This tiny villas are trying to emerge the guest in a typical "santorinean" housing experience, having a stunning view of the see from a far, up-the-hill perspective. Everything was spotless clean and nice and we've particularly appreciated our personal jacuzzi.

The property is not so easily accessible (a member of the staff will carry your luggages from the parking where only an enormous luck made us find a parking spot) and the dining options in the close vicinity are outrageously expensive. Even if you need a bottle of water, the local general store is 15 minutes walk away on a twisted road.

The process of getting checked in and out was efficient. The place was clean and the managers were quick to respond to any questions or requests.

Overall we liked our villa. It was very nice although Room 2 was cramped. Hard to store luggage and get around the room. Neither sleeping area had a door although room 2 was up stairs so there was privacy for that couple. The couple using the first floor bed had no door since the bed was in the main part of the ground level. If traveling with family this is fine but with another couple, you should be aware. You would want the late sleepers using the upstairs bed. While getting to the resort from the drop off area was unique and quaint, it is bumpy and uneven and can be slippery if wet. Someone with mobility issues should be aware of this.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa and it had a nice balcony with pool and a terrace upstairs with jacuzzi. Loved the sunset view from there while sipping your wine. The staff was very friendly and the house was kept clean and always ready when you come back.

It's a 20 minute walk to Oia and a little bit of hike. However, that also makes it far from all the hustle bustle of Oia so if you prefer to be very close to Oia then it might not be for you. We loved it as it worked for us.

An exceptional, warm welcome! Reactive communication via WhatsApp, transportation organised rapidly, luggage transported for us down the winding paths to and from the hotel, tourist information provided on arrival... A beautiful, calm location in Finikia, with a luxurious plunge pool looking out over the plains and the sea to the Island of Ios. A 15 minute walk from the heart of the bustling tourist area of Ioa. A small supermarket nearby. An excellent stay! Definitely recommended

Very beautiful and quiet house. Nice view ,clean, spacious with hot tub, balcony and terrace. Staff react fast and helped us to bring our luggages. Recommend letting their staff to help you because the trail to the hotel is quite slippy. The location is good. 15 minutes to Oia Main Street. The price is much cheaper than Oia with the same quality.

The trail to the hotel is not easy to find. And it is slippy. I saw a woman twisted her ankle and had serious cuts. Their staff will lead the way. Call them before arrival. The hot tub is cool. You need to call manager to heat it up.

Absolutely thrilled to share my wonderful experience at Elysian Retreat! From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. Their attention to detail and genuine warmth created an inviting and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect, making me feel like a valued guest. The facilities were top-notch, adding to the overall luxurious experience. The pools were a highlight for me, offering a serene escape to unwind and soak up the beautiful surroundings. While I did wish for a bit more privacy between the rooms, there was still a good amount of seclusion, allowing for a peaceful and intimate retreat. A special mention must go to the massage with Nik – it was simply phenomenal! Nik's expert touch and soothing techniques melted away all my stress, leaving me completely rejuvenated. It was, without a doubt, one of the best massages I've ever had. Overall, my stay at Elysian Retreat was nothing short of extraordinary. From the exquisite breakfast to the outstanding service and serene facilities, every moment was a pleasure. I can't wait to return and experience this slice of paradise again!

It is everything I have wanted from Santorini. The staff were incredible since the day I booked with them online. They arranged everything from restaurants to ATV. They have been helpful along the whole trip. My room had an inbuilt heated pool which i could enjoy privately. The beautiful sunset is visible and can be enjoyed from the hotel. I recommend booking your stay with them.

They booked a dinner at Above Bistro, breath taking location and did not inform us about the price of the dinner which was on the pricier side (€250 excluding drinks). I believe it is important to share price ranges so that the client is aware.

The property was fantastic- we really enjoyed our stay and Antonia was lovely - she enjoys talking to us and is super helpful and friendly too! The downside for us was on our last day- check out was at 11 and our flight was at 9pm! We asked Konstantina if we can extend or have another room until about 5 pm on the day- she simply said no without trying to understand the situation we were in! There is no shaded spot and we had to walk in the sunshine about 40 deg for 5 hours with the children and did restaurant and bar hopping! It would have been helpful if we were advised of plans in case of an early checkout!

Lack of advise in case of an early checkout and late flight. There is no shaded spots or malls where you can go and shop or chill and as such walking in the hot sun seems to be the only option- this can be dangerous and risky for adults and children!

The property is very nice. And the host very friendly. The reception is at a different place and our room was a couple of streets away from the reception. So, while checking-in, we felt quite stressed and daunted walking through the steep inclines to reach our room. But the main parking area of Finikia town (which is like the main pickup or central point to start all activities) is quite close to the rooms, not having to go through the reception street. So, once we found that out it was quite a relief. Infact, we never visited the reception again, except for the check-in. After check-in, all further communication with the hosts was through WhatsApp. We later came to enjoy walking through the small, winding streets of the town. The property is little away from Oia town's starting point. Though it is at a walkable distance, but going further into Oia town and returning back to the hotel room is a long walk.

The accomodation is STUNNING! The views are so amazing from the terrace and the room is exactly what we imagined our dream Santorini stay would be like. The staff are amazing and super responsive via Whatsapp and do their best to be as accomodating as they can. Also, the breakfast is DELICIOUS, having that on the terrace with an overview of the Santorini horizon was one of the best parts of our honeymoon. Love it! Super easy to catch a shuttle to Oia and the buses to Fira are just as easy to catch.

At times the wifi would disconnect at nighttime but bar that, no other issues!
