Really beautiful hotel, quite and very relaxing but near to Oia for restaurants and views, Staff were really lovely and the included breakfast was fantastic, wish we could have stayed longer. Good place to escape it all, not a party spot!

Its a bit isolated and the walk to Oia is a bit challenging. Would have been great to have a spa . Airport transfers arranged by the hotel were very expensive but it seemed that's the case on the island in general. There was a mix up and we weren't given the room type we had booked and paid for initially, however they sorted it with an hour and very kindly gave us a late check out at the end of our stay as we had a late flight.

What a Find! I booked this stay as a surprise birthday gift for my husband and it definitely did not disappoint! Danae Suites is such a hidden gem. Tucked away from the busy tourist spots, down some quiet little alleyways, you’ll finally land at this amazing place. Sure, your taxi might not love the route (you’ll probably need to walk a bit), but once you get there—wow. 1. Total Peace and Quiet This isn’t Fira or Oia. No crowds, no noise, no one walking past your jacuzzi while you try to relax. It’s super chill and peaceful—exactly the kind of vibe you want on a real getaway. 2. The Rooms Are Wildly Good Seriously, the rooms are next-level. Bright and airy in the daytime, cool and cozy at night. We stayed in the deluxe suite and it was 100% worth the splurge. It felt like our own little house. And watching the sunset from the jacuzzi? Unreal. Luxury without feeling stuffy. 3. The Staff? Incredible. Honestly, the people here are amazing. I’ve been lucky to visit a lot of hotels, and the service here is easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Super professional if you want that, or totally down-to-earth and friendly if that’s more your style. You can tell they genuinely care about your experience. 4. Breakfast Hits the Spot Fresh, local, beautifully done—and it tastes as good as it looks. I’ll 100% be back. Early May was the perfect time to visit, and huge thanks to Vasiliki, Chris, and the rest of the team (even if I don’t know all your names—you’re awesome).

Oia is only a 15 minute walk away. The path is a bit steep, but it is quick and there is a kiosk on the way if you need a lil refreshment! Our room was stunning and cleaned spotlessly every day. The staff at the pool, breakfast area and reception were incredibly friendly and helpful! Whatever we needed, they took care of it right away - transport, quad rental and even when I had some health issues, they supported me immediately and genuinely cared! A special thanks to Ms. Theodora P.! Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great variety and the rest of the food at the hotel was also very tasty! We truly felt so comfortable and well taken care of!!

We truly appreciated the high level of cleanliness and the pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel. The staff was always kind, full of positive energy, and genuinely eager to help – always with a smile. All the hotel facilities were extremely well maintained, making our stay comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. The suite included an excellent jacuzzi, a spacious balcony, and a breathtaking view – a perfect spot to enjoy both sunrise and sunset. Such a delightful place – highly recommended! We’d love to come back again

Areas for Improvement: The suite we received (with a jacuzzi) was beautiful and perfect for a couple – but less suitable for three adults. The additional bed was not as comfortable as the main one and lacked basic privacy for the third person. In addition, the shower has no door – we understand this is part of the suite's design and it does enhance the aesthetic, but when a third adult is staying in the room, it creates some discomfort. Breakfast was also less fitting for us. On one hand, it’s rich and varied, with dishes made to order from a menu – which is great. On the other hand, as a family that enjoys vegetables, salads, and fruits – we felt that this variety was missing. The meal is mostly based on carbohydrates, and didn’t match our dietary preferences.

It’s a walking distance to both Finikia (5-10 min walk) and Oia (20-30 min walk). It’s a quiet place with an amazing view. There are couple of restaurants nearby and a mini shop. The place is beautiful, the breakfasts were delicious, the room was the best I can imagine and the staff was more than helpful.

