Great place right in the center of Symi harbour. You have everything right in your door step. Many lovely restaurant and shops and a beautiful harbour to walk around every evening. Plenty boats leaving to nearby beaches too. Big supermarket only couple streets away with big fruit and veg selection. The Appartment definitely has some character and some of the furniture is a little dated but you can see that in the photos. The balcony was great we had an awesome view with our breakfast every morning. The kitchennet is only usable for prepping some basic salads or so but you can make your tea and coffee which is provided and keep some stuff in the fridge. It was missing some basic utensils like chopping board and a knife but we asked the staff for some and they were back with what we needed in a couple of hours. We had a great couple of days here.

We booked The Old Symi apartment very last-minute, and the host handled it perfectly—quick communication, smooth check-in, and a warm welcome when we arrived. The apartment was exactly as described: a well-done renovation that kept the traditional Symi character (wood beams, stone details) while feeling fresh and clean. Location was ideal—close enough to the harbor for dinners but quiet at night. Small thoughtful details (like strong Wi-Fi and clear local tips) made it feel like a home away from home. Would happily stay here again. Recommended for anyone who wants a *no-fuss, authentic place* on the island.

The apartment is really special. It is so big for the price, very comfy, and super clean. The bed was amazing, I slept so deeply every night and struggled to get up! I was travelling in off season so it was also really good to have a TV in the apartment with Netflix as the evenings were quiet in Symi. Fresh towels and bed made every day was a lovely surprise.

I'm on a super tight budget, so I had to make every meal myself. Although the kitchenette has a microwave, there could be a chopping board and some bowls added to the supplies to help.

The apartment is located central in Symi Town (Gialos) close to everything.Restaurants, cafe, super markets, arrival-departure of line ships and cruise fast boats.It's the ideal spot to explore everything.The apartment is in traditional Symi style decorated and comfortable with all necessities.It's spotlessly clear with daily care service.Great value for money.

Everything in this apartment is exceptional, absolutely no complaint.

Our stay was wonderful! The room exuded a delightful old-world charm, perfectly preserved through a tasteful renovation. The bed and sofa were comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights. Having a little kitchen was a major plus, especially as we traveled with our child. The location was perfect—close to everything yet very quiet. The view from our room was lovely, and everything was spotlessly clean. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and we appreciated being able to walk from the port to our room with ease, even with just a suitcase.

The mezzanine could be a bit hazardous for younger children, so it's something to be mindful of if you're traveling with little ones.

The old Symi is situated in a fantastic location at the back of Yialos (the port) And the staff particularly the cleaner were wonderful. We had clean towels everyday and were looked after like a 5 ⭐️hotel.

There is renovation work going on downstairs so it was noisy from 8 am. Luckily were were up early everyday.

Apartment was well located, quiet and cute. Very simple arrangement which suited us completely fine, with a homey feeling. Very good value. Our host was very nice, made us feel welcomed by meeting us when arriving by ferry and kept our luggage after checkout. Closing the blinds during the night was important because of the pickleball court lights next to the balcony. The balcony is good, kitchenette useful for salads, and I loved all the old wooden interior

Bed frame and low ceiling difficult for tall husband. Very basic range of crockery, glasses and cutlery. Bowls and a sharp knife would have been useful. Limited storage space for clothes for a longer stay. No safe. Only two hooks in bathroom.

Lovely, traditional apartments in the heart of Yialós Symi where everything is close! The rooms are clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds!!! Bathroom with shower is quite efficient! The staff is nice and friendly and always helpful!

In the summer the rooms get very hot and the air-conditioning is not strong enough to keep the temperature low and pleasant!!! But that can be fixed easily I guess...

Location was very central in town, 2 min walk to a great local bakery with coffee, restaurants within 5 - 15 min. Property looked as in the photos. Temperature of the upstairs bedroom manageable with fan turned on at night. Beds and pillows were as expected for the Greek islands - flimsy.

Our only annoyances were that the host didn't leave enough toilet paper for our stay and the shower drain was clogged.
