Beautiful place, very clean. THE BEST HOSTS I REPEAT THE BEST HOSTS. Ilias and his wife Anna are sweetest host/ couple I’ve ever met. He picked us up from the airport and drop us off for free. Giving us free rides to Kamari and Fira anytime been 8am-11pm such a sweetheart. He went out of his was to make sure we were happy and comfortable. His wife baked us cookies 🥹. I would happy go back again and again. Incase Ilias gets to see this “WE ARE THE TWO GIRLS FROM ROOM 9 WE MISS YOU SO MUCH”. You’re an amazing person god bless you!

Anna & Illias made this holiday fantastic. They made us feel at home and safe straight away. The apartment was a beautiful traditional Greek style apartment with beautiful sea views. The pool was fantastic, really quiet, plenty of sun beds and the children loved it being in the water. The rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard with fresh towels and beds made each day. Illias was so kind and took us to Fira and Kamari for free and collected us , he was so reliable it put us at ease as it was hard to differentiate what vehicles were taxis in Santorini and with children you want to feel safe. Anna was so kind to us from the start and welcomed us like family, she was so friendly towards the children and offered us ice cream and fruit when we were by the pool, and lovely biscuits she’d made. We absolutely loved Santorini it was a beautiful place and we’re always sad to leave when we go home but this time we were sad leaving Anna and Illias as they made us feel so at home.

I was initially concerned the size of the apartment might be a struggle but once we’d unpacked it was absolutely fine with wardrobes and draws for the clothes.

Lovely rural apartment close to the airport and a half-hour walk from Kamari. Very helpful owner/staff, who gave us a lift to and from the airport (even at 4.45am!). We had a two-storey apartment with a bedroom upstairs (open plan with a double, single and folding beds), and a kitchen/living area and bathroom downstairs. There’s also a small terrace at the back for evening drinks etc. Kitchen nicely equipped for making breakfast and light meals; bathroom well-equipped with modern fittings.

Just beware it’s a little way out of town if you’re on foot - very close to the beach, a restaurant and local shop, but some way from Kamari. And although it’s close to the airport perimeter, access is on the opposite side, so it would be a 40+ minute walk without Mr Ilias’ trusty van :)

The property was FANTASTIC! We arrived at 10pm after our flight had been delayed and the owner was waiting to pick us up free of charge. He was very kind to us and showed us our room. Which was exceptional and especially considering the very low price we paid. We had zero issues with the room and he gave us some recommendations for restaurants and offered to drive us to the bus station the next morning. We woke up after a lovely nights sleep and went for a swim in their very well kept pool. At 10:30 we walked out with our bags and he was waiting to take us to the bus stop. His wife was also so lovely and warm and made us two young girls feel very much at home before sending us off. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!!

Very nice pool, clean, nice outside with plants/landscaping, close to water, quiet, relaxing, staff was kind and helpful. FREE airport transfers! Parking available. The hotel has a rustic, traditional ambience (as the name implies). Good value for the price. Galini Restaurant nearby has excellent food, great value, mostly locals eat there, and on the water.

Pretty isolated so you need a car to see the island or to go to a restaurant in the dark because there are no sidewalks or shoulders and we did not feel comfortable walking on an unfamiliar narrow rural road with traffic. There is no shower curtain so water goes around the bathroom. Plan accordingly to put items on the shelf under the sink to keep them dry. We enjoyed our stay, but want people to know what to expect.

A cute room that has everything you need - on a cute plot of land run by a man and a wife. The airport is 5 minutes again by car, and the owner took me there for free - we discussed the day before that he'd take me there 2 hours prior. There's also a pool, and a good fish restaurant by the hotel.

The nearest good beach is Kamari - 30 mins on foot. The beach right by the hotel is not good. Works for you if have a car. And also the room is cute, the bed is too big and it's inconvenient to get around the room.

There are no words to express our gratitude for staying here. The accomodation consist in 7 apartaments and 5 rooms, with a very big beautiful and clean pool, all in traditional greek style, on the shore of Kamari beach, managed by Anna and Elias - the most kind hosts that we ever met (and we've travelled a lot). The hotel may not seem much at the first glance, if you are looking for top luxury, but it's authentic greek style all around, and the prices are fair. The owner waits for you at the airport when arriving, takes you everywhere - Kamari town, Fira, comes again to take you back when you're finished, takes you back to airport (I saw him doing that for guests even in the middle of the night), working literally from dawn till long in the night. Taken us to buy pita gyros for example, when we wanted to order. And all this for free, always very modest and kind, speaking very little English but always trying to help us. He didn't even accept to take the change, at the end when we paid the tourist fee (0.5 E/ person), and on top of these he gave us a souvenir magnet. Tourism like they do, you don't get to see very often elsewhere, if any. About the position of the hotel, before coming, we were worried about staying on this side of the island - opposite to the side of caldera. But after exploring the island, we realised that staying on this side (especially Kamari area with a nice shoreline), is by far a better choice than staying at Fira/Oia, where is mega crowded, is very hot, people always hustle and bustle on the narrow streets, thus walking becoming difficult, shops and restaurants that rip you off. You can still get to enjoy Fira/Oia everyday (we went there everynight), but without the disadvantages. The hotel is 5 min by car to Kamari center (or 20 - 25 min by foot), to Fira is 15 min by car, from Fira you can take bus to everywhere, including Oia (which is 20 min by bus).

We got exactly what we booked ano so much more! We chose this apartment because it´s really close to airport and we had a very late flight back. Mr. Ilias gave us a free pick up from the airport and during our whole stay has been very kind, helpful and warm harted. We even did get an ice cream :) If you are hikers like us, you can hike from here to Oia and take the bus back. We wanted to rent an ATV and the owner again helped us and we did get even better price and the ATV came to the apartment! Last day this beautiful and caring family let us stay the whole day at their pool so we did not need to wait for the flight. Thank you again and wish you many satisfied guest like us :)

I loved the apartment we stayed in. Exactly like in the photos that I saw, it was homey, charming, and overall comfortable. It had a view of the sea, which was a short walk away, and you could hear the waves crashing. It was close to the airport but you couldn't see the planes and if all the windows were closed it was more a hum for me, the waves sounded closer and comforting. Ilias and his wife Anna are the best of hosts. Always greeting you with a smile, and despite a little language barrier, he is always ready to entertain guests. It was a 20-minute walk to the centre, but he would always offer to drive us there. The mini markets were 5 and 15 minutes walk away (I walk slow and have short legs) or just at the corner if he dropped or picked us up in the centre. .

The apartment and facilities were great, the owners were amazing and very welcoming, Ilias was so good in giving us a lift to the nearest town and back, Anna came out with icecreams one day to all at the swimming pool! The apartment was very clean and comfortable with garden patio, also kitchenete. There is a minimarket and atm 5 min walk, also a good beach restaurant few mins away. Kamari town 40min walk or 10min drive.

Keep in mind its near the airport runway with flights taking off all night, so if you a light sleeper could be and issue