The only minus is the first 30 meters of road from the main street - very narrow. Google Maps sometimes does not show the proper road to the hotel so getting a taxi may be problematic, though we did not have any problems after all. The hotel staff is extremely clear about this and very helpful so we knew exactly what to expect before coming

Spacious rooms, lovely modern design. Enjoy space for our kid to run around. We had a little sink & fridge area which was ideal for cleaning bottles and baby snacks. The property is in a lovely quiet location, around a 15min walk into the start of Oia where there’s plenty of restaurants. Staff was helpful and the 2 waiters in particular were kind and friendly. In all the property is great. I appreciate it’s a minimalist design but I couldn’t stay more than few nights as there was no shelving or draws to unpack baby clothes, underwear, sportswear etc which made me feel very unorganised . I’d like it if the breakfast buffet had more salad, fruit, cheeses to help ourselves too rather than ordering. The swimming pool only opened at 11 which was unusual and there’s no easy accessible beach options with children in Santorini.

Amazing and helpful staff, good breakfast and tidy new rooms. Location is ideal closer to Oia Market/ castle and within few minutes drive to everywhere. All your operators can either pick you from hotel or a nearby location at walking distance. Ample free parking is provided. Highly recommend to book hotel taxi service at least on arrival.

Like all other hotels and accommodations in Santorini, one should have a rental vehicle/buggy/scooter/quad to explore and commute. Entrance to hotel is slightly off from main road, which is mostly a case in Santorini, anyway.

This hotel was amazing! The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The shower was incredible — large and designed in a beautiful Greek style. The staff were super helpful and friendly, always quick to respond. They even messaged me a few days before our arrival to check if we needed anything, which was a thoughtful touch. Housekeeping was great too — the room was cleaned and towels were replaced daily. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious! There was a great variety of options, and they even changed some of the buffet items daily, which kept things fresh and interesting. The views from the hotel were also stunning, especially at sunset and by the pool — perfect for taking photos. Overall, a fantastic stay!

The only downside for us was the location. You definitely need some form of transportation to get to the hotel, as it’s about a 10-minute drive from the main area of Oia. The closest bus stop is a 20-minute walk away, but the walk is along a road without a proper sidewalk, which can be a bit rough and unsafe.

So we arrive to this beautiful hotel. We paid for the cave suite. But we actually extended our stay on the island for a couple days to check this place out. We arrived before the actual check-in time of 2 o’clock we got here around 12. We were granted access to our room, which was extremely nice. We were given a free bottle of white wine and a free bottle of water. The service at the front desk throughout our stay was outstanding. The staff were extremely kind. Theodora And Christian really are valuable members of the team! I felt like i was hanging out with friends when talking them. The infinity pool is top-tier. The water was not too hot or too cold and the view was immaculate from the pool. There were plenty sun-beds available for early July, which left me to be surprised. The location of the hotel is actually great. It’s not that far away from the madness of Oia, yet it’s so relaxing and chill. Inside the room it’s absolutely gorgeous, you really feel like you’re in a cave. The shower has the option of handheld and overhead. The pressure was great. I had hot water throughout the trip. I did not hear my neighbors one bit throughout the stay meaning the walls were thick enough to keep outside noise away.

Transfer to and from the hotel is about 35-Euro minimum whether it will be to another nearby town or to the airport. The television takes time to load up when you turn it on to access the apps /information within the hotel. Breakfast is adequate. They have a selection of items, but the service is not the best at the breakfast location. At the pool, the bar makes spectacular drinks. However, the food menu leaves a lot to be desired as it is not adequate. The hotel should consider opening some type of mini mart as the nearest store is about a 15 minute uphill trek. Which could be quite difficult in the Greek Summers for somebody who is not physically fit or has health problems.

We stayed here for 11 nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, very clean, with exceptionally friendly staff. The rooms were excellent, and the views from the pool area were stunning. Both the food and service were great. The location was ideal: Finikia town is just a 2-minute uphill walk, and Oia is also within walking distance. We loved everything about this hotel and would definitely recommend it to family and friends. We hope to return again soon!
