick multiple items daily) that we never ate lunch. The chef made the fluffiest, delicious eggs and avocado toast. We also would get the pancakes and the honey and cinnamon over top of them was truly delightful. The yogurt with granola and fresh berries with chocolate chips so yummy. Top quality food, they don’t skimp on anything! Also, taking photos along their stunning rock steps are perfect! People walking along the pedestrian walkway (above Filotera) would stop just to take photos of the rock staircase. Also, Filotera has a person 24 hours a day monitoring the only entrance, very private!

Convenient location, right next to all the restaurants and view spots. Very friendly staff, always helpful and greeted us with a smile. The breakfast was exceptional, served on our balcony every day with a breathtaking view.

There was a smell coming from the drain in the bathroom this may have been due to the extreme heat but it was constant and very unpleasant. The staff did try to clean the bathroom but I don't think there was a quick fix to the problem, maybe something that can be looked at long term.

The second we got to Filotera, we felt so comfortable and at ease. The location and views of this hotel is unbelievable. You quite literally cannot be in a better location. The hotel is situated right on the stunning Oia path. The hotel also offered us parking for our rental car which was a huge plus. We want to say a huge thank you to Irini. She paid attention to every detail and made us feel at home. She took into account what we wanted to do during our time in Oia and created a personalized itinerary for us- booking all the restaurants and giving her honest opinions. Irini is honestly what made our trip so wonderful. She was so sweet, patient and paid attention to all the small details. The breakfast was wonderful- we were able to try a variety of dishes from fruit, crepes to omelettes and Greek coffees. We looked forward to the breakfast every morning. The jacuzzi was a nice touch after a long day exploring. Everything was superb. I highly recommend this hotel- not only for the views/location but for the management (thank you Irini)

Everything was wonderful!!

Honestly this place is underrated. We couldn’t find any fault. Top location close to everywhere , amazing breakfast breathtaking views so kind and helpful staff . I will definitely go back and recommend to check this place out. You will not be disappointed. Oh and yes the massage experience on the outside area with this views was just adding cherry to the cake . 🍰

There was not smallest fault there

One of the best hotels I stayed on my life, great heated pool, great design, great people. We had problem with ferry and it get cancelled and we asked for late checkout, which was acceptable, they tried really to help to have a solution. They also recommend good restaurants and good activities around the area. The only thing that can be better is the welcoming, it should be a drink or fruits like other hotels, also the breakfast wasn't that big, but those aren't important.

The location is amazing and the rooms are very nice. Staff is amazing. The only thing I recommend is to change the mattress of the beds frequently. Otherwise everything else was great. Their breakfast choice delivered at your patio or anywhere around the pool is a treat not to be missed

We loved the rooms, it's cute and cozy. Complete with essential toiletries which by the way were RITUALS brand. We love our breakfast spread by the jacuzzi overlooking the caldera. The hotel is also near to everything. The staff were amazing, especially Elsa, the receptionist who welcomed us in the morning and enthusiastically gave us info about our stay in Oia.
