Exceptional value for the mid tier price we paid. The rooms were nicely renovated and the kitchen was equipped with all the essentials. The room was clean and well maintained, and the facility overall was nicely kept. The host is very charismatic and welcoming, as he made sure we were comfortable and provided us with local recommendations. The location was also amazing, as we had a spectacular postcard view from the balcony over the iconic white Caldea houses of Oia and the island’s bay. It was also amazing quick 5 minute walk from the centre of Oia, and had plenty of restaurants and stores just a few steps outside.

The location of the property is unbelievable . The view is spectacular from The terrace outside my room and also from the rooftop terrace. The studio was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed . John was such a great host, he assisted me with renting a car and gave me great advice on the area. I loved our chats and nothing was too much for him and he and his wife keep the property immaculate. I was sad to be leaving and will Definitely return and it is so nice to be looked after so well and have great customer service - John is more than a great host - he actually cares about his guests and that is something you will not get in larger properties. I left feeling like I had made new friends and know I will return as Maryloujohn villas is something very special and you have to stay here and experience it for yourselves.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was perfect – right on the main street and just a short walk to all the most popular places in Oia. There was even a shop directly across the street, which was very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful – both the owner and the lovely lady who cleaned the rooms made us feel very welcome. They gave us great recommendations and really went out of their way to help us during our stay. I highly recommend this place!

The location, it’s perfect,the view in front of you, the distance to the bus stop and supermarket plus short walk to restaurants and shops and also to blue dome and area to watch the sunset.

Just minor thing, maybe just improve the bed there is a little bit of a noise if you moved around the bed and the fridge could be noisy but you can plug it out to silent it.

The terraces were great, Giannis was helpful, caring and had great suggestions. He can also make an awesome coffee/breakfast, so take him up on it!

The shower is small and things in the bathroom can get wet; however, it’s a Greek stone bathroom, so still kind of an experience. Don’t climb or stand on anything rooftop balcony related for pictures. It’s dangerous and the owner cares enough to be worried about you.

The property is in a beautiful location in Oia. The hosts were very friendly! We had a welcome coffee and they kindly let us use the room before check in time so we could rest as we were very tired catching up 5AM flight from Athens. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. We had everything we need! They provided clean towels, slippers, soap, lotion, shampoo/ shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste and more! We had a fridge and a kettle. We used the jacuzzi at the balcony for 20 euros per person and it comes with a drink, the views of the caldera were stunning! All in all, our stay was amazing!

John was very welcoming, helpful and charming and offered us frappes and espressos on the house when we arrived. We stayed one night so our focus was the views, which were incredible, and photographing the famous three blue domes which are 5 minutes walk away and pretty much level with the hotel, so no steep climbs to access them. ATMs and supermarkets are 1 minute walk away. Weather was lovely, at 23 degrees celcius, and most restaurants are open in the off-peak season as Santorini is still quite busy in April. Buses were also regular. The hotel has several communal areas for lounging and enjoying the sea views and stunning sunsets.

We are a family of 5 and had a very pleasant stay here. Upon arrival, the owner greeted us and was very friendly and nice. We were shown how everything works in our room and given a generous supply of water bottles and provided with house slippers for the whole family. The location was so convenient and in the heart of Oia. It was within walking distance to many restaurants, grocery stores and bus stop. We ended up taking the bus to Fira for the day and it was very easy. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone!

Right on the main Street where people come from other locations to witness the beautiful Santorini sunset. You have all the places to sit, have coffee and do everything within the villa.

1- The rooms aren't very big, the kitchen is restricted (although the owner offers his kitchen to use but doesn't feel all that comfortable using their personal kitchen). 2- Additionally you have to deposit 150 euro security and every millimetre of rooms is inspected during check out. Other places in Greece were liberal and didn't bother about security deposits. Can't generalise as I didn't try any other place in Santorini. 3- You can't drink tap water so one has to stock water. 4- Santorini seemed like a place for INFLUENCERS, pre wedding shoots, honeymooners etc, not the best place for families with kids. 5- Too much vehicular traffic all around bordering annoying. *Last 3 points seemed more apt to describe Santorini rather than the accommodation*

The villa is on the main street with amazing view to the sea and caldera The room is simple but good, the bed is super comfy. There is a mini market next to the villa. John is very helpful and Buddy is a super sweet young dachshund. I wish to come back. Oia is incredible and really looks like a fairy tale.. I highly recommend this place.
