We were a bit indecisive about what part of Symi town to stay in, but finally focused around the clock tower as it had a swimming area off the promenade. Choosing the Dorian Hotel did not disappoint, what a gorgeous place! We had a spacious room with balcony & lovely views of Symi, but there were other terraces around that we also made use of. Appreciated the traditional beautiful hand painted features on the walls and furniture, the well stocked kitchen, super comfortable bed and excellent wifi. Nikos was such a nice guy, helpful taking our luggage up the stairs to the Hotel. We adored Symi and would love to return one day and stay at the Dorian again!

Nicos the chap running the place was wonderful,v helpful, v sociable Helped us with transportation to and from port.Left a bag on minibus and he immediately contacted the driver to return with my bag He remembered our names,recommended places to visit and restaurants to go I never felt he had any agenda ,just v nice guy

It was a traditional Greek bed which means it was raised so you had to use a step to access While it was v comfortable if you had mobility issues it could be a problem We mentioned it to Nicos who said he was changing them for next year

Stayed at Dorian Hotel over the Easter weekend. A very beautiful, spacious studio. Tastefully decorated. Fully fitted kitchen. Supplies of water, coffee and tea were very welcome as were the lovely Easter treats. The studio was exceptionally clean and, to our surprise, cleaned daily. A very comfortable bed and tremendous space in fitted wardrobes for clothes. Bathroom a good size and shower was powerful. Free pickup and transport from port but the distance to walk it is not so much so that was an added bonus. But, best of all, our host Nikos. A true gentleman who takes great pride, and rightly so, in both Dorian Hotel and his beautiful island of Symi. Nikos was very attentive to the needs of his guests and any communication to him before and during our stay was promptly replied to with the answer or clarification to the query. The fact that he carried both sets of our luggage up and down those flights of stairs was beyond impressive 💪🏻 Superman! And yes Nikos - WiFi was excellent too !! I definitely highly recommend Dorian Hotel. I hope to return to Symi again sometime and would absolutely aim to stay at this lovely establishment again.

The Bed could be upgraded not the best I’m sorry to have to say think it’s 30 Years old when all else is pleasant and no cell phone reception it hard when you need to work also But that’s not there fault I’d think or though down the stairs it’s fine

Quiet location and very handy to Port Area. Nick is very hospitable, provided transfers to Port & even bought us a cup of coffee.

Room 25. The bed was on a sort of platform, hard to get down from in a hurry.no view from the room unless you leave a door open and then it’s extremely limited. The Kitchen & Dining Area was in a Cave with no Natural light. The shower and Grate on the bathroom floors are to big for the drainage pipes. These are annoying and represent trip hazard.

A perfect place to stay on Symi. Nikos was a great host. The apartment was clean and the views are amazing. Great quiet location but just minutes form everything you need. Have to add that the Poseidon Trip Nikos recommended around the island was perfect day out and great value for money. We'll 100% be back.

The only fault - as with all hotels this trip, is that there is no external door handle to the balcony - so air con switches off as soon as you go out to the balcony. But that's minor and we loved this place!

Great location just minutes from the Clock Tower where our ferry docked. Spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped with tea, coffee, milk and sugar even being provided. Nikos is a warm and welcoming host who kindly brought us some treats from the bakery. We loved sitting outside watching the world go by down on the harbour

Location is fantastic, a short distance from the port and arguably the more scenic side of the bay. The town is easily walkable and there is a lovely quiet beach nearby.

Step flight of steps to the property, but this is highlighted by the owner. Our accommodation had steps to the bedroom which may not suit everyone.

Location close to the clocktower, but quieter side. Up some steps, but not too many! Enjoyed sitting at table and chairs by the steps in the evening. The apartment consisted of a small kitchen area at the entrance, bedroom and shower room, nicely decorated. Nikos met us and was very helpful and kind.

Nikos was the best host I ever seen! No kidding! He helped us a lot with everyting we needed and always on time!!! I really recommend this place, not only for its perfect location and great rooms with very confortable beds but also because you feel like you have friend there redy to help at a momentt's notice! You won't get better service enywhere else than here!
