The Nimbus Santorini team is AMAZING and goes above and beyond — they offered me a welcome drink (and asked if I wanted it to be alcoholic or not), they were easily reachable by WhatsApp for any problem, and they just were very sweet. For example, one of the days it was raining outside and the restaurant is located outdoors, so they waved the (small) room service fee for all guests. The free breakfast was so good I kept raving about it! And they even on a whim offered me a glass of free wine to have anytime during my stay.

My room shared the "private pool" space with another (aka we both had private pools, but they were basically connected) so it was much less private than I expected. Other rooms seem to have more private pool options, FYI. It was still beautiful. The other thing is it's hard to get to the center of town because you are pretty far up — bring cash for taxis that they can call for you, otherwise you'll end up paying a steep price for Ubers.

Our stay at Nimbus Santorini was magical. This hotel is truly a hidden gem, offering the most breathtaking sunset views over Santorini that we have ever seen. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, catering to our every need with warmth and care. The atmosphere and rooms are wonderfully cozy, creating the perfect setting for a romantic and peaceful getaway. Overall, our experience at Nimbus Santorini was incredible, and we can't wait to return!

If you're planning to explore the island, I highly recommend renting a car. It made visiting all the beautiful spots Santorini has to offer so much easier.

The exceptional views from the hill-top villa, deck and pool. The spacious deck and rim-flow pool were the perfect places to lounge, relax and watch those magnificent sunsets! The villa was beautifully designed, decorated and super comfy. The staff were truly fabulous from the moment we arrived, and their outstanding hospitality never stopped. They went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. The breakfast was superb, and its location was unbelievable. A real treat!

Really nice little hotel. Max 14 rooms, in a very quiet hillside. Located along the hiking path between Oia and Thira. The rooms are decorated very well and are spotless. The staff are excellent, very helpful, chatty and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent a choice of two dishes from the menu ranging from omelettes, eggs Benedict, French toast and pancakes. Restaurant staff are excellent. I recommend booking the private dinner experience, staff made it feel very special, food was excellent and the view is outstanding. All communication done through WhatsApp which made it very easy to book drivers and get any recommendations. Can’t recommend nimbus Santorini enough if you’re looking for a relaxing stay.

The property was beautiful, lovely decor & fab room with hot tub. The food in the restaurant was also great and we loved the breakfast with a view that was included (so much food!). The staff were also super lovely.

The hotel really is on a suuuuper steep hill (probably our fault for not researching this more!) but makes walking to / from oia a bit of an ordeal - fine in the daytime but tricky under foot in the dark, we felt like mountain goats 😂 (we are fit, mid twenties for reference). Also even through the hotel taxis were €20 each way to Oia or €40 to Fira - this added up over the trip! In hindsight paying a bit more for a hotel that was closer would have been worth it or hiring a car. IMO the hotel should at least offer free hotel shuttles to/from the bottom of the hill to make the walk to Oia easier.

We had the most unforgettable stay at this stunning hotel on Santorini. From the moment we arrived, everything felt like a dream. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with an incredible infinity pool and breathtaking views of the sunset right from our room — every evening was pure magic. One of the highlights was having our own private pool connected to the room — such a unique and luxurious experience! Breakfasts were simply amazing, not only delicious but also served with the most picturesque view of Oia village. The staff deserves special mention — everyone was so warm, friendly, and attentive, always making sure we felt comfortable. Our room was spotless every day, with fresh towels and perfect cleaning service. We stayed for a full week and enjoyed every single moment. This place truly exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a romantic and unforgettable getaway!

The swimming pool was a great size—not just for dipping your toes, but actually big enough for a proper swim, which we really appreciated. The staff were outstanding. A special thank you to Ioanna at reception, who was always warm, helpful, and welcoming, and to Constantina in the restaurant—so friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was another highlight: a great variety, delicious options, and beautifully presented. A perfect start to each day. Would absolutely recommend Nimbus and hope to return again soon!

That you couldn’t get a bus back to property , that the driveway was very steep.

All staff members were SO awsome!!! From the moment we woke up to the momento we got to sleep, everybody was só nice and professional! They can schedule whchiever restaurant you want or even a Cruise. The hotel itself is also VERY nice and beautiful. We could see the sunset from our balcony (and we stayed in 2 different suits). The hotel is located in one of the highest clifs on Santorini. The breakfast was also REALLY good!!

Because of the exclusiveness of the hotel, it's locateded a little bit far from the City center/Oia - but it's this distance that allows us to get a little more privace. The price could be a little better.
