Really beautiful hotel, quite and very relaxing but near to Oia for restaurants and views, Staff were really lovely and the included breakfast was fantastic, wish we could have stayed longer. Good place to escape it all, not a party spot!

Its a bit isolated and the walk to Oia is a bit challenging. Would have been great to have a spa . Airport transfers arranged by the hotel were very expensive but it seemed that's the case on the island in general. There was a mix up and we weren't given the room type we had booked and paid for initially, however they sorted it with an hour and very kindly gave us a late check out at the end of our stay as we had a late flight.

The property was perfect- very clean, modern and beautiful. The view was breathtaking. Watching the sunset by the pool every evening was a highlight. But what made this holiday were the staff… they were EXCEPTIONAL. They took care of us and our 2 year old son so well, were kind and attentive and we will definitely be returning in the future. We will also be telling all our friends and family to visit. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality and making us feel so at ease and welcome!! One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had and we are frequent travellers!

I don’t even know where to start on this review. Our stay exceeded all our expectations and then some. We loved every single second at Danae suites and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we ever go back to Santorini. It was the perfect location between Thira and Oia. About a 10 minute walk up the hill to Oia but don’t let that put you off as it’s so much closer than we thought! The pool area was gorgeous and so peaceful. They played lovely music all day everyday and it was honestly just the most idyllic place to switch off, I’ve never ever felt so relaxed in my life. The staff cannot do enough for you, from reception to the lovely waiters and the maids who cleaned our rooms they were all absolutely incredible. Every day we came back to our room all clean, all my toiletries lined up and pjs folded etc just little details I am so grateful for and is something I appreciate. The views are just spectacular we pretty much stayed round the pool all day everyday because we couldn’t get enough of the calm atmosphere which is exactly what we wanted. On our last day we had a late flight so they even let us hang round by the pool, gave us fresh towels, organised our transfers all with ease and nothing was too much bother for them. Really really can’t say enough how much difference it makes having lovely staff at a place like this. I also need to mention after reading some reviews saying the food wasn’t all that and the breakfast is minimal I 100% disagree! The food we had by the pool was amazing and the iced coffees and smoothies were gorgeous. The breakfast menu had loads of choice and you could order more than one dish so some days we would have 2 breakfast dishes and something sweet like pancakes too, all included! Absolutely 10/10 stay! Thank you so so much!

The only negative (although we found it fun) was the driveway to get to the place is very narrow. Our taxi drivers had no problem getting up the track and we hired a smart car and had no problem either but just to note if you are looking to get a car, get a small one unless you want the challenge!

Was absolutely perfect. The hotel is in a more quiet area in Finikia, about a 15-20 minute walk to Oia. The pool is beautiful with amazing sunset views. There are great restaurants 5 minutes walk away. The staff here are exceptional, friendly and make you feel extremely welcome with their hospitality. The room is thoroughly cleaned daily and left spotless. They helped us organise transfers to and from the port and let us stay by the pool while waiting for our late ferry even after checking out. Our room had the beautiful Santorini cave aesthetic with modern design and was brand new. We loved having our own spa pool as well. Overall it was truly a 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend staying here.

The hotel has fantastic views over the sea with some islands in the distance (although not caldera view). The hotel is in Finikia which is a 15 minute walk uphill to Oia. We found Finikia to be a nice little village with some lovely restaurants. Our room (honeymoon suite) was brilliant with a big comfy bed. The private pool and patio was secluded and relaxing looking over the farms to the sea. Breakfast was consistently nice every day. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and it was good too. I guess the hotel is probably ran by a big hotel chain but it really had a family feel to it. There were a small number of very friendly staff who were there every day. Reception staff offered sound advice on things to do and where to eat, bar staff were great guys, housekeeping were faultless and Marcos (a handyman I think) always busy doing little jobs but found time to help with bags or give a lift in the golf buggy. We really had what felt like a luxury experience.

I'd advise booking a taxi / transfer through the hotel. Especially if you've got suitcases. Some minibuses might refuse to drive up to the hotel. This was not a problem for us as a member of staff gave us a lift down to the road in the golf buggy.

Small menu but what they made in choice they made up in taste. With delicious pancakes cover in Nutella, tasty omelets and Greek mixed with honey and almond shavings. Lovely inside seating out of the heat and outside with shade from the sun. Bar located near the pool with sunbed and seating next the bar with umbrellas. Excellent lunch menu. Pool was big size with seating area at one to enjoy the view while keeping cool from the sun. The staff were so kind and helpful making us feel very welcome, they would bring our bag to the room. Beds were very comfortable They gave us recommendation for restaurant and how to get to Oia with was only a 20min walk (You do not need to go up the hill at all to get to Oia or any of the supermarkets) Would highly recommend would stay again

We tried to order room serves one morning as a treat to ourselves but we were told it couldn't happen as they only had two servers we were disappointed

We recently stayed in the honeymoon villa with a private pool at Santorini Danae Suites, and it was a wonderful experience. The villa was beautiful with an amazing sea view. While it's not as close to the caldera hotels in Oia, it still offers stunning sunset and sunrise views. The breakfast was a la carte, and they even brought it to our room upon request. Cristian was incredibly helpful, especially when our Uber driver didn't show up; he promptly arranged a taxi for us. The room was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a Nespresso machine, iron, and ironing board. We also enjoyed the infinity pool on the terrace, which is available for all guests. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

Many Uber drivers are hesitant to drive through the narrow and bumpy entrance from the main street, leading to frequent ride cancellations. To avoid this issue, I recommend booking transportation through the reception, as they have their own drivers. Alternatively, consider renting a car or walking if your destination is nearby.

The hotel is amazing, with lot of services, big rooms/villas with sea view, good breakfast, infinity pool… but the personnel at the hotel is even better! They basically work for caring about their clients, helping you with the luggage or all type of services like renting vehicles, arranging transfers to airport, restaurant reservations, recommendations.. honestly, all the employees were so kind and efficient that they improve your staying at this amazing hotel. They allowed us to stay in the hotel facilities before and after the official checkin and checkout time. Quality of the hotel is high in all senses Amazing sunset from the pool

The staff were lovely, very attentive and accommodating. The breakfast each morning was delicious and they made sure to ask each morning if you would like anything extra which was sweet.

Booking transport through the hotel was tricky and there was a miscommunication which almost led to us missing an excursion I had planned which was annoying. I did double check with them that my transport had been arranged and they reassured me it had, but when we went to get it they said that there was a miscommunication. I would have hoped that if they were unsure about what I had requested that they would find me and ask me to repeat and clarify further what I wanted. Transport through the hotel was also very expensive. (e.g. it cost 40 euro to be taken to Thera which was only a 20 min drive from the hotel).

The hotel was really nice, with a comfortable room which was cleaned and left spotless every single day. There was also a wonderful pool facility with a stunning view. At Danae Suites the staff was always friendly and ready to help.

However, the road leading to the hotel was challenging since it was narrow and steep. The breakfast menu had a limited amount of choices and with a staying of a week it caused a boring sensation when not having too many options to chose from.
