Anna is a lovely helpful lady with lots of information to impart when you arrive and she is super friendly. The rooms are lovely a d bright with everything you need .The bed is super comfy and there is a gorgeous bathroom and luxury shower . I had a pool and sea view ground floor so I could just nip over my balcony in the mornings and be poolside instantly ! Santorini Oia is fantastic and only 5 mins walk and the same for Finikia .Anna arranged all my trips which were fab .

Just avoid Oia restaurants who just rip you off and go straight for Kriniki Taverna in Finikia were you will get traditional Greek food and hospitality !

Ana made my stay extra-special! When I arrived, she spent time to help me plan out my stay. That was certainly above and beyond my expectations. The daily breakfast was delicious, and I received a friendly greeting every morning. I love the location between Oia and Finikia. I could walk to both towns, and the local bus stop was closeby to get to other parts of the island.

My wife and I preferred to stay in Oia rather than Fira. Oio is less populated and quite scenic. Maria's Place is a studio apartment complex for Adults Only. The room is very spacious with its own kitchenette, bathroom, terrace overlooking the swimming pool and view of the sea. The level of cleanliness is outstanding. The hosts, Anna and Kostas are amazing and they make you feel as if you are part of the family. Anna will answer all your questions and advise you also where is best to eat and which excursions to take. Our booking also included a buffet breakfast and this was something we looked forward to every morning. We highly recommend this jewel of a place !!

I have just spent 7 nights in this fabulous hotel. Far from the hustle and bustle of tourists and yet so close to the center of Oia (from the hotel, you can reach Oia in just 10 minutes on foot), this accommodation is full of tranquility. It's managed by a discreet and dedicated team of which Anna is the leader. She knows how to make you feel good and you let yourself be guided by all the advice she gives so that your stay in Oia is as magical as possible. The studio is spacious, very pleasant with a bay window opening onto a small terrace, overlooking the pool and the sea. It's equipped so that you can cook some small snacks. Crockery and small household appliances are available. This place is unquestionably clean, which adds to the quality of the service. Breakfast consists of a whole bunch of things that will get you off to a good start to the day. So, as far as I'm concerned, MARIA'S PLACE is an address that I will remember without hesitation. Quiet location and very relaxing stay a few minutes walk from Oia, lovely family run hotel, great fresh breakfast with lots of choice. The views are lovely, you don’t feel overlooked or crowded which is a big benefit in this area. Kitchen facilities, fridge, coffee maker, room cleaned daily. The family have a very well looked after family of cats, kittens were very amusing. It can be windy round the pool but we appreciated the breeze. Ana gave us a great recommendation for a boat trip and talked us through options of other things to do and arranged taxis to and from airport (40 euros). Great restaurants and interesting walks around Finika.

We loved Maria's place. The breakfast was fabulous and our host was so helpful. It was about a 10 minute walk to town. We went in August so it was very hot. The pool was great, private, sunny in the morning with umbrellas. We spent everyday by the pool.

We were not told that there was a remote for the a/c unit with a light button, so our first night our entire room was illuminated. We had to find something to try to dim the light.

Maria's Place is a beautiful welcoming locale in Santorini. It has a lovely aspect across Santorini lands to the blue seas of the Aegean. The effusive Maria welcomes you and makes you feel like a long lost relative. She provides you with a an abundance of useful information on the local area and no question is too much for her. She assisted in our booking for a cruise around the island as well as an exceptional local dining experience. The pool was quiet and peaceful escape and the room was roomy and comfortable.

The road down to the accommodation is a bit rough, especially on the wheels on our luggage, but that is beyond their control.

Was on edge of town (20mins walk to centre) so was quiet, was very clean. The owner, Anna was exceptionally knowledgeable about the island and could advise on trips or walks, what was open, as the season had not started yet. Anna offered us the use of our room until late in the day as our flight was not until 5pm (she allowed others the same courtesy)

Wi Fi intermittent (not hotels fault, other restaurants couldn't get card readers to work some times), maybe a change to hot dish in the morning, scrambled cheese egg (which was very good) 6 days out of 7.

- the host Ana is very kind and helps you with everything you might need and she also tells you a lot of useful stuff about what to visit on the island - the accommodation is great, all rooms have views tot the sunset and to the pool - the pool is great and they have lots of sunbeds and even swings - great breakfast with newly added items daily (some of them at least) - nesspresso machine in the room - cleaning service daily - the location is close tot Oia with 5, 6 minutes walking distance to the start of Oia and about 10 to 15 minutes to the 3 blue cupola churches

The perfect place to stay in Santorini, avoiding the tourist crowds. Just steps from the heart of Oia and literally few meters from one of the best views on the island, with the chance to watch the sunset right from your room or the pool. Comfortable rooms with every amenity, delicious breakfast. Last but not least, the welcoming and kind staff; Anna was truly great at recommending places to eat and the best beaches. We felt at home, and we never wanted to leave.
