Unique hotel, fabulous village, close to restaurants and other attractions on foot.

Bathroom could use a toilet paper holder.

This is a great location for a unique experience in Santorini. These caves are awesome, clean, very comfortable and the host is very accommodating. Within walking distance of Aio, which is has shopping, dining, etc. There are also three restaurants in this little village of Finikia cave accommodations. Much prefer this over Firas, which is bigger, busier and more crowded, but is within 20 minutes by car.

This can be confusing because there are several groups of cave accommodations within the same little town. Heliophos Caves are left after the Krinaki Restaurant. You'll pass some neighbor properties before reaching Heliophos Caves. "office" is up a set of stairs. Lots of stairs within Finikia, which is the community, so be prepared.

We liked everything!!! It is an amazing place to stay!!! The landlady is an incredible woman and the villa keeper Ekaterina keeps the rooms in a wonderful cleanliness!!!! This is place where you can see the church opposite and hear the bell rings in the morning and evening!!! So Cosy, fully accommodated place!!! Amazing showers and antique furniture from different places… miss you so much and we are planning to return!!! Best regards from Sultan and Lily

The place was beautifully furnished/ decorated and in an idyllic location that was off the beaten track but still in walking distance of Oia cliffs. The bed was very comfortable and the pressure of the shower was best I’ve had in Greece! I also thought it was a nice touch that they leave you everything in the fridge to make the breakfast yourself.

I was at the end of a two week trip and so had a lot of luggage, it was hard to pull down all the stairs and winding streets of the community in the heat from the bus. It would have been good to know before hand that it’s not the best way to get to the property.

We really liked the house, so much that we were a little sad to leave after a week. The patio area that was available for all guests was much appreciated. Sofia was a very good host. Also there was a adorable cat that came to our house every day, we even named the cat Ouzo. He´s forever in our hearts.

Actually the only thing that was a bit disappointing was that in the description of the house it was said that there would be bathrobes, but there wasn´t. Also I will just mention that the schampoo and shower cream could be refilled when cleaning the house every day.

Loved the ambience and attention to detail of these beautiful authentic cave rooms. Lived up to our expectations of an authentic Santorini experience. Loved the terrace which was private and welcoming. The village of Finikia is away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance of Oia, coastal trail and buses. There is a little supermarket which is handy. Taverns close by looked inviting, but we didn't get a chance to try them. Sophia was available on site. You need to take your luggage from Finikia car park, but this wasn't a problem for us.Very beautiful and quiet, well serviced accommodation.

This property has so much character and we loved the area of Finikia - a close walk to Oia but so much quieter and no vehicles! We loved the decor and the unique character of the accommodation, our patio, the peaceful alleyways of the village and the excellent restaurants nearby. The fresh orange juice and home made biscuits on arrival were an unexpected treat! Our host was always on hand to assist with any queries. The bed is very small, to suit the cosy room. This was no problem for us but perhaps a consideration for taller people.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Finikia is a great location for being close to Oia but away from all the crowds and commercialism. It felt more unique and was an unforgettable experience for our children to get to live in a cave home. There is a great restaurant a few steps down the property (Krinaki) that is reasonably priced compared to many in Oia. This stay will hold a special place in our hearts!

It can be a little bit of a workout to get to the property in the heat of the day with heavy suitcases. It was worth it though to be somewhere so unique!

The location is perfect to reach Oia by foot or car and quickly reach other destinations in the north of the Island. Finikia itself is a relatively small town but beautiful town. I had the loft suite for myself which was big and cool enough during the warmer period of the day. Plenty of place at your doorstep to sit in the sun or shade. The cleaning service was thorough and always replenished the juice in the fridge. The bathroom and bedroom were tidy when I arrived and during my stay. Plenty of towels, soap etc. Warm water almost instantly. The restaurants are very close and have great dishes to try for yourself.

The parkinglot at Finikia is terrible. Buses and minivans picking up or dropping guests on regular basis. Other parked cars blocking other parked cars. Instead I parked my car down the street which has plenty of space. I the urge the local community of Finikia to plead to let tourists park in other parking spaces if there physically able to and/or in healthy condition. The fridge is a bit noisy for people that need to sleep on the sofa.

Helios and Helena received me so well, I felt almost like part of the family, the room is cleaned everyday. It’s very close to Oía and still have no waves of turists, this place is 10 out of 10. I wanna come back in the future.
